Are you looking for an adventure and opportunities to explore the wilderness and Lake Koocanusa? Come experience camping off grid in the true beautiful nature and wildlife of Montana. I have an off grid ranch on 161 acres bordered by the Kootenai National Forest and Lake Koocanusa just down the dirt road. It's very wooded but does have a few open meadows. My land is very private surrounded by beautiful mountains, forestry, wildlife and streams/creeks. The lake has a great beach front for swimming, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, etc. There's a boat launch 3 miles away for bigger boats or pontoons. My property also provides direct access to hundreds of miles of trails for hiking, horse trail riding, biking, snowmobiling and 4-wheeling. Want to bring your horse? We also offer horse camping, trail riding with overnight trail camping options and stall boarding. Round pen and outdoor arena available soon. Pitch a tent next to the creek or park your RV and/or horse trailer anywhere on our 161 acres surrounded by the Kootenai National Forest. Full access to Lake Koocanusa for kayaking, canoeing, swimming, fishing, etc. Immediate access to Kootenai National Forest with hundred miles of trails for horseback riding, hiking, 4-wheeling, biking, etc. Each site accommodates 1 RV (Class A,B,C any length), or 1 Travel Trailer any length or 1 Tent (Pitch, Trailer Mounted, Pop Up). If your party has 1 Class C RV and 1 Airstream and 1 trailer mounted pop up you will need to reserve 3 separate sites regardless of number of people in your party. Even though each site allows 6 occupants it only allows 1 camping implement such as an RV, trailer, or tent. We do offer a group rate, refer to site 3. Horse trailers and Toy Haulers are included in your site charge. All camping is dispersed so if you reserve two sites you have the freedom to camp right next to each other. Thank you.

Ryder and Shayne were amazing hosts! Plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the beauty of Northwest Montana! They were so generous with sharing their land with us and had plenty of amenities available. We would definitely come back

Shayne and Ryder are excellent hosts. The property is lovely and a nice walk from the lake. We loved staying in the airstream! We wished we had brought apples for the horses!

Shayne’s land was beautiful. Secluded but close to a water access, serene and quiet. Hosts were extremely nice, welcoming and helpful. 10/10 would recommend to anyone thinking of staying in the area. Bonus point: it was so cool to be staying in an airstream !

If you like the rustic mountain camping like we do it's a fabulous place to stay. Lake is close for swimming, kayaking, fishing. The Libby dam is near by. It's tour was good and there is great recreational areas there, floating dock, boat launch, playareas for kids, etc. We were camped a very short walk to the little creek and spent some time playing in it also. Quiet and relaxing.
