Don't stay in the middle of another loud, packed campground. Enjoy the peace and quiet that only comes from staying in a quiet rural setting with absolutely NO other campers onsite. At Koblasz Farms, the value is in the privacy. You get the property to yourself, guaranteed. Walk with the animals. Talk with the animals. Koblasz Farms is one of the few farms remaining in Seminole County, and the only breeder of registered Scottish Highland Cattle. These beautiful girls are part of the oldest registered breed of cattle in the world. They will take your breath away as they mingle in your surrounding pastures. If you are lucky, you may even see one born. Few things in life are cuter than Scottish Highland calves, unless you ask the mini-donkeys or the goats that will do their best to convince you otherwise. Feeding experiences available. And wildlife abounds. You can expect to see deer, wild turkeys, eagles, hawks, cormorants, cranes, turtles, and other wildlife. We are conveniently located 40 minutes from Disney, an hour from Daytona Beach, 50 minutes from New Smyrna Beach, and 20 minutes from downtown Orlando. We are also minutes away from parks for hiking, picnicing, kayaking and canoeing on the Little Wekiva River including the Wekiva River State Park, Katie's Landing, and Wekiva Landing.

Pack your camping gear, tents, vans or RVs and find peace away from the traffic and everyday stress. There is plenty of nature and you can take a long stroll to clear your head. Mount Dora is across the main street less than 5 minutes away. Our antique town is an amazing experience to explore with lots of history and complete with quaint shops and restaurants, boating and lots of things to do. Rennigers Antique Center is located right up the street (less than 5 minutes away) for some great picking. We are conveniently close to the Central Florida Attractions and the beach on both east and west coasts within an hour drivep. We offer youth day camps on various dates, pony rides and a tour of our farm animals for an additional fee. Reservations required in advance due to the other activities we have going on. In 2007, we had no idea where this adventure was going to take us. Our small urban farm was sharing our miniature animals with assisted living facilities and Neulife, where we have 3 miniature horses that live on their property. Little by little we have evolved into more of a need to share with the community and help others with the relaxing qualities our farm and animals have to offer, we want to be able to share and better educate with hands on experiences, teach kindness, patience, confidence and help others to be the best they can be. The property is definitely different then most. The site itself is super spacious, and has great tree coverage from some ancient oaks. the site can hold up to an extra 5 tents if neened. There is solar power to the tee pee with a 750w solar inverter connected to two deep cycle batteries. Now to get to the site you have to go through the main busy part of the property (we literally have planes, trains and automobiles and more). But once you get to the site you feel the nature. Also right next to the property about 100 yd from where the property starts there is an entrance to a boat ramp (which has a 2 mi canal that goes to lake Apopka where you can launch a canoe or kayak, or do some fishing), also a 2.6 mi nature trail, and about 100 yd as well there is a 25 mile trail that you can bike, walk or horseback ride. That trail is a part of the Apopka wildlife drive which also starts not far from the property. It's a free nature drive on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays plus holidays. We are around 15 to 20 minutes from a few different springs such as wekiva springs, wekiva Island, Rock springs and Kings landing. We are about 45 minutes from SeaWorld, aquatica, volcano Bay, universal studios and more.

Hey guys! As avid campers and adventure seekers ourselves, we know how important safe (and cost effective) space for a night or two is. That’s why we decided to offer a corner of our own rural paradise - amongst the mature oaks, blooming magnolias and palms. We have just under 7 acres with plenty of yard to share. It’s pretty basic space without a lot of amenities (yet), but we know you’d love it here. Our pricing reflects our humble start and we invite you to park your RV, pop open your tent and make yourself at home. A few things you can expect… ~Wherever you decide to set up camp, we will provide a picnic table, trash can and fire pit with wood. ~We are super pet friendly so bring your furry family members and we will ensure they’re safe and comfortable as well. ~There is access to water from the main house. ~ Electricity can be provided depending on how close you set up to the house. WiFi as well. ~ We do have a chicken coop so you can expect to hear them throughout the day. ~ We are on a dead end road in a rural residential area. Super quiet! ~ Pit potty in a super cute Outhouse. ~ If you stay during the month of March, you will adore our lightening bugs! ~ Tons of mature trees so bring your hammocks. ~ We are on site and available to you when needed. Forgot bug spray or need a band-aid? We got you! Need a board game, yard game or puzzle? We got those too! ~ Want total privacy? That’s ok too! Watch us grow and come back as our offerings grow too. Where to go

Wekiwa Springs State Park

Take time to explore over 40 miles of nature trails in Wekiwa Springs State Park by hiking, biking, or even horseback riding among the oak trees and spotting wildlife along the banks of Rock Springs Run and the Wekiwa River. Look for everything from belted kingfishers and ospreys to river otters and aquatic turtles. Swimming, canoeing, and kayaking the emerald springs are other popular activities. To really get away from it all, consider setting up at a primitive campsite in one of the more remote areas.

Blue Spring State Park

Over 700 West Indian manatees flood Blue Spring State Park every winter thanks to ongoing protection efforts. Here, limestone aquifers bubble up to feed the St. Johns River and create a warm and comfortable environment for the grazing sea cows. Observe the creatures in their natural habitat from boardwalks and observation decks, then dive into the water for summer snorkeling, scuba diving, and inner tubing. Hipcampers can select from a full range of camping options including primitive tent campsites, cabins, and RV sites with full hookups, plus amenities like fire rings and picnic tables.

Lake Monroe Park

Campers don’t need to go far from Sanford to discover a little slice of nature’s sanctuary. Set on the shores of the lake for which it is named, Lake Monroe Park is both right in the heart of town and miles away from the everyday. With both tent and RV camping options, there’s easy access to miles of biking trails, including the scenic Sanford RiverWalk running along the lakeshore. The lake itself offers attractive largemouth bass fishing year-round, as well as the chance to catch black crappies, bluegill, and massive channel catfish. If the fish elude your lure, historic Sanford’s local restaurants are mere minutes away.

When to go

Florida summers can be very hot and humid, not to mention that it’s also hurricane season. The mosquitoes can be a nuisance, as well. The rest of the year may be a more comfortable choice for camping near Sanford. Spring weather is especially pleasant, adorning park areas with wildflower displays. For manatee viewing, high season runs from November to April, peaking between December and February. Check with local parks and campgrounds for seasonal closures or reduced hours, as water activities may be restricted during manatee season.
