Welcome to Marshwiggle Farm. Here on our little slice of paradise, we enjoy raising our family, some chickens and a few pigs! We grow a big garden filled with both vegetables and flowers. Our LGD, Yukon, guards the farm and happily makes sure the deer, raccoons and bunnies stay away. His perimeter is an electric fence up by our house so he won’t be visiting you.
Your tent site is located on the back of our 18 acre farm and you have your own private lane to access the campsite. We are located next to a designated dark sky area so the stargazing is fantastic! Plus wildlife is abundant including our two Sandhill cranes that live on the pond.
Dr Lawless Park is a designated DARK SKY and is located 1/4 of a mile away. This park has fantastic mountain biking and hiking so bring your bikes to enjoy a good ride!
There is space to park your boat for use on the local lakes. Birch Lake is absolutely gorgeous and makes for a great kayak ride. Enjoy fishing or water sports on local Diamond or Donnell Lakes located within a few minutes of our farm. We are around 45 minutes from Amish country Shipshewana and Notre Dame Stadium.

Beautiful private spot. With electrical hookups. If you want to have complete privacy to unwind- this is great. Our dogs had a great time running around. The Twin Sisters Brewery nearby was great. Dowagiac farmers market was also fun to do.

Perfect overnight stay! We stopped here for a night on our way up north and it was a perfect spot offering privacy, proximity, room for the dog to run around a bit, and electric a nice bonus. The site is super convenient and maintained well. We would definitely use again.

Nice mulched area to camp, had a bin full of firewood which was nice, had a nice fire pit. We were in an overlanding rig and had our own solar generator. Mostly quiet area and set back in the woods which provides shade most of the day. Theodore was very responsive to our questions. We will probably try again in colder weather.

Lots of space, lots of birds and butterflies to admire, and plenty of amenities to boost your camping experience - a shower and sink, trashcan, clean portopotty, a shelter to keep yourselves and your belongings from getting wet, and electrical hookup. Wonderful overnight stay at this campsite! Host was very communicative. The site was spacious and easy to maneuver into - there are two driveways that connect around the site to make it easy to pull through. Great amenities including 50/30/20 amp hook up (so we could use air conditioning!), bins, and a fire pit (didn’t use because it was too hot). Lovely scenery surrounded by fields. There was a beautiful show of fireflies over the fields at dusk! Would definitely stay again.

This location is nearly perfect for us! The woods block the sun from the south and crate a beautiful shaded wooded area that is very private but only a few miles from town. especially enjoyed the horse & buggies passing by waving every time! We loved it, and plan to come back in fall!

Weekend Trip to Marshwiggle Farm
I had stayed at Marshwiggle previously on the bring-your-own-tent camp sites and it was awesome. This time when I booked, I didn't look too closely, so imagine my delight when I arrived and found a spacious, clean, bug-free tent with a full kitchen and a comfy queen bed! Sarah is a super responsive and accommodating host. I found s'mores supplies and a fresh vase of flowers when I arrived, and even though it was a disgusting 92 degrees and high humidity, the tent was pleasant-enough at night with the windows open. If you are not used to tent camping, I can see how this might feel too rustic, but as someone who usually does basic car camping, this was an incredible upgrade. I was staying in the area for a retreat, so I didn't cook any meals, but man, it would have be great to cook up some burgers or other things on the Blackstone and enjoy some local ciders by the fire. The kitchen seemed to have everything needed. I hope next time I come, I can stay long enough to get the breakfast add-on.
The bathroom is also a nice upgrade from a typical vault toilet and I am grateful to have running water to wash my hands and face. The addition of the outdoor shower this year is FANTASTIC. It was so hot, I didn't use the heater, but it was really nice to take a cold shower before bed - just had to wait until it was late enough that the mosquitos were not completely swarming. I come to the area often, so I am already looking forward to my next stay!

What a great spot for tent camping! The camping space is huge and secluded. The space has electric and water available to use. The spot was very secluded. I could hear a little bit of traffic from a nearby road but nothing major. The spot is surrounded by trees so it was a little buggy, but lighting a fire seemed to control this. My dogs loved the area as well. They don't get to roam off lead very often but this area felt safe enough to allow them free range. Our host Joe was very responsive and even replied to a message I sent him around midnight. He also checked in with us a couple of different times to make sure we were still doing ok.

Joe was an amazing host! Very fast at replying in messenger. The property was absolutely beautiful. The photos don't do ithid place justice. I camped with my step mom and friend with our 5 dogs. We attended a K9 obstacle challenge near by. The dogs had a lot of fun with so much room to run! The place was very clean and well kept.
Note: the fire pit is very large and the lowest point is about 10 inches below ground. If you plan to cook over an open fire be prepared to step down inside it. It can be slick. Joe's property is very secluded with minimal noise, being quite a ways away from neighbors. If you are looking for a deep in the woods get away from the craziness of life. This is the place!!!
We did tent camping. But there is plenty of space for RV' s to get in and out a long with alot of space to turn around and plenty of space to be level. The driveway was very easy in and out for large rigs. (I drive truck for a living)
We did not venture into the woods, but our dogs did and when they came back they were quite happy with themselves!
10 out of 10 I highly recommend! I would like to make this an annual trip going forward!!

This is our third time staying at Gage - it’s a short distance from where we store our camper and great for a weekend retreat. This time we opened the camper up for the season, did cleaning, stocking, etc. so the fact it has electric and water is a real plus. The space is private and relaxing. We enjoy the atmosphere and amenities. We will camp there again, I’m certain!
