We live on the property. It is very private but, at the same time, close to everything. Grocery store and restaurants nearby. 1 mi from the highway. 15min to Flagler Beach (top surf place in Florida!). A lot of stuff to do around - fishing, canoeing and swimming( ocean is10-15 minutes drive), natural preserves, parks and historic places. Tennis court, pickle ball courts and a play ground (5min walk). Daytona Beach and historic St.Augustine( 20-30 min drive). A little over an hour to Orlando, Jacksonville or Cape Canaveral. We have a water and electricity hook ups. Spaces for the boats are available also. No sewage disposal. There is a dog on the property. Dogs are ok but have to be cleaned after and be on the leash.Please no loud noise after the dark, no drugs or heavy drinking, no loud parties. No slipping in tents allowed.

We accept small Class A Motorhomes (34' and under), Class B, Class C, Small 5th Wheel, Pop-up Campers, Vans and Travel Trailers. Sorry, no tent camping is allowed. We live and work on the property ourselves, and are just a short walk or phone call away. This is a very private place, no close neighbors. Our goal is to give you all the space and privacy you need and or require. Most of our guests are here to participate at an event at the Daytona 500 track. Only 35 minutes to get to the track in Daytona. We understand that alot of our guests are driving from long distances to get here. We will work with you on check in times not to worry. Campsites are on a small horse farm located just 4 miles from downtown St Augustine and 5 miles from Vilano Beach. Many hiking and water activities within 30 minutes. You select the space you where you wish to set up camp. The entrance off the dirt road is tricky for large rigs or trailers more than 35' may not have easy access. Our sites offer potable water, a shower, picnic tables, a toilet, wifi, trash disposal, space for campfires, and we are pet friendly! We can accommodate tents, RVs, and trailers. Our guests love staying here: "Camping at Gayle’s property was an amazing experience. We shared the field with 3 other campers but there was still plenty of room between sites. Land is flat and has fire pit spaces and BBQ grills. Outdoor shower was appreciated even though we didn’t use it & it was great to have the port-o-potty on site. The best part was getting to see the animals!"

A hot tub awaits you, which is open to the stars and great after a day of lounging or fun out and about. We are close to everything but far enough for you to relax after a fun day of exploring. Daytona Speedway is a 30 min. drive. You can be on the beach in 20 min. or putting your boat/jet skis in the river in 15 min. It was populated by hardy, adventurous folks who made a way for themselves and their families by clearing a spot along the lagoon, building a home and forging a life in a new location. But Shiloh is now lost, literally removed from the maps. It no longer exists. When NASA needed a perimeter zone for the newly emerging space program in the 1950s, the federal government purchased large swaths of land between Oak Hill and Titusville, FL. Residents were bought out and forced to move. Houses were relocated or demolished. Shiloh disappeared into history while the space-age pushed forward into the future. However... some foundations still can be found in the woods not far away, if you know where to look. There are even cemeteries that remain, whispering the names of individuals and families. The property sits on 50 acres with natural beauty. This is a great location to relax and unwind from your busy stressful life. We are located 2 1/2 miles down a wide county maintained dirt road. It is very quiet and private out here on the ranch. There are no close neighbors in the vicinity of our property. On the property, we have an exotic bird sanctuary about 200 feet from the RV site. At times you will think you are in the Amazon jungle. The birds are very playful, entertaining to watch them play throughout the day. You are more than welcome to go and interact with the birds. There are swinging hammock chairs hung up in the sanctuary for your comfort. There is a variety of wildlife out here every day. You will see turkeys, deer, raccoons, armadillos, wild boars and even on occasion a black bear. There is a fire pit by the Rv site that you can use to sit around in the evening and enjoy a fire if you wish. However, we don't recommend you go walking out into the swampy brush area, as there is a lot of Florida native wildlife like snakes and etc. and we want you to be safe. If you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city life. Our property is gated and fenced off and extremely private. And no one can just walk on to our ranch. We live and work on the property ourselves, and are just a short walk or phone call away. This is a very private place, no close neighbors. Our goal is to give you all the space and privacy you need and or require. Most of our guests are here to participate at an event at the Daytona 500 track. Only 35 minutes to get to the track in Daytona. We understand that alot of our guests are driving from long distances to get here. We will work with you on check in times not to worry. There is a ton of space to park your vehicle and trailer if needed. We are on well water out here in the country.

The layout consisted of a communal firepit at the center of the camp sites. The camp sites are basically where ever you want to make them. They have a neat gypsy wagon and cabin for those who prefer more comforts. We've always been tent campers so we enjoyed the flexibility. Some treed areas some more open.

We had such a wonderful weekend camping at this farm in DeLand, Florida. It was exactly the kind of getaway we were hoping for. The hosts were incredibly friendly and accommodating from the moment we arrived. Everything was clean, well maintained, and thoughtfully set up. The bathrooms and amenities were in great shape and clearly cared for. The farm animals were easily the highlight for our kids. They loved seeing the goats and even got to hold a baby goat with the owners, which made their weekend. They also befriended a turkey who hung around our campsite and the sweetest dog named Jacksonville. The kids even gave the turkey a nickname. Getting that kind of hands on experience with the animals made it feel really special. The location was great as well. We spent time at Blue Springs Park and appreciated all the local recommendations the hosts shared, including other parks and the Historical Village nearby. They suggested Big Rig for breakfast, which was exactly the casual, relaxed spot we were looking for. There were other campers on the property, but everyone was respectful and kept to themselves, so it still felt peaceful and private. One especially fun surprise was the bowling ball scavenger hunt on the property, which kept the kids entertained for quite a while. Overall, we would absolutely recommend staying here. It was a memorable family weekend and a place we would gladly return to.

Robert was super kind, greeted us and provided a bag with pamphlets on what to do in the area.. we stayed 2 nights, ate dinner on the bistro table provided, it rained the second night so we hunkered down.

The land is good and the backyard is somewhat secluded. You will be within earshot of other people, but it’s a pretty good setup. It’s probably an ideal place for a cluster of campers that know each other or don’t want full privacy. My problem with the owner began when I arrived. He did not know I was coming and blamed it on his wife. I will take him at his word. He asked about hookups and I informed him that my camper only uses 110 ac and I usually only a phone charger and coffeemaker (it was cold outside so no a/c). I also made an attempt to give him information about my setup. I plug the hookup to my car (ev) and then power the camper through the car. Sometimes the battery charges a little and tops off, but I recharge on the road at Buc-ee’s. Next thing I know he’s outside my camper at night with a flashlight waking me up and accusing me of using the power as a charging station. I was pulling little power and he didn’t hassle the huge rvs next to me running tons of stuff. I patiently explained my setup again and he apologized and said that it was his mistake. I would have left it at that and given grace for a bad day, but I never saw him again. Checkout was a pain because he would not respond and he hasn’t responded to any messages from me since. I’ve given up. I guess I just don’t like being accused and hassled when I’m paying to stay in a quiet spot and I need the sleep. I’m concerned I will get blasted on reviews and I truly tried to work this out
