The farm is located 15 minutes west of Indiana Universities Memorial Stadium. The property is nice and private. The farm adjoins the 75 acre Stranger Hills Organic farm, the oldest organic farm in Indiana. Our 1899 Farmhouse is the only residence on the entire farm. There is a 3000 acre farm to our south. The area is quiet and very private. The campsites are in a grassy walnut grove by a small creek that runs along the eastern border of the property. We have a white deer creek cabin tent on a platform there and 3 or 4 nice level campsites to the north. There is a shaded RV site at the top of a small hill with 30 amp service. We can accommodate a large RV on packed gravel with 50 amp service. the farm is located 15 minutes east of McCormicks Creek State Park. There is a composting toilet and an on demand hot shower in a small building adjacent to the campsites. There is a YMCA about five minutes East of the property. We now have a no dog policy. I haven’t been able to change it on the site.

Working, 110 acre family farm of heritage breed livestock, nestled in a historic limestone quarry on the banks of the White River, on one side, and Fall Creek, on another. Dogs must be on a leash in the camping area, given the above features of a working livestock farm, the quarry ruins, the operative railroad tracks, and the river (not suitable for swimming), family friendly (children under the age of 18 must be attended by adults at all times).

Our cabins have AC/Heat. A dry sink are in each cabin are provided. Roast hotdogs over your private fire pit as

If your interested in camping there is 20 acres and ample space for you to decide where to put up your tent. We provide a firepit or ring. Wood can be purchased or foraged yourself for your fire.Hoosier National Forest is across street so hiking is unlimited. This is a quiet destination in the woods with abundant wildlife.There is a small farm here where produce and flowers even eggs can be purchased. Chickens,guineas,ducks,turkeyand geese are free range so all about near house.
This is also a cat sanctuary with disabled cats mostly wobbly, you probably won't see any of them as they are afraid of strangers.
Please understand, you will be in the woods. We have coyotes,bobcat,mountain lion,fox,deer,skunk racoons, opossums etc... Keep food contained and be aware of surroundings!
We now have kune kune pigs. And recently added 2 mini cows, 1 is an 11 year old rescue and 1 is a heifer calf as well as a standard heifer calf.

TWO SPOTS TO CHOOSE FROM……
The camping spot we refer to as the NORTHSIDE SPOT is a flat yard atop a hill it makes for a great spot to park your RV, camper, tent or boat. This grass camping spot is always mowed and clean. Two large pine trees provide some shade for this northside camping spot. You can enjoy nearly panoramic views of the night sky! This spot is alongside a country road. It is considered less private than the SOUTH SIDE SPOT.
The SOUTH SIDE CAMPING SPOT, is for tent campers only with a smaller vehicle. It is very private and completely surrounded by woods. This spot can accommodate two tents and one or two cars. There is no view of the night sky since you are in a dense forest.
Patoka lake is less than 10 minutes away ( boating, fishing, hiking, swimming, biking).
Holiday World ( an amusement park) is about 30 minutes away.

Weekend Trip to Celtic Glen Farm Stay
The small cabin was a great option for our quick weekend getaway from Indy. We brought our bikes and spent Saturday cycling, with lots of (Hilly) rural roads in the region. Sunday morning we signed up for the Summer Solstice outdoor yoga class in the henge. The local eggs and bread were wonderful additions to our weekend camp meals.

The henge is neat, & the property is close to a cute town and a nice park. If you are not a heavy sleeper, make sure you bring good earplugs and maybe take a Benadryl before bed. There’s a dog shelter nearby and the dogs are in outdoor kennels. They can get pretty excited during the night. Lessie, the owner is a very kind and responsive if you need anything.

Weekend Trip to Happy Campers Campground
I was looking for a location close to Terre Haute where we could decompress after an outdoor workshop with my dog that ran a full weekend. I had previously stayed in the local hotels, but wanted something with space, quiet, and most of the standard comforts.
I was pleasantly surprised when we walked into the cabin on the first night that there was a/c. I must have not read carefully because I was ready for a humid evening, but the a/c was on and the cabin felt great! The fridge was big enough for my meals, the microwave was full size and heated up morning coffee in a jiffy. Everything was clean and organized. Bed was comfy, but honestly I’m not too picky — especially after working outdoors for 10 hours. I also don’t mind an outhouse, even when it rained for a brief period. The short distance had a nice big tree that provided cover most of the way.
The owner met me as we were unpacking and went over the form. And we had a quick chat about my weekend, and he made sure we had everything we needed.

We originally were going to stay at Henge C, which is a really nice site as we backed our camper in and setup. However, after exploring a bit, we asked to move to the Upper Vista since it wasn’t occupied and Leslie and Phil were nice enough to allow us to do so. The Upper Vista had a little more space and a stronger breeze. Phil did a great farm tour for us and the camping property is fun to explore. The Upper Vista is a tent site but we were able to back in our 19’ camper (front of tongue to very back of the bumper) with super crew half ton with 5.5’ bed. Upper Vista and Henge C were both tight but doable with this setup, but I wouldn’t go any longer. Anyway, awesome place, nice folks.

A beautiful place to camp! Dwight was really helpful in getting us set up with our site. We camped next to the barn with our two dogs since there was a dog already on the row of 4. The site was perfectly level and offered a nice view down to the pond. The farm chickens peeked at us, and the camp cat paid us a couple of visits. We purchased eggs from Dwight and enjoyed them the next morning before pulling out for our next leg. We would definitely stop there again!

I stayed at Coops Dream Farm as a solo traveler camping out of my Jeep with a rooftop tent, and it turned out to be one of the most relaxing stops of my trip. The host was incredibly friendly and made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived.
The property is secluded and peaceful, making it a great place to unwind after a long day on the road. Instead of traffic and crowded campgrounds, I fell asleep to the sounds of nature and woke up to birds singing. As the sun went down, the fireflies came out and put on an amazing show—definitely one of the highlights of my stay.
During my stay, I was lucky enough to spot some local wildlife, which made the experience feel even more connected to nature. If you're an overlander, rooftop tent camper, or just someone looking for a quiet place to disconnect and recharge, Coops Dreams Farm is well worth the stop.
I'd absolutely stay here again on future adventures.
