We purchased our property in 2017 and longed for the dream to build a home. Well, we built that home. We are now ready to share our place where we find so much tranquility with others. You can see how the old orange groves worked as we haven't filled in all the furrows yet. The old orange Grove is now home to cattle, horses, goats, ducks, and our little family. Learn more about this land: Bring your RV away from the hustle and bustle of the city to the wide open spaces of the country. The only sounds you'll hear are cows mooing, goats baaing, and horses neighing. Sunsets and the stars are a site to see out here. THE PROPERTY: The owners live on the property with their 2 children and are willing to be helpful in anyway. Children are more than welcome to tag along. Being kid friendly is a plus for us as our kids might be running around enjoying their property. Can't forget dog friendly either. Our dogs love to greet our guests. NEARBY ATTRACTIONS: If beaches are on your agenda, South Causeway and Fort Pierce Inlet State Park are only 25 minutes from the beach! Our favorite place to grab breakfast, lunch, or dinner is Carter's Grocery, which is only 4 minutes from our property. ACTIVITIES: We have chickens that lay eggs and are great for eating so if you'd like some fresh eggs, feel free to go over to their house and grab some. We have a Pavillion with a fire pit that is welcomed to be used. Our dock provides a look out on our pond. Please feed the fish some food if you'd like. Also, take time to fish in our pond and catch some tilapia or blue gill. The kids have a blast fishing as the fish are easy to catch. THE SPACE: The site you'll be staying at is close to the owners house. There are 2 parking spots on asphalt that are available for the campers vehicles or park directly at your site. The ground will be grass that the camper will park on. Please note: we have 2 gates with gate codes that shut automatically. Please be sure each gate closes behind you! We have free roaming cattle and other farm animals outside the camping area. We are always open to recommendations on how we can make your stay even better! Our campsites are located inside of the River Ranch Property Owners Association therefore you MUST already be a member in order to book the property or gain access through the front gate. Our entire property is 2.5 acres and the campsites are located on .65 acres across the road. Our site is the location of a future food forest therefore we have planted several fruit trees on both properties which we hope our guests enjoy throughout the year. Each site is just under a quarter acre and can accommodate a trailer or two tents as well as room for a car/truck with an ATV/UTV trailer. The shared common area is home to oak shade trees, a picnic table and burn barrel. For complete access to the entire .65 acres, please reserve both sites.

We are located on a deadend road with minimal traffic and seperated from the neighboring property with plenty of bamboo for privacy. Just outside your coach door you will enjoy a view of our acre pond stocked with plenty of fish. The community firepit is a relaxing area to soak up the sun or socialize with others. There are plenty of restaurants and shopping within four miles. All accessable via bicycle on marked bike paths if that is your preferred method of travel. All our sites have 30&50amp electrical service and water, NO SEWER.

THE PROPERTY: The owners live on the property with their 2 children and are willing to be helpful in anyway. Children are more than welcome to tag along. Being kid friendly is a plus for us as our kids might be running around enjoying their property. Can't forget dog friendly either. Our dogs love to greet our guests. NEARBY ATTRACTIONS: If beaches are on your agenda, South Causeway and Fort Pierce Inlet State Park are only 25 minutes from the beach! Our favorite place to grab breakfast, lunch, or dinner is Carter's Grocery, which is only 4 minutes from our property. ACTIVITIES: We have chickens that lay eggs and are great for eating so if you'd like some fresh eggs, feel free to go over to their house and grab some. We have a Pavillion with a fire pit that is welcomed to be used. Our dock provides a look out on our pond. Please feed the fish some food if you'd like. Also, take time to fish in our pond and catch some tilapia or blue gill. The kids have a blast fishing as the fish are easy to catch. THE SPACE: The site you'll be staying at is close to the owners house. There are 2 parking spots on asphalt that are available for the campers vehicles or park directly at your site. The ground will be grass that the camper will park on. Please note: we have 2 gates with gate codes that shut automatically. Please be sure each gate closes behind you! We have free roaming cattle and other farm animals outside the camping area. We are always open to recommendations on how we can make your stay even better! We cant wait to share our property with you and hopefully you'll find our place as somewhere you'd love to return!

The coastal city provides direct access to some of Florida’s most notable beaches, parks, and cultural hubs. Campers will love kayaking around the Indian River, as well as at the Brevard Zoo. Meanwhile, space enthusiasts are sure to show enthusiasm for Cape Canaveral and its galactic activities. Visit a campsite in Melbourne, and you can spend your mornings soaking up the sun at Wickham Park—and your evenings soaking up the culture at the Eau Gallie Arts District.

Where to go

River Lakes Conservation Area

Rent a canoe to paddle over the river and through the wetlands. The River Lakes Conservation Area welcomes boaters, hikers, and paddlers, not to mention all kinds of local wildlife. It’s a prime spot to spot storks, cranes, and river otters, so keep your eyes up and out. Campers can check-in to a nearby campground with RV hookups or get even closer to nature at a backcountry campsite.

Up The Space Coast

Head across the Indian River, and you’ll encounter a range of campgrounds that wind up Florida’s Space Coast. North of Melbourne, you can savor a leisurely beach day and spend the night at a Cocoa Beach campsite. Or, take the coast’s alias to heart and pay a visit to Cape Canaveral. All along the water, you’re guaranteed some sun—and a few waves.

Sebastian Inlet State Park

Surf’s up. Once you cross the Indian River, you can alternatively drive south of Melbourne. You’ll quickly reach Sebastian Inlet State Park: a surfer’s paradise. For campers who’d rather keep their feet in the sand, the park is a treasure trove for finding seashells and sea turtles. Due to the park’s location, it stretches along both the Atlantic Ocean and the Indian River. Pitch your tent—or park your RV—according to your desired view.

When to go

The Sunshine State upholds its name year-round, so a Melbourne campsite promises warm weather regardless of the season. However, campers may find May to September less-than-ideal for sleeping outside. Summer is peak hurricane season, but even if the winds remain calm, the bugs—and the humidity—make no promises. Plan your getaway for the cooler months, when you’ll bask in a less extreme version of Florida’s trademark sun.
