We know this property was previously a Cherokee trade post. Later, in 1852, the Tallulah Falls Railroad was started, running from Atlanta to Franklin, NC. This property once hosted the rail line between the Tallulah Falls and Lakemont stations. It was also involved in the Great Train Chase. We are only miles from filming locations for The Rough Riders and Deliverance. The area is rich in fascinating history. The property is also located near the beginning of the Appalachian Trail, just a short drive away.
