If you don't have a boat, we can set up any kind of trip you want. We are all licensed captains and own multiple Crab Island businesses. So we can set up charters for you on the following boats: Sailing trip on a restored 1963 Pearson Ensign. Can accommodate up to 6 people. This is a classic sailboat that is easy to sail and easy to learn to sail. A restored 1966 Boston Whaler that is perfect for couples looking for a sunset cruise, etc. Can accommodate up to 6 people but it perfect for 2 -4. We can go to Crab Island, look for dolphins or find our own private island beach. Waverunner tours. We can take you on a guided wave runner tour looking for dolphins and private beaches. You will drive one wave runner while our licensed captain guided you on another one. Insurance does not allow us to rent these out solo but there are many good vendors in the area to do that. Inshore flats skiff targeting redfish and trout on light spinning gear and fly rods. This boat is best fished with no more than 3 people. Rates: $150 per hour for less than 3 hours $500 for half day (4 hours) $600 for 6 hours The neighborhood is one of the oldest neighborhoods in Fort Walton with large oaks and magnolias providing plenty of shade for bike riding and walking. Downtown Fort Walton with its shops and quaint restaurants is only a mile away. Didn't bring a bike, we have 2 you can use. During the summer, there are fireworks every Wednesday night that are viewable from this spot. The site comes with water/sewer and 30 Amp hookup. Wildcat Creek Educational Center is located on 81 acres in North Florida, we are an off the grid organic farm and educational center, teaching solar energy, permaculture, eco-construction, mushroom identification and methods for simple independent living. We have many camp sites, beds in remodeled school buses, and other sleeping structures. Learn more about this land: Camping, lots of spots wooded, shady, near creek or upland. 81 acres with well marked trails. Don't have with, no problem we have sleeping space in restored school buses, clean, electricity for lights, fans, cell phone charging. The Chipola river is 1.5 miles away beautiful river allows fishing, swimming, boating, kayaks available for $35 all day includes necessary equipment and transport to and from river.

Really enjoyed this spot. We were passing through for a few days and needed to be in between friends that were located in PCB and apalachicola. It’s walking distance from public beach, great food/ Dollar General/Ace Hardware near by and very quiet at night. I mirror what others have said about unevenness of Pad and sewer hookups being a bit high. Probably only challenging for those of us with smaller travel trailers. Having two water supply hookups, 50,30,20 amp electrical hookups and this awesome shed with RV accessories extras, a washing machine, chairs, table, hoses, etc. makes up for any of the small site inconveniences. Can’t wait to stay here in the spring/summer so we can really enjoy the area. We recommend this spot and the host was great, instructions were great and communication was timely. Thanks for a great stay!

This is an incredible waterfront lot with a million dollar view. Sunsets were phenomenal! Owners ensure guests are comfortable and were very attentive. Fishing was nothing short of spectacular for Redfish and Sea Trout. Thanks for sharing such a wonderful place.

I loved tent camping at Maggie’s. Everything I would need was provided: hot shower, clean port-a-potty, and a partial kitchen. Maggie and Michael are the bests hosts I’ve met in my 5 months of traveling. I was met and shown around when I arrived. These two have great musical talents and a lot of stories that I really enjoyed and learned something from. I would absolutley stay here again and may even make it a must stop when in the area.

The camp site for my son and I was exactly what we were looking for. It had a great location close to the water and was not far from the parking area. The site was clean and we really enjoyed cooking over the open fire pit. My son thought the solar power string lights was a good addition. Another part we both liked was the outdoor kitchen that’s available for anyone to use. The lighting, sink, and countertop area made it so easy for us to clean up after cooking on the fire. We also liked that there was a shower and restroom available as well. You can’t beat the price for all that is available. Definitely will be coming back.

Even though it was pretty hot out, we HAD to make a campfire for s'mores!

Had a wonderful time! The place was peaceful and we loved the cooking area and bathrooms were great! The yurt was perfect and the we thoroughly enjoyed the beach and water area, as well as hiking the trail! Bella and Amanda were perfect hosts! We took a chance driving in 5 hours and will make the trip again!

Leila’s spot was great. We loved that it was only a block from the beach. The shed storage and laundry machine was helpful- especially because of the humidity and moisture over night. It was hard to get clothing dry without a dryer. (We used a laundromat in town) The black tank hook up was not threaded to secure a connection but it still worked. Red tide was high while we were there. Overall it was a beautiful spot just steps away from a beautiful dog friendly beach. We loved the location and so did our pets. Would recommend!

5 nights at The Gulf Stream Beach Camp

I loved camping at this location. First, I travel with my dog. So, the fenced in yard on three sides was nice. It was open and spacious. Plenty of space for larger RVs. Mine is a small teardrop and the lot could have held a much larger RV. The hookups were easy to use. and on the right side of the lot. So, you back your RV into the spot. Then, you have lots of space in front of your RV for set up of tents, TV, grill, etc. Now, let's talk about 'why' you would choose this spot. It is a very short walk to the beach. I made that walk three or four times a day. I went in November. So, the beach was empty and the weather perfect for both football and relaxing. Plus, Shipwreck Raw Bar is close if you want to eat out instead of grilling. I will definitely stay here again!

Our family rented out 2 yurts for our sons birthday and we had an amazing time! Amanda was attentive and kind (as was her sweet fur baby, Bella) Our yurt was clean and well maintained. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet! Beautiful views of the river right out our window. The dogs could be off leash and that's the most fun they've had in ages! The hosts communicated well, we're very nice and helpful. Definitely recommend!
