Red Mombin, and thousands of banana plants. Fishing can be great, wildlife and bird watching too. Fenced and gated for safety, this old historic nursery property has good vibes and plenty to offer. Until you see it - you really may not understand. Parts of property are wide open, other areas are rugged and difficult to walk through including some wetland areas. The nursery has plenty of trees, and some fields -the large pond is surrounded by cattails and marsh/wetlands and has fish (Bass, Tilapia, Sunfish, Catfish). We opened to the public on Labor Day 2014. Most people come to stay either in our rental cottage or in their horse trailers/RVs with their horses to ride the awesome trails in the 20,000+ acre adjacent Croom Forest. However, because our ranch is so peaceful, many stay here without horses just to enjoy the peace and quiet. There are many opportunities to recreate in the area, including outstanding mountain and road biking, OHVing, hiking, golfing, and canoeing/kayaking. Many full-time and working RVers stay for extended periods. Note that our camping area is small and intimate, so you will be close to other campers. We have 5 30-amp hookups, and 2 50-amp hookups; if you need 50-amp service, please request it. Note that a minimum of a 2-night stay will typically be required on weekends, especially during our busy season. WiFi is available, but we call it "Country WiFi" since it sometimes can be slow and may or may not be accessible from where you are parked; also, Verizon cell service in our area is terrible. If internet access is important to you, we suggest having your own hotspot or internet service (many working RVers have Starlink). Note that GPS can be very mean in our rural area; make sure your turn off Highway 50 is onto paved High Corner Road, which is 2 miles west of I-75 (if GPS tries to turn you down unpaved, dead-end roads, DO NOT LISTEN..you will get stuck!). If you don't have your own RV, you can rent one from Ray Day's RV Rentals (229-515-7008), which is literally around the corner.

My first experience at Bare RV Resort was fantastic. I wasn’t quite sure what to expect from my first clothing-optional resort, but I immediately felt welcome, safe, and comfortable. What stood out most was the warm, respectful, and judgment-free atmosphere — it made for such a positive introduction to this kind of space. I visited with my friend, and we ended up making new friends during my stay, which made it even more special. The pool and hot tub were a highlight, and the whole resort felt cozy and inviting. It strikes a great balance of social and relaxed, and the location near other resorts in the area is a bonus. A wonderful first experience, and we will gladly return.

Chris was an absolute gem, and so is the property. I was able to pull straight into his driveway since I wasn't planning to unhook, and it was an easy back-out when I left. This site is situated in a beautiful neighborhood and I took advantage of the nature preserve just down the street for noon-time walks. As a solo woman traveler I felt very safe at the property and in the neighborhood. Chris reached out the morning of my planned arrival to clarify my ETA and establish a line of communication. He came out to greet me when I arrived, made sure I had everything I needed and showed me where the hookups were, etc. Other than that he left me to my own devices and encouraged me to message him with any questions or needs. Very helpful and caring guy. Here's where Chris went from a great host to an exceptional one: not only did he give me permission to have an order shipped to his house, but when there was a huge mix-up, he took receipt of the package (which arrived after I had left) and made sure it was safe until UPS came to pick it up. It was an extra hassle for him and he was super cool about it. 10/10 would recommend.

I found this place via hip camp, I tried to approach this place is for healing to find the solitude that I need as well as understand myself with others. What I found was residence who are willing to make up rumors and throw non-residents out, I was sleeping in a tent and had no better place to go but the owner would rather take their vacation. Didn't care about what I was going through.

This was the most beautiful example of "old Florida" that I've ever encountered. There were so many beautiful old Oaks everywhere and so much tree- covered forest to explore. We walked to and fro and barely scared the surface. There was an abundance of wildlife- turkeys, pigs, possum, raccoons, deer, and alligators. There were no toilets or showers though, but a gym was some miles away.

Camp Mack is a beautiful Old Florida fish camp! Our site was amongst the live oaks, quiet an peaceful. Staff and facilities were wonderful. It was relaxing to site along the water and watch fishermen and airboats coming and going. The camp store has everything you need, restrooms and showers are well maintained, and everyone is friendly! We did not use the pool, but it was very nice with a clubhouse and restrooms and showers. The Freshwater Tavern is within walking distance with food and beverages, was nice, and there is a food truck on the premises. We would definitely stay again!

I had a peaceful and relaxing stay at Mike’s farm. The area around the pond is especially beautiful, I was in spot 5, it was a serene space to unwind and enjoy nature.

Weekend Trip to The Inn At The Forest

Sometimes you find a diamond hiding in plan site. While Webster, FL is a small dot on the map, it packs a hidden charm and peacefulness! The campsites are situated close to one another like any other campsites there is room for both privacy and interaction with others. We stayed a few days and met many travelers, all of them pleasant and at the same time willing to give you space. Accommodations for restroom, shower and even an efficiency kitchen.(shared) that is always welcome. The real standout is the Spirit of the place and the sisters make you feel at home in an instant. Thank you both. We look forward to returning. Be sure to check out the state park and recreation area down the street. Bring a kayak, a tube and your fishing gear and take a step back in time to a simpler Florida. Everyone we met was friendly and helpful!
