We're bringing my family farm back to life. My parents farmed here until the 1980's, but couldn't make a profit with corn and soybeans. My husband, Nate, and I moved home in 2014, and started turning the fields into pastures. Today, we run Nightfall Farm, raise animals with respect, and sell pasture-raised meat locally. Our cabins sits on 100 acres.
Our cabins have AC/Heat. A dry sink are in each cabin are provided. Roast hotdogs over your private fire pit as
a fire pit is just outside the cabin along with private picnic table. We have a shower bathroom house. You provide your own towel, and soap products.
Dogs are allowed but must be on a leash and under your control at all times. Privy's are found just outside the cabin.
We have miles of hiking trails and several spring fed creeks so take your hiking boots off and wade in the clean cool water.
Stars are in abundance at Guthrie Meadows so star gazing is a must!

Hones Pointe was established in 1988. It was built by four insurance agents to elude our sales managers so we could enjoy a unique natural setting. Over the years, we have planted many different varieties of trees and perennials to observe. Also evidence exists of this area being an Indian camp long ago as suggested by arrowheads and an old handmade rock wall.

Small Farm located just 3 miles outside of Lagrange, KY and 18 miles outside of Louisville, KY but it feels like you are deep in the countryside. There are tons of things to be excited about here at Starlight....there are horses, and a mini-pig to snuggle with. There are chickens and ducks to watch do .....chicken and duck things. There is a little pond that is stocked full of fish to catch (and then throw back). Rolling hills, with beautiful vistas, or old timey barns and cabins. If you are the adventurous type, you can pitch tent with the horses and let them wander around you all night! Our 22 acre property is perfect for people who want to get away. There is only one house visible from ours. Its very quiet and secluded. We offer 50amp service, water hookup and dump station if needed. There is WIFI also available for RV Campers (we are in the country so it is what it is). There are 2 sites. One in the woods for tent campers and one up above for RV campers. We do not have showers or bathrooms for campers. The Big Blue River boarders the whole property. We have kayaks we could rent out if someone needed them or bring your own. We have a large fire ring up above and a more compact one for river front, with the first wheel barrow load of wood free.
We are close to I70 and have a nice little convince store and Dollar Store about a mile away that will have all the necessities. Plenty of room to park at both sites.

We are an Ohio Century Farm located in historic North Bend, Ohio. Single-family owned since 1855, our farm is located only 20 minutes outside of downtown Cincinnati but feels as if you are in the country side. Our campsites are located within a easy 5 minute walk of our on-farm distillery, winery, market, and food truck.
Part of our 300 acre property is part of the conservation easement that makes up the "Oxbow," a migratory bird and waterfowl area that is popular among birdwatchers in the spring and autumn seasons. We have a large eagle population along with a host of other raptors.

This was our second time staying at this beautiful site on the river. Randy is a great host and easy to contact. The site is well maintained and hasnice, level concrete pads. The fishing was good and the bird sightings were amazing. We saw Bald Eagles every day were there. The entrance and exit are a bit steep, but we have managed them both times. Overall, this is one of our favorite places to camp. We look forward to returning soon.

What a wonderful spot! We were the only ones camping and it was entirely peaceful. Seeing the barges float by was such a cool thing to see - the kids loved it! Having a cement pad was super helpful and a nice amenity. We went to a town nearby (Rising Sun) for a picnic and a walk along the river. I would not consider this spot if you do not have 4WD.

This was a great spot to spend the night! Beautiful views, comfy cabin, spotless outhouse. I didn't try the showers, but it was great they provide them. I'd stay again if I were in the area. The cabins are separate from one another and very private, so you have your own secluded hangout.

We loved bring our Airstream Interstate Class B camper van there. We ere able to pull right off the dirt road on top a level area which mae this site super easy. There are actually 2 ways to get to the sites. We went through the back side which made for no turning around and an easy departure in the morning. We odered wood from our host that was delivered right to your site upon arrival. The sunset was amazing! We walked down to the beverage company on the property for drinks, dinner and live music, then back to our site for a bon fire and games! LOVED our stay. We will definitely be back!!

This is our favorite place to get out of Louisville and into nature because it’s relaxed, the sites are well-spaced, and we’ve never had a problem with other campers here. Just know that some sites are primitive and prepare accordingly.

We loved the cabin at nightfall. It was perfect for the two of us. The outdoor kitchen made it so easy to cook and cleanup. Liz was so friendly and welcoming. Loved going on little walks around the property. Croft, the kitty, was an added bonus. The cabin was so comfy and made us feel like we were in the middle of the woods.

Great location to Louisville. Quiet and tranquil. The earlier recommendation to have enough blocks to level is spot on even with auto leveling. Very hospitable owner who provides wood and a dumpster. Would happily go back.

The cabin was cozy and the trails were very nice to hike. My favorite part was being greeted by a pack of alpacas whenever we walked by. All of the land around the cabins was beautiful to explore and it was a quick drive to Spring Mill State Park for some more exploration and trails.

Weekend Trip to Nightfall Farm
I had the best time spending the weekend here. I went for a solo birthday getaway and it was exactly what I had hoped for. I felt safe as a solo woman traveler with the location of the cabin. Tucked away and private, while this being close enough if something were to happen. Croft the cat was the best surprise and entertainment as he hunted through the woods around the cabin. Would be thrilled to back again
