This property is called relic ranch because we have actually found a ton of old relics. the campground is under an ancient canopy of oaks. so youll always have shade. the center of the property is unique to say the least but the campground is nature at its finest. there is a 2.6 mile nature trail across from the campground to explore. also there is a boat ramp for fishing about 1/8 mile away. you are welcome to roam over most of the 80 acres. We have goats, cows and chickens as well. All super friendly.

We opened to the public on Labor Day 2014. Most people come to stay either in our rental cottage or in their horse trailers/RVs with their horses to ride the awesome trails in the 20,000+ acre adjacent Croom Forest. However, because our ranch is so peaceful, many stay here without horses just to enjoy the peace and quiet. There are many opportunities to recreate in the area, including outstanding mountain and road biking, OHVing, hiking, golfing, and canoeing/kayaking. Many full-time and working RVers stay for extended periods. Note that our camping area is small and intimate, so you will be close to other campers. We have 5 30-amp hookups, and 2 50-amp hookups; if you need 50-amp service, please request it. Note that a minimum of a 2-night stay will typically be required on weekends, especially during our busy season. WiFi is available, but we call it "Country WiFi" since it sometimes can be slow and may or may not be accessible from where you are parked; also, Verizon cell service in our area is terrible. If internet access is important to you, we suggest having your own hotspot or internet service (many working RVers have Starlink). Note that GPS can be very mean in our rural area; make sure your turn off Highway 50 is onto paved High Corner Road, which is 2 miles west of I-75 (if GPS tries to turn you down unpaved, dead-end roads, DO NOT LISTEN..you will get stuck!).

We opened to the public on Labor Day 2014. Most people come to stay either in our rental cottage or in their horse trailers/RVs with their horses to ride the awesome trails in the 20,000+ acre adjacent Croom Forest. However, because our ranch is so peaceful, many stay here without horses just to enjoy the peace and quiet. There are many opportunities to recreate in the area, including outstanding mountain and road biking, OHVing, hiking, golfing, and canoeing/kayaking. Many full-time and working RVers stay for extended periods. Note that our camping area is small and intimate, so you will be close to other campers. We have 5 30-amp hookups, and 2 50-amp hookups; if you need 50-amp service, please request it. Note that a minimum of a 2-night stay will typically be required on weekends, especially during our busy season. WiFi is available, but we call it "Country WiFi" since it sometimes can be slow and may or may not be accessible from where you are parked; also, Verizon cell service in our area is terrible. If internet access is important to you, we suggest having your own hotspot or internet service (many working RVers have Starlink). Note that GPS can be very mean in our rural area; make sure your turn off Highway 50 is onto paved High Corner Road, which is 2 miles west of I-75 (if GPS tries to turn you down unpaved, dead-end roads, DO NOT LISTEN..you will get stuck!).

And let's not forget, the more well-known attractions, Disney World and Universal Studios are also conveniently located about 45-60 minutes away. When you're ready to stock up on supplies, we're near gas stations and grocery stores (don't leave without trying the famous Publix subs). There are also coin operated laundry options near by. If you need it, there is a reputable RV tire and service company about 10 minutes away. Join us for a night, a few days, or even a week. We had a great stay at the Relic Ranch :-) Definitely a unique place with lots to explore. The campground area was perfect for us, very spacious and private with a good amount of distance between sites, plus the giant trees are absolutely gorgeous. The porta potties were probably the cleanest ones i've ever seen! If you venture towards the main property check out the goats, they are very friendly! Thanks again!

Highly recommend staying here. The site we stayed at was beautiful, the trees with the moss hanging from them and the vegatation around the site made it feel very woodsie, nice size site as well. Pretty neat stuff to gander at on the property. The host James is wonderful to communicate with! We have already booked another stay in January and we are very excited to go back! There are trails for walking, biking and horseback riding right next door. A highly recommended drive through nature trail about 15 minutes from the sight. Just remember, your in the woods, there ARE bugs and mosquitoes be prepared if you go during warmer nights

Wow…! My husband and I stayed here for 3 days over Thanksgiving and we absolutely loved it. Our campsite was secluded and beautiful, the portos were clean, and the owner is what makes this place a real gem. James is genuinely one of the most helpful and generous people I’ve met in Florida so far. We ran into some technical issues with our power station, and James helped us in every possible way — from letting us use his solar panels and generator to even helping us charge it at his house. He was attentive, responsive, and provided firewood whenever we needed (for a fee). We’re so grateful for everything he did, and we will 100% be back in the future. I highly recommend staying here. The only heads-up is that if you plan on using Starlink or similar setups, there isn’t the clearest sky view. We were able to get it working, and I was able to work, but there were some interruptions from tree cover — just something to be aware of.

Highly recommend. Sites were well spaced out and clean. Bathrooms were well maintained and trash regularly emptied. Sites had electric and good water. Most sites had fire pits and there were group firepits and seating. The grounds were amazing. 170 acres with a lot of paths to explore. Very nice fresh spring fed creek with sandy bed which led to the Alaska River. Would definitely return and stay again.

The campsite was beautiful and the motion sensor solar lights were an awesome help at night. The tree cover keeps the campsites cool and shady. They have lots of cool things to see. The kids loved seeing the animals and being able to explore the camground freely. I would also recommend visiting wakiva springs while youre in the area!

My family and I LOVED tent camping at Cedarkirk’s land!! The hosts were super kind and accommodating. They let us switch from Site 2 to Site 3 which right next to each other since Site 3 was a little bigger than Site 2 plus Site 3 had a pre-made pit already which my husband and I wanted and liked. Site 2 had a grill to use though. The sites all had a water faucet thing which was so convenient. The sites are all pretty close together but even with that we still felt we had our privacy. The property was so beautiful and full of activities and trails. We did the Sands and Swamp Trail. We would have loved to do the kayaking/canoeing. Next time hopefully. We loved that the site had bathrooms and showers for use. The bathroom in relation to Site 3 was a short walk away. Not bad at all. I was able to quickly walk there with a toddler each time. The woods were super quiet at night to the point you can hear the trees whisper. This easily turned into our best camping trip yet and already said we’d come back!! We’re trying to get my mom and sister and her family to join us next year. Such a unique and good vibes spot. I will definitely recommend Cedarkirk to anybody! I’m thinking of different way this spot can be utilized.

Weekend Trip to Sandy Bottom River Retreat
Great camping site tucked away in the woods but still close enough to stores if additional supplies are needed. The river was amazing! We sat with our chairs in the river and enjoyed the cool water. The host was spectacular and very clear with the communications. Would highly recommend!!

4 nights at Sandy Bottom River Retreat
This was a great trip! We had the place to ourselves for the most part. This was the first time primitive camping for the wife and 3 kids and a great spot to disconnect from everyday life. The cameras pointed at the campsites was a little uncomfortable, but we were able to setup behind them so we knew we weren’t being watched constantly. At night time on the weekends, the next door property had atv’s running and big guns shooting till 3am. So having good ear plugs is necessary. During weeknights, the atv’s and guns are not going. Definitely would go back again.
