The stocking is typically scheduled for the first week of June each year, so if you are an angler, it's best to come after June 7th for the best fishing. Swimming in nearby Talache Landing (a.k.a. Talache Beach) on the shores of Lake Pend Oreille is an absolute must-do. There are also many trails and adventures within a 15 min drive of the property. We have a few dogs that live on property and like to come say hi to the campers and play fetch. I loved camping on this piece of property! The camp sites were fantastic with a great view. The land is very well maintained and has small hikes through the property. There are amazing touches throughout the property that show the host loves the property. It was very quiet and felt remote. The trees and rock landscape on the property are beautiful. Things to know: The road up is one way and fairly narrow. Move slowly and use a spotter if necessary. Also - the electric supply box is located a distance from the D spot, and is shared by C and D. You may need more electrical line to reach your camper, even in the C spot! It was a great site to camp in and the host was responsive on the app!

We absolutely loved our stay at Paradise on Mirror Lake! It’s a small, quiet campground with a ton of charm. The Bigfoot theme is awesome. Our boys had a blast following the Bigfoot trail. For a thrill, our boys even did the trail at night with flashlights, which made the experience that much more fun! We stayed in Site C, which was beautiful, but definitely bring an RV extension cord since the hookups are a bit of a stretch. If you’re looking for a laid-back place to unwind, explore, and maybe spot Bigfoot, this is it. We’ll definitely be back!

I had a peaceful and quiet time at this lovely property. I booked for the weekend and ended up being the only one there. Will was a great host and checked in on me daily. My dog and I had a wonderful time. We chilled in the morning, had a swim in the lovely pond, a nice walk and a nap then sat by the fire in the evening. Couldn't be better. Highly recommend and looking forward to going to one of the music festivals the owners hold there!!! Thank you so much.

2 nights at Upper Pack River Cottage

lots to explore in the upper pack river valley. Our experience with Mike as a host was fantastic, very accommodating. The cottage is very cozy and has many little extras stocked insids, flashlights right where you need them if your going out in the night, board games and cards, reading material, a book on the hiking trails in the area, cutlery and the shower works great. We highly recommend this getaway. This cottage would also be a great location to have close access to hunting in the area during the season as well.

5 nights at Waterfront Adventures

We loved staying at this HipCamp. It was one of the best locations we have stayed. Literally feet away from the Pend Oreille River, the views were amazing. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. We had to change our plans and they worked with HipCamp to get two nights refunded even though it was outside their cancellation policy. We would definitely stay here again.
