Picnic table, fire pit and charcoal grill available pull through, campsite with minimal leveling for Rv’s, Property is down a gravel road a little bumpy and a few hills but doesn’t require 4 wheel drive, but helpful (Sometimes the road to paradise is a little bumpy)

These two lots are in a small, very quiet, clean, RV park. Both sites are fully paved. 62' long by 24' wide. There is a shared gazebo between the sites with table, chairs and fire pit. Little Savanna Creek runs immediately behind the sites and is stocked periodically with Rainbow, Brook, Brown trout. Full hookups. 20, 30, 50 amp. The physical address is 50 Timber leaf Dr. Sylva, N.C. 28779, but the sites are midway between Dillsboro and Franklin. N.C. just off 441/23. The area is famous for gem mining and a huge wholesale and retail gem show twice a year. Yes we are open year round. Nearby is Harrah's casino, Cherokee, (Unto these Hills) an outside nighttime production by Cherokee Indians. and a sightseeing train. Park rules: IF over 15 days: motorhome or 5th wheel, 30'+ only. This was a beautiful and wonderfully private campsite. My wife and I celebrated our 28th wedding anniversary here, and the views and quietness were superb. I would highly recommend to anyone who wants a private getaway. I will be reserving this site again in the future.

Weekend Trip to Turkey Creek Campground

Had a great stay at Turkey Creek Campground in October 2025 to see the leaves change in the mountains. It was the cleanest Campground we've ever stayed at, the bathrooms were impeccable. There's not much of a creek, but it is pretty close to some fantastic Rivers. Rick is an outstanding host, we had forgot our water hose, and he longest one no questions asked. Will definitely be staying there again five stars

It was a beautiful and private spot. Michael was a very communicative host and incredibly kind and helpful. Our car actually got stuck at the top of the gravel hill and Michael came to help pull us over the hill. (And just to add, it wasn't a bad road at all. Our Honda pilot is pulling a pop up camper and cargo storage on top, it was just too much for our car with the weight it was towing.) Would definitely recommend!

We loved our stay. The campsite is located on a beautiful lake that has almost no traffic. It a quiet and peaceful place to relax. Kayaking the lake with the kayaks available was so much fun. Michael was very responsive to all of our questions. Would definitely come back again!!

We stayed longer because we liked it very much here. Our host is a superstar. Very helpful and generous. Anytime again. We had two bokkings at the same site so here my second review. The town of silva is great and we found many gorgeous hiking trails from leisurly strolls along the river to challenging hikes to beautiful outlooks and along gorgeous waterfalls. In August the temperature was perfect. Cool 70s in the mornings for outdoor adventures. Everyone we met in town was super nice. Thanks John to make your spot available for us. A highlight of our trip.

John is super nice and a awesome host. The stay was great. Our host was a true pleasure to deal with. Thanks John for your patience, generosity, and grace. We had engine problems and had to postpone our arrival multiple days and multiple times. The site was clean and all paved with a nice large concrete slab. There was 30 and 50 amp hookup and water and sewer in the perfect location for us. A super nice family next door. There was a little bit of road noise during the day but nothing that would be a large nuisance. The park once had a clubhouse with fitness room and common gazebo area but that was private and fenced now. The location is better than expected. The town Silva has an adorable downtown with lots of breweries, restaurants and little quaint shops and boutiques. Fridays they have free life music at a stage near the river. The town is busy enough to have things happening without being crowded. We found some real nice hiking trails nearby and our pups enjoyed the adventures in the mountains very much. Summer is mild with much nicer temperatures as we are used to in Floridas summer. Mornings in the low 70s with daytime in the upper 80s. Loved everything about our stay.

The owners were wonderful hosts, they went above and beyond to make sure our stay was great. We caught small too medium size fish off the patio creek edge on the first day. There's an adjoining gazebo/patio between this and the next site. It's very nice with a fire pit as well. Across the creek there's a stand of trees with a road on the other side. There is some road noise, but not bad.

This place was so peaceful,so quiet and surine. Noone bothered nor disturbed us .Was great to let go,relax fish and just enjoy God's creations. Time to Release Lake pretty was great to unplug for a while. Will definitely go back .

Mike was awesome, embodied southern hospitality. When we arrived, I was concerned about low hanging limbs. Called Mike, and within 5 minutes he showed up with a pole saw and trimmed back low hanging limbs so my 13’ 5” Coach was able to easily pass once Mike trimmed back the limbs. Site was great with lake views and peaceful environment. We will return!
