This is our favorite place to stay and we have grown fast friends with the neighbors. We are going to try to get out there as much as we can before it sells. Thanks Syvie as always for having us!

Always love coming here. We take care of the land as if it were our own and consider it our home away from home. The neighbors have become dear friends of ours and we will be sad once the property sells because we will have to look for a new spot. Thanks again Sylvie! We will be back in a few weeks!

We always have such a wonderful time on Sylvie's property. We saw a gator on our last morning there. He was a little guy but just be aware when fishing from the bank. Our dogs love the property as well because it is safe and fully fenced in. Perfect spot to relax and listen to nature in the evenings.

We had such a relaxing time at wewa.
Very nice space with washer and dryer and kayaks available. We didn’t leave but it’s close enough to towns and the beach for a quick trip. The neighbor was very nice and offered us some ice as her and her husband had a bbq place and they kept the commercial ice maker.
We are looking forward to going back when it’s not so hot, but the evenings cooled off nicely.
Oh and we got some great bird watching in from the concrete pad.

This was our second visit here!! Other than it being ridiculously HOT (which obviously Sylvie has no control over, haha) it was an absolutely perfect holiday weekend!! Our dogs throughly enjoyed running around in the evenings and hung out in the shady sandy corner during the day. Such a peaceful spot to spend a relaxing weekend! We will be back!!

This is our 7th stay and our home away from home. We absolutely love Sylvie's property and the fully fenced in yard to keep our dogs safe. Please be careful fishing down by the bank. There are two gators, one 10 footer and one 4 footer and the 10 footer is staying closer to shore. Also fellow Hipcampers, please remember to leave no trace and leave the property better than you found it. We definitely appreciate Sylvie sharing her beautiful property with us. We will be back! 😊

The site has everything you could need to be comfortable there’s a refrigerator, washer dryer grill, additional pieces, a kayak with paddles and lifevest. The deck is nice the concrete slab even if you are tent camping makes for a nice place to convene. The fire pit is perfect. Plenty of wood provided The views are incredible. The neighbors are there but you don’t really see them there’s other sounds around but they’re very soft. We went out kayaking in the swamp and it was gorgeous. I’ll bet the fishing is good as well. We just weren’t prepared this visit so we’ll have to come back , so we made it easy to get to the site as well kept it’s absolutely beautiful and sunrise this morning took my breath away

Although we had rain the time we were there, the property was great for us. Finding a place that was fenced in was perfect for our dogs. They certainly were happy to run around in any weather. I am sure when it is warmer, you can have great fun there kayaking and exploring.

What an amazing place for an extended stay. Very private with all amenities, and we really started to feel at home here. Full hookups, washer/dryer, and a lovely patio. The neighbors are extremely friendly and helped make us feel safe. In 30 minutes, you can be in Panama City or Port St Joe. Our dog loved the fenced in yard. Our personal Starlink had clear sight lines for a strong signal. We will most certainly be back!

Sylvie's land is our go to spot for rest and relaxation. We really love spending time here and we love the little town of Wewahitchka. The dogs also love this spot as they get to run around offleash. It is safe, well equipped with full hookups, a level slab for our camper and quiet. Thanks again Sylvie for another relaxing stay!

We could not have asked for a better place to stay while visiting Wewa. Site had a nice view of the lake, fully fenced yard for the pups. Nice lounge seating with solar lights at night. Free use of washer and dryer to clean our clothes before heading home.
We even saw an Eagle the first morning we were there.
Sylvie was very responsive to messages and truly has a wonderful slice of paradise here.

This is our 2nd stay on Sylvie's land. We loved it so much and it's so close to us we had to go back! Sitting outside listening to nature to reset from the rat race is absolutely priceless and we cannot thank Sylvie enough for sharing her property with us. Our dogs love it too! If you are looking for an amazing property to camp on with a fully fenced in yard this is it. ❤️

Directions through GPS were easy and led us right to the camp site. Sylvie has the yard set up so pretty and we loved all of the little touches! The property lit up at night is absolutely gorgeous. She is also a great commuicator and checked on us during our stay. There is a washer and dryer on site for guest use if needed which was an added plus! 50 amp service only which wasn't a problem because we carry a dog bone adapter in our camper. The camp site is fully fenced which we loved because we knew our dogs would be safe. We did see a 10 foot gator early in the morning so use caution down at the water's edge. We kept our dogs within the fence perimeter and did not allow them access to the water. There is fishing right on the property and we caught some small mouth bass. The neighbors are really nice and came out to greet us. This property is quiet and we loved listening to the sounds of nature. We also loved going into town to explore. Everyone is so friendly and we found one of the best thrift stores we have been to in a while! Since this spot is so close to us we hope to go back soon! It doesn’t get better than this site. It is very private in a unique and beautiful lake - ideal for kayaking. The site has had everything you would want and need - plenty of private space, quiet, cute porch, starry nights and views. There are stores very close by and some of the most beautiful beaches in Florida within 30 minutes. We will be back to the wewa site as often as we can. Highly recommend
