Nearby are numerous towns, festivals, hiking trails, lakes, waterfalls, and other outdoor activities such as tubing, white water rafting, and boating. If you want to chill, you can check out a local swimming hole. We have several options for our guests at the farm, including a small zipline, farm activities, loop trail, spring trail, Saturday outdoor movies (on request), and our petting area where you can interact with very friendly goats. This is a stunning, single remote camper/RV site with water, electric and septic hook-ups, a hot tub, outdoor shower and breath-taking views of Whiteside Mountain and Black Rock Mountain. Our 19 acres on Brushy Mountain is nestled away in the Ellicott Rock Wilderness Area of the Nantahala National Forest, the largest of NC's four National Forests with over 500,000 acres of pristine wilderness. The famous Iron Bridge over the headwaters of the Chattooga River is just a short drive away down Bull Pen Road. You will find some of the best trout fishing and hiking trails in all of North Carolina at your doorstep. This temperate rain forest is enjoyable in every season and is exceptional in its ecological diversity and abundance. If you are interested in hiking to beautiful waterfalls, fishing in native trout streams, bird watching or star gazing, this is the place for you! And if you need supplies from town, Cashiers is the closest and is about 25 minutes away and Highlands is about a 45 minute drive. Both have great restaurants and shops to check out. Our gated, gravel driveway is steep and a half mile long. You will need an all-wheel or 4 Wheel drive vehicle to get up the driveway without spinning. There is ample space to turn around to park, but due to the nature of our driveway we limit the length of RV's to no more than 20 feet. My family and I stayed at campsite number one. The scenery is beautiful and the whole park is very clean and well laid out. We loved that there was a good amount of space and privacy between the sites. The creek is very soothing and beautiful. It was very convenient having seasoned firewood and fresh farm eggs available to purchase on site. The eggs were delicious and the chickens greet you every time you walk to the bathhouse. Speaking of the bath house it was very clean and the showers were nice and hot with plenty of water pressure. There is an ingles 11 minutes away to stock up on food. There is also a beautiful easy trail 6 minutes away called Tessentee bottomlands preserve. Adam was a very welcoming and attentive host. I would definitely suggest this campground for anyone looking to have a peaceful, private camping experience.

The host was incredibly helpful with any and all questions and I am thoroughly pleased with our stay. The best Hipcamp site I’ve experienced so far. We had a wonderful stay! The sites run along a large creek so the ambiance is perfect. Sites are clean with everything working properly and nicely spaced out. What we loved most is that there are many accessible approaches to the creek bed for our children to play and explore, plus large open fields for them to run some energy out. There is also a nice hike that takes you through the woods on the property. The hosts were out and about working on things, very friendly and accommodating. We will return.

Site 1 is beautiful. It sits right on the edge of the creek. The sounds of the water flowing over the rocks nearby were so peaceful. The property is quiet and well-maintained. The bathhouse was exceptionally clean, and the showers have fantastic water pressure. Owners are very nice and came out to say hello to us. Ten out of ten, and am already planning a return trip for the springtime.

We had an excellent time camping at Lil Snowbird Farm. The campsites were exceptionally clean and well kept. We stayed in site #6 along the river and it was just beautiful and felt very private! We enjoyed cooking over the campfire and eating at the picnic table. The host was amazing and ensured we had everything we needed. The camp toilets had their own small tent for privacy and even had small solar lights to help you find them in the dark. 10/10 would recommend camping here!

I ended up solo camping, although that wasnt the plan when I first booked. So of course, I was actually pretty nervous to drive 3.5 hours away from home alone and solo camp, but I did and I have zero regrets. I wouldn't choose a different spot for my first solo trip. Did everything go as planned? No. Did the site make up for it? Absolutely! The site is absolutely beautiful; see the photos I will be uploading. I felt so secluded, yet so safe the whole trip. The host, Andrew, is the coolest guy and easy to have a conversation with. He takes good care of these camping sites. FYI: There is ZERO cell phone coverage - so keep that in mind. I was glad to take a step back from my personal and work phone to be completely in the moment. Overall, I was super happy and proud of my camping spot. I will definitely be back this season. Hopefully I will be getting a 4x4 soon so I can check out the mountain spots!!

Andrew was so kind and hospitable! The campsite was clean, quiet, and serene. The river made for the perfect white noise at night. Make sure to have 4-wheel drive, as the site is down a very long dirt road. You won't have service once you are on the road, but that's one of the best parts of camping. One of our favorite HIPCAMP experiences to date!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had an absolutely amazing stay at this gorgeous campsite! It’s tucked well off the beaten path and was the perfect escape from the city—peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by nature. The creek was breathtaking in the morning with the sun hitting the water and a light layer of fog drifting across it. Even though there were other campers nearby, we felt completely secluded and didn’t hear a single peep from anyone. Our host was wonderful—stopped by on the first day just to make sure we had everything we needed and even delivered the firewood we ordered right to our site. And I have to say, the little potty house was exactly what I’d hoped for… one step above digging a hole and trying to balance a squat! 😂 Exactly the rustic-but-not-too-rustic vibe we wanted. We would 100% come back. Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking to unplug, unwind, and enjoy a gorgeous piece of nature. 🌿🔥⛺️

I have camped at Little Snowbird Farm a couple of times and it is an excellent spot for a quiet retreat. The campsites are well maintained and private. The drive into the site from Robbinsville is long, but some campers will like that to be off-the-grid. Andrew is a great host and I will be back. Highly recommend this spot!

4 nights at Secluded Waterfall Haven

We've been waiting for so long for our trip to Waterfall Heaven, and when our time to pack was getting closer, the weather was showing rain for the whole week we were supposed to be there... That was a little discouraging because we camp with 8 dogs and 2 crazy boys in a tent and I was worried everything will be way too wet and dirty and cold but I was not going to let this gem of a place go 😂 and what an amazing beautiful and serene place this spot is! The weather didn't matter, we had fun and the boys were in the water every day (even in 48°f), the dogs had so much space to run and sniff and explore and we even got a chance to do some activities in nearby towns (Stumphouse Tunnel in nearby city of Wallhala, SC and Foxfire Museum near the campsite was amazing)! What saved us was the fact we were able to put our 10x18 tent under the huge wooden gazebo right by the waterfall (you need to remove the tables first and they are heavy!) and that kept our tent dry inside and out. The cooking area under the smaller gazebo was perfect for us preparing meals in the rain (we've put one of the tables there and were able to stay dry while eating). The hike up the hill to see the bigger waterfall is worth the view and not having cellphone reception or internet at the campsite was the best break I secretly wished for 😂 We have another trip booked in March 2026 and I'm hoping I'll be able to also score a week in summer 2027! Thank you DeeDee for having us!
