We have a working farm with sweeping views of Lookout mountain and only 12 minutes from all the comforts of downtown Chattanooga. Our expansive 120-acre property provides campers with the freedom to choose their camping spots anywhere on the farm.
Farm animals include horses, cattle, hogs, chickens, goats, bees, stocked ponds, gardens and much more. We have strategically placed signs throughout the property to help you identify potential neighbors. If you desire the company of ducks, consider setting up camp near our picturesque duck pond. For those who prefer the rustic crowing of roosters to a phone alarm, we have four chicken coops dispersed across the farm. Our horses freely roam the front pastures. The cows enjoy grazing on lush grass and taking refreshing dips in the ponds. They also relish watching the sunset from the hill's vantage point, as it offers the best view on the farm.
We are a working farm with staff tending to various jobs throughout the day. We have a map to show where the camping site sits on the property. We intentionally leave some of our fields uncut. In some fields, the grass can come up above the knees. We leave that to the animals to take care of. All of our staff are super friendly and happy to help guide you to the best camping spot and answer any questions. In searching for your campsite please note that there may be livestock in and around certain areas as we rotate pastures.
Potable well water can be located from the blue spigot outside of the staff housing area, in between the orange and green tiny home, and outside the outdoor shower.

The unfurnished cabin is dry and clean. A huge upgrade from a tent (feel free to pitch your tents if you like)!
The bathhouse offers Hot showers, a flush toilet, and sink. (shower not available in winter months)
The open pole barn has a deluxe camping kitchen set up with pots and pans, a propane stove, a coffee maker, and a dishwashing sink. There is also a dining table and chairs.
While the property is close and convenient to Chattanooga, once you are enjoying the serene woods, shady trees, starry nights, and quality time with family and friends you will forget all about the city!
While there are no full-time residents on the property, there is a small functioning horse farm about 100 yards from the camping area. On most days the owner will stop by to care for the horses, and teach riding lessons.

For casual campers we have the Wooded Campsite which is easy to access, and for more experienced campers wanting a little more of a hike we recommend the Secluded Grove campsite. The land from bottom to top of the mountain is designed as a 5 part pilgrimage, and how high up the mountain you can get can be used to evaluate your spiritual and physical fitness. WLCC minister Aron. the campsite host is typically available for Guided pilgrimage hikes and if the weather cooperates, and if your party is tough enough, and doesn't mind a little scrambling and getting dirty, you can also see the mandala cliff cave which only maybe 1 in 5 groups make it to is true test of skill to get there to complete the final step of the pilgrimage. Most campers choose to self explore and there are many beautiful sights to see with trail going up the mountain, or you can just chill with the view of your campsite if you prefer. As you ascend Sand Mountain, the vegetation thins revealing spectacular views of Lookout Mountain especially in the fall & winter months after the leaves have fallen. At the very top of the property are 30+ ft high cliffs. There is a cliff cave that has a colorful collection of lichen growing in it and we have named it our 'Mandala cave', but access is subject to weather and requires Guide to access. If you enjoy bush craft, there is plenty of material for you to build a lean-to, tipi, or structure of choice. Trees range from poplar to multiple species of oak. Natural wildlife include deer, wild turkeys, scorpions, and ticks. Pets are welcome, and be advised we have a male cat who will likely hide if you bring dogs but won't bother you. If you need assistance minister Aron, campsite host lives on site in the custom earthbag parsonage, and is also available for earthbag building workshops and guided hikes for nominal donation of $5. All funds from hipcamp donations go to Whole Life Center Church s.s.m, the Freedom religion (wholelife.cc) for improving religious pilgrimage experience. Our church creed is Freedom is Universal. Through camping and nature you can experience God.

We had a wonderful stay at Sky High Ridge RV Campground! We stayed at Site 4, which offered much privacy - rare for a site with full hookups! It was so peaceful up on the mountain. Really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend and would love to visit again in the future!

This location was perfect for staying near Cloudland Canyon for hiking. It was quiet enough for me though the owner mentioned sometimes the animals are loud. I would rather hear animals over humans in a noisy campground any day so I wasn't bothered by them. I enjoyed the animals free roaming around my tent because they will come up and let you pet them. All were so sweet. The owner was awesome and let me help feed the baby cow one afternoon so I was beyond happy with my stay on the farm.

There is a real bathroom, and you’re literally sleeping with the farm animals. Our kids had such a blast and talk about it all the time. They were even able to bottle feed a baby cow! Absolutely the best camping trip we have ever been on. 30amp hookup, clean bathroom, grills, pavilions, fresh water hookups, electrical outlets in pavilions, and let’s not forget the waterfalls, the trail to the big falls, and the wading pools. There is just so much to enjoy and what makes it the most special place is that you can have it all to yourself.

We loved tent camping on the farm. Easy to get to, Janna was so nice and happy and welcoming when I called her to let her know we arrived, there were so many cute farm animals! There was pretty much always at least one animal by our tent site at all times, even at night you would see their shawdows walking by and hear them munching on grass. The tent site had plenty of room to spread out and it felt private, and it was near the bathroom. If you want to literally be in the middle of a farm, this is the place to do it!

We loved this site. It has everything you’d want in a perfect campsite. Horses, running water, a fully stocked kitchen, secure and private bath/shower, creeks and trails, multiple fire pits, cute fluffy kitty, electricity. We were so impressed with the custom touches and clever functionality of the kitchen and cabin. Perfect for a group. Oh… and bonus points for the tether ball.
