When we bought this property 5 years ago, it was a little run down. Many years ago, it housed sheep and cows. We revamped our little 15-acre farm and continue to improve its looks. Now it is our home and houses my riding stable. Many people have commented on how nice it is. I thought this would be a great opportunity to share its beauty and the animals with others.Learn more about this land:We have 6 spots to pitch a tent, but we're pretty flexible so if you see another area, please ask!. Site 10 is most secluded. The others are around our grassy barnyard area where you're able toenjoy all of our different animals!. All sites are 2-5 mins from the main house. You will be staying at our horse farm. We have many chickens, 2 bunnies, potbelly pigs, feeder pigs (depending on the time of year), and our 3 house dogs. We offer overnight equine amenities as well. You can enjoy a small fire (weather dependent) or listen to the crickets and frogs under the starry night. Actually, you can do it all. We offer rides on the horses as well, (extra charges). You can even book a trip to the state park to ride the horse trails, which is only 15 minutes away. There is a great fishing lake 1 mile from the farm, so bring your poles & kayaks. There is a Dollar General, 2 gas stations, and a liquor store in our tiny little town if you forget anything.

Our property setting is a hidden gem that opens to the most beautiful natural setting. The land offers a gorgeous view of the river and numerous shady sites nestled underneath a giant array of oak beach and walnut trees. Here at The Haven, the property has ample space for parking, room for various size camping tents and small pop-up tents small RV's, A dock for fishing, and access for kayaking. Fire pits and grill area for cooking and a complimentary bucket with some goodies to start you off. This setting is perfect for camping in a private nestled nook on the river. We have more than one area on the property to choose from. You can choose any site you would like: From the River’s edge, Beach Area (site 1) Small RV and tent site, or on the River under The Canopy of trees (site2) small RV and tent site.
