We are conveniently close to the Central Florida Attractions and the beach on both east and west coasts within an hour drivep. A few Campers favorite places to visit are Mount Dora Bike Trail - 2.6 miles, Kelly Park - 11 miles and Kings Landing 12 miles from farm. We offer youth day camps on various dates, pony rides and a tour of our farm animals for an additional fee. Reservations required in advance due to the other activities we have going on. In 2007, we had no idea where this adventure was going to take us. Our small urban farm was sharing our miniature animals with assisted living facilities and Neulife, where we have 3 miniature horses that live on their property. Little by little we have evolved into more of a need to share with the community and help others with the relaxing qualities our farm and animals have to offer, we want to be able to share and better educate with hands on experiences, teach kindness, patience, confidence and help others to be the best they can be. Most people come to stay either in our rental cottage or in their horse trailers/RVs with their horses to ride the awesome trails in the 20,000+ acre adjacent Croom Forest. However, because our ranch is so peaceful, many stay here without horses just to enjoy the peace and quiet. There are many opportunities to recreate in the area, including outstanding mountain and road biking, OHVing, hiking, golfing, and canoeing/kayaking. Many full-time and working RVers stay for extended periods. Note that our camping area is small and intimate, so you will be close to other campers. We have 5 30-amp hookups, and 2 50-amp hookups; if you need 50-amp service, please request it. Note that a minimum of a 2-night stay will typically be required on weekends, especially during our busy season. WiFi is available, but we call it "Country WiFi" since it sometimes can be slow and may or may not be accessible from where you are parked; also, Verizon cell service in our area is terrible. If internet access is important to you, we suggest having your own hotspot or internet service (many working RVers have Starlink). The grounds were lovely and peaceful; animals were fun to watch during the day and quiet at night. Hosts were welcoming and then gave us privacy. Highly recommended - I hope to stay again.

Weekend Trip to Tangerine Hideaway

We had a great time camping with our tent in a last minute reservation. The site was private, spacious, and wooded. The outdoor shower had hot water and was really well done. The communication was great from the moment I made the reservation! Great location, under 15 minutes to Mt. Dora and King’s Landing.

This was our first time staying under the pavilion and it was great. As always the ranch was welcoming and clean. Lucky u are fabulous hosts. Each day we were able to pet and feed the horses and donkeys. We were so fortunate that the goats just had kids.

Weekend Trip to Camp Wild Fern

Very beautiful, large camp spot. Lots of oak trees and ferns of course. Ragan was very friendly and gave us privacy. The site is close to the house just an FYI, but we had no issues with that. They provided a fire pit, nice bench seating and a picnic table. Bathroom was very clean and potable water nearby too.

Definitely served our needs. Dona was easy to communicate with and the place was quaint and in a peaceful farm setting. The main bed was comfortable. The pullout perhaps less so, so maybe bear that in mind if you’re trying to sleep 4. But otherwise, found the place charming and wish we had more time for a farm tour.

We thoroughly enjoyed ringing in the New Year at Spotted Dance Ranch! Kym & John were wonderful hosts. They have a lil slice of paradise to share and it is oh so peaceful. They have 7 full hook ups for RV and a cute lil cottage on-site available for rent as well. We will definitely return in the very near future! Thank you both for sharing your ranch via Hipcamp!

2 nights at Family Farm Close to Everything!

Loved staying here so much. What a beautiful place. The animals were all so sweet and well cared for and clearly happy. The farmhands were wonderful. Margarita was wonderful and accommodating to my requests to change my stay (I was moving - problems arose). I am new to having a motorhome and Rob went above & beyond to help me figure it out. He's great. I wish I could've stayed longer to experience the misty morning field again, with the animals revealing as the mist evaporated with the sunrise. So very, very beautiful. Only thing - Wifi needs an extender; doesn't have range enough to be useful in current location without one.

Rob and Mike were fantastic hosts, we enjoyed our time camping on their property very much. The covered carport was perfect for our families. The kids especially enjoyed the ranch tour, and even got to see a newborn baby goat during the tour. The restroom and shower facilities are sparkling clean.

We loved camping at Lucky U! The space was well maintained and had some really nice amenities like the covered coffee bar and sink area with plenty of bathrooms and hot water. The animals are friendly and fun and the property is beautiful and peaceful. We will be back!!

I loved the campsite, very secluded. Nicest portapottie I have been in. Lots of wildlife sounds but nothing of a nuisance! Even had a great sunset on the last night. Jim is very nice and showed us where to go when we got there. Would definitely stay again.

2 nights at Misty Morning Acres

My husband, pup, and I spent 2 nights at Louise’s beautiful small hobby farm with goats and chickens. We were greeted by Louise and Michelle upon arrival, who made us feel very welcome, helped us hook up, and explained everything about the property. Location and surroundings are very quiet, peaceful, and safe, just minutes from The Village, shopping, and restaurants. Easy to access, drive through, and convenient hookup for power and water. Outdoor shower with plenty of hot water was much appreciated, as well of the fresh laid eggs, and WiFi. Louise also offered for us to do laundry. We will definitely return and are already planning our next visit.

A place with very nice campsite climate. And the host are super friendly! No shower, but sitting by the fireplace makes it all up :)
