I did a lot of research for the surrounding area and picked this one for its privacy, price, proximity to the city. We were extremely happy with our decision. The privacy was our favorite part but the water, electric plug-ins, and tree cover made it comfortable.

Weekend Trip to Where Deer Run

Super great hosts, plenty of options on where to park. We choose the primitive area out back. Peaceful and quiet all night. We just boondocked, but did take advantage of the flushie toilet and the clean shower while we were there. We saw the full kitchen that was available, but did our own thing or back. Thank you very much.

Weekend Trip to Bohemian Freedom Park

Loved this spot! We were able to tent camp on their land and enjoy all of the sweet silly animals. Bobbi was so sweet and accomidating! During the day we went out on hikes in the nearby kissimmee prairie preserve state park and at night we laid out on the trampoline an looked at the stars (even saw a few shooting ones!).

Weekend Trip to River Ranch RV Resort

Very nice spot for quick getaway. My family enjoyed the ranch and the RV spot was wonderful. Large corner spot with fire pit, good patio furniture and even little swing that my sons used multiple times a day.

It was a tranquil, mostly quiet place to camp (aside from a neighbors music blaring off and on the first night and dogs barking) and honestly one of the cleanest horse farms I’ve ever been. We were grateful to have the bathroom and shower to use. Bring your own TP just in case :) No picnic tables available as listed but she brought us a pop up one. There wasn’t many campers to be seen, mostly the owners of the horses coming to take care and ride their horses which there were so many beautiful ones to meet! It was fun to meet the mini ponies too. I wish they offered horseback riding. Anne did give us info for a place that does. All in all a good stay and my 13yo daughter and her friend enjoyed it too.

It's a sweet funky spot off the beaten path. The hosts are so friendly and accommodating. An animal lover's gem; they have goat's, mini cows, pigs, chickens, horses, mini horses, donkeys, a water Buffalo, and emus! My children loved interacting with the friendly animals and floating on kayaks in the pond.

Second visit and will be back to this great site. Very private, and peaceful. Frank is a responsive host in case you need help. Thank you Frank! Bring water, toilet, and pack out your trash. Site has good WiFi and enough solar to keep your batteries charged from a 15 amp outlet. You will need a long 3 prong extension cord. There are sand trails for ATV and motorbikes on adjacent properties in the development. I saw several kayak fishermen on the lake reeling in a catch.

About the property Our property is near Kissimmee Prairie Preserve State Park and Lake Okeechobee. If you’re looking for places to visit for the day or services nearby, you can head to Okeechobee, which is only 20 min away. Lake Placid is only 40 min, Vero Beach is only 1 hr, and Melbourne is 1 hr 30 min. All of the listed locations offer great opportunities for fishing, hunting, swimming, and beach hangouts. Each of the sites allows for watching the livestock, hanging out at the watering hole, and sitting around the communal campfire. Our favorite things about our property are privacy, amenities, and all of the roaming mini livestock throughout the property! Your hosts do not live onsite however, will be available to you during your visit. We are friendly and as non-invasive as we can be. We do love meeting our guests and are available for any questions that come up.
