First off, let me be clear that there is no yurt. I don't know if there ever will be one again, but I would definitely reach out to Lacey before booking if you expect it. She said it was past guest's, but that doesn't seem right to me given all the pics and that her instructions even mention it...
That said, Lacey was very kind about the confusion, and did everything she could to make us comfortable. To be fair, I'd expect the price to be a bit higher if it actually included a yurt. Plan to bring your tent.
As for the site - you're in someone's very nice, long backyard that goes back to the river. You can see their house, the neighbors' houses, and the highway which produces a bit of noise. It certainly doesn't feel very private, but Lacey provides some comforts that you don't usually find way off in the wilderness: table/chairs, loungers, solar lights, camping toilet, shower (which wasn't working when we were there, so you may want to ask if that's repaired.)
There is plenty of space to play sports or with your dog. There is actually quite a bit of wildlife though you're so close to town. We saw several deer and pheasants in just a one night stay!
I would have recommended this site to a family that would benefit having the comfort of being closer to town, but currently this site is rentable for only two people. Since it's not private, and doesn't have the yurt, it wasn't the romantic getaway I was hoping for.
