Weekend Trip to Jack's Landing-Old Florida +Pool!

My first time doing hipcampers and it was perfect.Safety was my main concern but that concern was ease when I met Quintin and his wonderful wife. They are wonderful host. If your looking for a beautiful campsite for peace and quiet this is the place to go. I will be back to visit with Family and friends .🤗🥰

Weekend Trip to Camp Mack

Nice spacious lots. Clubhouse with swimming pool. You can bring your golf cart or side by side. They have airboat rides, restaurant and store with reasonable prices, ice $3.

Weekend Trip to Jack's Landing-Old Florida +Pool!

Wow! What an experience! The oak recolonization on this lakeside lot is so beautiful. The weather this time of year is perfect in the evening (though a bit warm in the day). You might not expect it, but despite all of the growth to the north along the I-4 corridor, it's pretty much dark-sky country to the south, so the stars can be beautiful; got some great pictures we wish we could post here. The neighborhood seemed mostly quiet, but there were a few "monster" trucks passing by on the road up the hill from time to time. Would definitely stay again.

Weekend Trip to Camp Margaritaville Auburndale

My husband and I stayed here for our first RV trip and we loved it. Just one night while we drive up north. The place is super clean with beautiful plant gardens around each RV spot. The staff also welcomed us in the most friendly and professional way. We brought our two dogs and let them explore the dog park area too. We would definitely stay here again and I highly recommend the place to anyone else needing a nice place to stay for a night or many nights! :)

Loved our experience at Oak Hammock Resort. Well maintained, good space and very peaceful. The camp also has great access and views of Lake Pierce. Will definitely return.

3 nights at The Overlook for families

The host was very communicative and helpful. Lodging unit was clean and comfortable with rather spacious layout. Simple, safe. Only issue was located on a busy road so plenty of road traffic (earplugs needed). Location was easy to navigate to town, lakes, etc.

4 nights at Lake Huntley Oasis - Pvt Dock -Acre

Second visit and will be back to this great site. Very private, and peaceful. Frank is a responsive host in case you need help. Thank you Frank! Bring water, toilet, and pack out your trash. Site has good WiFi and enough solar to keep your batteries charged from a 15 amp outlet. You will need a long 3 prong extension cord. There are sand trails for ATV and motorbikes on adjacent properties in the development. I saw several kayak fishermen on the lake reeling in a catch.

Very nice park. We had premium pull-thru site #94 which had a perfect view of the Bald Eagle Preserve where a family had a nest in a tall tree. We saw at least 4 Eagles in that tree regularly so that was wonderful. Several pools to choose from and plenty of food options as well. We had the pork nachos one afternoon and they were excellent! Friendly staff, very clean and well maintained park.

Great spot, easy to access Got in at night and was easy to find. Hands off experience and was really pretty overlooking the water

2 nights at Oak Hammock Resort

The location was awesome, we spent a day at Bok Tower, and afternoon naps on the hammocks overlooking the lake. Oh, and enjoyed both sunrises and sunsets over the beautiful lake. Our site was tight, but not a problem for us. Bath house was very nice.

Beautiful place!!! Very clean sites. Lots of room between sites. Each site has small Astro turf pad and pavers with new picnic tables. Staff is very friendly and lots of entertainment throughout the day and evening . They made accommodations to have activities in the pavilion due to the extreme cold weather the week we were there . Will definitely come me back!

Jack's Landing features 3 tent sites, 2 van or RV sites (under 30'), a primitive, unique outdoor solar gravity shower, port-a-potty, common fire pit area, and 2 kayaks for use on Star Lake. We also an offer efficiency apartment in our home with separate entrance. Our swimming pool is available daily from Noon until 7 PM. Located about 1 hour from Orlando attractions and 1 hour from Tampa Bay. 20 minutes to Legoland. Minutes from the Peace River and many great State Parks. 15 minutes to a couple of great breweries, restaurants and grocery options. Property is undergoing restoration to native conditions for the past quarter century from former orange groves. Sites and paths are adjacent to our 1919 farmhouse which has been the site of various supernatural encounters (to include Jack himself!). We pride our property on the natural habitats and ecosystems unique to central Florida. You may encounter species including marsh rabbit, armadillo, opossum, red fox, gopher tortoise, bald eagle and many other birds at the expansive lake front. It is VERY possible to meet or see resident alligators near the lake - Please use the lake and shore areas carefully, respectfully and at your own risk!
