My wife and I stayed on this very spot in January 2020 and fell in LOVE with it! Being relative newbies to RVing, we wanted something private but also wanted a beach front vacation without spending 5K for a house. So, we decided to start searching. Turns out, there isn't a whole lot of RV hookup spots right on the beach. But, we ran across this lovely privately owned gulf front lot on Cape San Blas in Florida and stayed for a week that January. We loved it so much we tried to book it again in May of that year, but it was of course booked the entire month. So, we booked another spot and headed to the cape in May anyway. We wanted to see our favorite spot again, so we drove by one day and low and behold, it was for sale. We couldn't pass up an opportunity to own something we fell in love with so quickly, so we took the jump, and bought it! And now, we can share it with all of you. Treat yourself to a beach front vacation in your own "home" and enjoy the journey friends. You only live once!

Ed and Bernices fish camp is located st 15810 NW county road 120. Hosford, Florida 32334. We kept the name of the camp. It is a historical site and has a long history. Everyone in this small community has stayed or put their boat in at this camp one time or another. We look forward to you visiting and enjoying your stay. Come and check it out.Learn more about this land:You'll have beautiful scenery! You'll be in the middle of The Ochlockonee river and forest. Plenty of hiking and natural walks, take a walk to the big sand bar to go for a swim. You'll find otters, birds, and gators surrounding you. A real Old Florida getaway! Find woods, wild life in a secluded location. Close to I10 to commute to the surrounding towns for great restaurants, etc.

Spent the month of February at this gem by the beach.
It was nearly perfect. The weather in February has some cooler days.
This is the 4th spot we've rented in Port St Joe, and it's our favorite.
The beach access can't be beat.
The location isn't on a through street, so traffic is nonexistent.
We had a question, and the owners responded immediately.
Great folks to rent from, and we will be going back for sure!

Great location with easy access to dog-friendly beaches! Nice neighbors. The lot and screened room were in good repair with full hookups for our 28ft trailer. Easy to back in and set up. We'll be back!

Maggie and Mike are spectacular hosts going to extra mile when you stay. They are musicians so I was fortunate enough to turn up when they had a concert on in their yard. The provided food and refreshments.
Very helpful and thoughtful people. We had great conversations about food and swapped a curry I made for some fresh honey from their hives.
Leto could go off leash and the site is easy to enter and exit. Would recommend staying here to anyone in the area.

What a lovely place to unwind! We stayed two nights and pretty much had the run of the place. We opted for full hook ups as we have been on the road for several days. We loved the proximity to the welcoming pole barn which had a gathering spot, FREE washer and dryer (tips encouraged), grill for use, and bath house with a spacious shower. Our dogs loved being off leash and we enjoyed the trails around the property. Be aware, if you have dogs with high prey drives or poor recall-be wary about being off leash as there are free roaming chickens. We appreciated Andrew's hospitality and he even offered us some free fresh eggs which we graciously accepted. The owner William was not on-site, but was very communicative over the app.
Only points to mention-if using the washer, you must set it to cold as it does not have hot water. Many of the presets will automatically choose a higher heat and it will seem like its working but then it will glitch and say "balancing." Just manually change to cold and you are all set! Also, the map indicates two water features, a creek and a spring. These paths were not as clear as we thought they might have been. We only found one of the two, and had to pass under a fallen tree to reach it. Hope that helps any other explorers!

We truly enjoyed our month-long stay at John’s property in the Allanton area of Panama City, Florida. The location is quiet and remote — a refreshing change from crowded, noisy RV resorts. Shopping and everyday conveniences were about a 30-minute drive, which we didn’t mind at all given the peaceful setting. The sunrises and sunsets were absolutely picture-perfect. John was very responsive and accommodating, especially when we needed to extend our stay for a few extra days. We would definitely stay here again.

The site is a single space in the host's backyard about 4-5 blocks from the beach with a view of trees / wildlife and it included all of the advertised amenities. We found public access to the beach that allowed dogs less than 5 miles away. We stayed for 2 weeks in January. The Internet was spotty, but we were hitting it hard (2 people working remotely M-F). We saw many birds (I spotted my first great horned owl) and several deer wandered through the site. The stars were incredible. We would definitely choose this site again, especially when the weather is a bit warmer.

Beautiful, peaceful spot with a countryside feel. The hosts are welcoming and the location is very convenient for going to the beach and doing other activities in the surrounding area. The hot tub is a really nice little bonus!

Maggie’s Place was perfect. I met Maggie personally and she was so warm and inviting. I loved my stay and would definitely stay again. The bathrooms were wonderfully clean, and the little kitchen area was a great bonus for tent camping. If you’re looking for a neat, unique place to stay, this is it!

Enjoyed seeing all of the goats! The hostess was friendly and welcoming. She accommodated my requests, and offered me lots of peace and quiet. A rustic property in a pretty rural setting...just "What the Dr ordered!" I met another guest who was so friendly, and inviting. I enjoyed the comfortable space in the Workshop, set aside for reading, with comfortable couches, good lighting, and warmth... especially since I was traveling in very cold temps. Dead Lakes was so peaceful, and beautiful! Just enough outdoor lighting to find your way, but no so much as to interfere with stargazing! We were able to peacefully car camp, with access to bathrooms at all hours. The bathrooms were clean, and well stocked! The property was just beautiful!!
