We live on a 15 acre farm. We have a barn, and a fenced in yard for the dogs. Much of the acreage is fenced off for cows. We have a small vegetable garden in the spring and summer and a large flower garden space in progress. There's a small pond on the property. In additions to cows, we also have chickens, barn cats, and dogs. We have a second driveway and half-circle drive for parking a camper or car, as well as flat spaces to pitch a tent.
There is fishing nearby at the Amarugia Highlands Conservation Area and the city park.

Located only 50 miles SE of Kansas City, MO! We have woods and pasture with Settle's Ford Wildlife area (fishing and hiking available) 1/4 mile away. Camping is primitive with only an outhouse and no shower facilities. There are MANY thorn trees, so hikers must have proper footwear. Fire ring, wood and a grate for cooking are provided. Livestock encounters are also available with owners in attendance. All proceeds are put back in the farm to care for the animals and the land. Parking area is at the end of the driveway and a cart is provided to take your gear across the bridge. We love kids and will provide lawn darts or any other games we have available if requested. We are on 7 beautiful acres in Baldwin City, KS. We're in town, but you'll feel like you're secluded in the country so you get the convenience of being close to downtown Baldwin, just 3 minutes away, while also feeling like you're in the middle of nowhere peacefully camping, just you and the birds. Our "glamper" is a 1960's retro camper that has been fully restored. The outside still looks very retro, but when you step inside you'll instantly surrender to the relaxation that awaits. Milo has mant tent sites, car camping sites (for retroverted cars & sprinter vans), 6 cabins, a luxury guest space for you to stay! Sorry we DO NOT have any RV spots at this time. For our tent campers there are tent sites in the Eastfield, including the Movie set location of the DM Cabin, and for diehard campers the beauty of primitive pack-in/pack-out camping of Freedom Field is a joy! We had such a lovely time at Sonya's farm that we decided to stay another night. We enjoyed petting the goats, and I was even able to help move the billy goats and withers to another enclosure. It was beautiful at sunset and magical in the morning.

Our stay was wonderful! Kenny set our son up for some successful Birthday fishing! We jumped on the trampoline, swam, fished and enjoyed all the animals. The highlight was Finn’s catfish catch with Kenny’s supplied bait. Our trip even ended with the gift of a beautiful feather. Thanks for hosting a great night and morning!
