The Cove consists of 12 acres with a tributary stream and spring fed ponds
less than a half mile from the Toccoa River. It was originally the water source for the surrounding properties prior to the city installing a water system. It is completely private and unspoiled nature, with about a mile of walking trails throughout. The Mountaintop is a 3 acre high elevation site bordering 140 acres of undisturbed woods and is also very close to the Toccoa River.
Fantastic location yet very private for base camp to access the many activities in this area, or enjoy the Toccoa River. It is the only campground in Fannin County limited to only one group at a time.
Each site includes 2 access points to the Toccoa River. The Gibbs Drive community river access lot has a charcoal grill, picnic table, boat launch, swimming rock and fire pit with chairs. The Toccoa River Forest community river access lot has a big boat ramp. The river is controlled flow and usually at low water from dawn to about 2 pm, ideal for fishing or swimming/wading/boulder bopping. The River release schedule is available online at
the website TVA.gov.
The River has swift current when the dam is opened for release, usually daily.
This property is conveniently located in Mineral Bluff, Georgia 30559, just 4 miles off the 4-lane highway (Highway 515/76) and just a short drive to Blue Ridge, Georgia; Blairsville, Georgia; Murphy, North Carolina, McCaysville, Georgia and Copper Hill, Tennessee. It is a paved road drive all the way to the entrance. It is located just a few miles from the center of downtown Blue Ridge with art galleries, many restaurants, brew pubs, shopping, the Blue Ridge Brewing Company, Mercier Orchard, the Blue Ridge Scenic Railroad, and more!
The Blue Ridge Scenic Railroad runs most of the year from Blue Ridge to McCaysville, right along the Toccoa River.

Complementary coffee , hot tea, and water. There is a microwave and a mini fridge. It is in the woods by a stream and it is right beside my house where I live. Parking is about 150 feet walk down a small hill and a few stone steps. It is not handicap accessible. 3 miles to grocery and or Target/Walmart. The Chattahoochee river old Settles Bridge is 1/2 of a mile past my driveway trout fishing and kayak if you have one. I have a medium bike you can use.

Beautiful log cabin built in the early 1930’s and the front of the house used to be the bait shop. We have the biggest lot on the lake and the best view. In the winter, you can see Stone Mountain in the background. We have a large fire pit, a large metal kayak and a Jon boat. Our lake is fully stocked with largemouth, smallmouth bass and blue gills. Plenty of cool places to put a tent and we are up on a hill so no need to worry about floods. The Bait Shack has 1 bedroom with a queen bed and bunkbed that has a twin and full sized bed. Also a large couch in the living room and an air mattress under the bunk bed just in case. Our property was also used for two of T-Pain’s new music videos.

There are 3 treehouses present on these 5 acres of land tucked into the National Forest. A stream runs past 2 of the treehouses down to a pasture with a small assortment of animals. The property includes friendly, free roaming, outdoor cats that will likely keep you company during your stay. Do note there are dogs at the main cabin. While on your glamping trip, there are several places nearby to hiking, fishing, swimming, and if you're brave enough, even biking the ups and downs of the mountain roads.
Parking, as well as a bathroom with running water and electricity, are at the main cabin, which is a short walk from the treehouse.

Cabin is a 10 x12 with a porch across the front. Sit on the porch and listen to the breeze thru the tree leaves and birds chirping and owls hooting. There are 2 lofts for sleeping and a futon. Small area with coffee pot and fridge. Enjoy your meals either inside cabin or outside at the picnic table. There is no running water in the cabin. No cooking in the cabin, but toast or roast your meal at small fire pit near cabin and picnic table. A full bathroom is available in the basement of nearby home with a private entrance. There is unmarked hiking in the surrounding state forrest. With in a 30 min drive, you will find access to the Appalachian trail, lake Blueridge, toccoa river for paddling, Serenberry Winery. One room, tiny cabin, 10‘ x 16‘ ( it's small) with bathroom , kitchenette , shower, space heater and air conditioning twin bed all in one room it's perfect for one person but it sleeps two with two twin beds one rolls out. Complementary coffee , hot tea, and water. There is a microwave and a mini fridge. It is in the woods by a stream and it is right beside my house where I live. Parking is about 150 feet walk down a small hill and a few stone steps. It is not handicap accessible. 3 miles to grocery and or Target/Walmart. The Chattahoochee river old Settles Bridge is 1/2 of a mile past my driveway trout fishing and kayak if you have one. I have a medium bike you can use.

Beautiful log cabin built in the early 1930’s and the front of the house used to be the bait shop. We have the biggest lot on the lake and the best view. In the winter, you can see Stone Mountain in the background. We have a large fire pit, a large metal kayak and a Jon boat. Our lake is fully stocked with largemouth, smallmouth bass and blue gills. Plenty of cool places to put a tent and we are up on a hill so no need to worry about floods. The Bait Shack has 1 bedroom with a queen bed and bunkbed that has a twin and full sized bed. Also a large couch in the living room and an air mattress under the bunk bed just in case. Our property was also used for two of T-Pain’s new music videos.

This cabin was the perfect mountain escape—quiet, tucked into a ravine, and surrounded by winding roads and beautiful views. We arrived late Friday, please note when arriving in the dark it may be a bit hard to find but for us it just added to the laughs. There was no signal out near the cabin, so it took a bit of teamwork, but we got it figured out.
Saturday was all about the outdoors: breakfast at Bear Necessities Café, then hiking Amicalola Falls (about 40 mins away, but again we appreciated the drive through the mountains and we're not rushed to do anything). We tackled the 425+ stairs at the falls, and tag-teamed carrying our dog, who absolutely refused the metal steps 😂. Sunday’s rain slowed things down in the best way—gold mine tour, incredible Mediterranean food at Pharaoh’s Feast, then soaking in the hot tub and ending each night with a campfire. Peaceful, cozy, and dog-friendly. Couldn’t ask for more.

We had such a wonderful stay at this cabin! It felt like a peaceful retreat tucked away in nature. The cabin was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully set up with all the amenities for a relaxing getaway. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to cook meals easily, the WiFi worked great, jacuzzi was a nice bonus and the cabin itself was spacious and comfortable. Can’t wait to go back!

The place was amazing! Everything you need in a camp site. The fire pit and picnic table were just right for meal time and roasting marshmallows. The outhouse was a nice feature for the ladies on the trip. The shelter really came in handy the last morning since it was raining. This place is for sure on our list of places to camp at again. Another great trip to the Cove! For anyone who comes right after us, we set up your first fire logs in the firepit. We brought our own firewood but you’ll find enough logs in the wood crib to do about two fires, plus the giant stumps that are great to prolong the fire if you can get one going. George also has a bale of pine straw in there which is super helpful to get a fire started. My whole review is about fires, can you tell it was cold while we were there haha! Saw several deer and hawks. Lots of stars and quiet.

I have to say, this was hands-down the best organized, cleanest, easiest, most amenity-laden cabin I’ve ever rented. So many details, from the embroidered robes to the bound book of instructions and recommendations. From the kitchen appointments to the coffee. There are really too many amazing little things to list here, but you could really tell the owners absolutely care about the experience their property provides. And we went panning for gold in the creek below the back deck and even found a little! It was incredibly comfortable and lots of fun. Just make sure you’re ok with stairs and aren’t too large to fit the spiral to the loft. I honestly cannot think of a single improvement to make. Didn’t even matter that it rained so much, because there was plenty left to do inside.

My husband, my two children, and I had an amazing time at the airstream! It felt decadent to have our very own hiking trails. It was remote enough to feel like we were really out in the middle of nowhere, the stars were so incredible because there was no light pollution.
The airstream itself was clean, well stocked, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We really enjoyed eating at the picnic table for all of our meals and toasting marshmallows. The outdoor shower was a hit with my husband and I, and because there was a little bathtub, my children were able to take a bath after a very dirty day outside.
We would really love to come back in the future and visit again! Highly recommend.

North Shore
The wooded north shore of Lake Lanier is dotted with sandy beaches, lakeside parks, and islands. Head to Little Ridge Park to hook a bass in Buford Dam, cruise out to explore Three Sisters Island from Two Mile Creek Park, or cool off with a swim at Mary Alice Beach.
South Shore
