My husband and I fell in love with Port St. Joe, FL on our anniversary, it was our first visit and long distance RV trip. We had such a wonderful time that we scheduled another trip right away and brought our kids and 4 of our dogs!! Needless to say they all loved it! Truly Paradise!
One day our daughter was on the beach playing and found a Blue Crap:)
she got a little to close and Mr. Crab chased her snapping his claws, she ran laughing and screaming, it was so much fun!
We had such a great time and shortly after we were blessed to be able to purchase this beach front lot that is now called The Crab Claw'.

Conveniently located in a beautiful setting that is 2 miles from Waterstreet downtown with many restaurants to choose from including waterfront dining, fresh seafood, and many unique places to shop along the waterfront. Apalachicola is a golf cart friendly town. We have a Yamaha gas powered golf cart for rent at $65 daily if you would like to enjoy a close up of the town. There are many things to do in Apalachicola such as spending the day on the beautiful white sandy beaches of St. George Island. You can book a guided fishing trip or book a trip on an airboat and tour the wetlands! Port St. Joe is a close 25-30 minute drive where you can book a sunset horseback ride right on the beach beside the ocean. There are endless places to explore in town and the surrounding areas…the lighthouse in Carrabelle as well as places to explore in Cape San Blas and Indian Pass.

This was a great spot, really close to Apalachicola and St George Island. The dock and bay were absolutely beautiful and we enjoyed fishing and catching crabs off the dock. The site was nice and level and the utilities worked well. There is also a covered patio area that came in handy for the rain/sun. We'd definitely stay again!

We had a fantastic time at Amanda’s spot with a dock. Lots of wide life in the area too. Saw dolphins, caught all kinds of fish and watched the resident eagle. Even got to see the Space Station pass over one clear night! Highly recommend and will be back. Close bike ride to downtown Apalachicola too!
