If you don’t need it, just skip down to the “About us” section. Our property is located in the Sailfish capital of the country in the heart of Historic Port Salerno/Stuart Florida. World class deep sea fishing, boating, and some of the finest seafood restaurants on the east coast are less a mile away. We’re just 5 miles from downtown Stuart on the Inland waterway that offers a lovely walkable downtown where you will find a theater, unique art studios, interesting and unique craft and clothing shops, and numerous restaurants offering everything from vegan and vegetarian options, to pizza, steak, and local seafood. If you’re looking for fast food franchises in the downtown areas, you’ll need to look elsewhere! Only 11 miles from Jonathan Dickinson State Park. Daily excursions are available from the launch site to the infamousTrapper Nelson’s hideaway. A must do for adventurous types who appreciate legends and creative off grid living. ABOUT US: This Camp Site is on a 1/2 acre, owner occupied property and located in a beautiful, open, quiet neighborhood setting. It offers a natural walking path with several foot bridges around the lake. Our property has very easy accessibility to all major roads including interstate 95. Our camp sites provide a peaceful stay while still being close to all you seek. This location makes for a great stop over or destination spot. Guests will wake in the morning to the lovely site and peaceful sounds of the mostly year round residents including pileated and red-bellied woodpeckers, vultures, raccoons, egrets, ibis, hawks, quaker parrots, herons, bluejays, grackles, crows, lizards, mourning doves, gray squirrels, owls, hawks, and occasional sightings of iguanas and turtles. Nights tend to be dark and quiet with minimal traffic noise. We are pet friendly provided your pet is too! Again, this is in a quiet, neighborhood type setting, just a bit off the beaten path. It was a tranquil, mostly quiet place to camp (aside from a neighbors music blaring off and on the first night and dogs barking) and honestly one of the cleanest horse farms I’ve ever been. We were grateful to have the bathroom and shower to use. Bring your own TP just in case :) No picnic tables available as listed but she brought us a pop up one. There wasn’t many campers to be seen, mostly the owners of the horses coming to take care and ride their horses which there were so many beautiful ones to meet! It was fun to meet the mini ponies too. I wish they offered horseback riding. Anne did give us info for a place that does. All in all a good stay and my 13yo daughter and her friend enjoyed it too.

We had a lovely, large patch of grass and a short walk to a flush toilet and shower. So good camping. But the best part is that this is a working horse farm with SO many horses, some in stalls and some in pastures and all beautiful to watch. We loved being there. Bring your own water for drinking.

Gia was a fabulous host! We were able to park in a mostly shaded area. Her yard was full of sustainable trees with a beautiful view of the small lake, which you could walk around. The breeze was wonderful. She had many suggestions as to where we should go within a bike ride distance. The dead end road made for a quiet night. We loved the peaceful, easy feeling we got staying there. Namaste, Gia and Eleen. We will be back!!
