Tent camping with our two dogs in November. The site had a fire pit (sand with some cinderblocks) that fit our needs; brought our own wood. Toilet was close to site, site was clean and private. Bring bug spray. Goats were cool and property dog “Pete” was nice.

Tent camping here was beautiful. The trees are beautiful pines which the owner took the care to save when the property was being built. The trees are very thankful for this energy and in kind or protecting the land. As a woman sleeping alone, I felt completely safe in my tent and this beautiful yard looking at the water. The hosts are so kind hearted. This is really a good place For spending time with nature while still in a city’s drive

Gia’s hipcamp was amazing! The tent spot was in the back of the property closer to the lake. It was level, quiet and having access to a potty and a shower were A+ additions. Gia was also very accommodating at taking me in late when I buggered up on my previous hipcamp booking. If I lived closer, I would definitely visit more often. Loved this spot! We were able to tent camp on their land and enjoy all of the sweet silly animals. Bobbi was so sweet and accomidating! During the day we went out on hikes in the nearby kissimmee prairie preserve state park and at night we laid out on the trampoline an looked at the stars (even saw a few shooting ones!).

It was a tranquil, mostly quiet place to camp (aside from a neighbors music blaring off and on the first night and dogs barking) and honestly one of the cleanest horse farms I’ve ever been. We were grateful to have the bathroom and shower to use. Bring your own TP just in case :) No picnic tables available as listed but she brought us a pop up one. There wasn’t many campers to be seen, mostly the owners of the horses coming to take care and ride their horses which there were so many beautiful ones to meet! It was fun to meet the mini ponies too. I wish they offered horseback riding. Anne did give us info for a place that does. All in all a good stay and my 13yo daughter and her friend enjoyed it too.

1 night at ASHBY ACRES FARM

Camping at the horse farm with my daughter was such a peaceful escape. We explored and enjoyed the beauty of the horses. The stars and moon were incredible. We’d do it again!
