We are surrounded by conservation land and we have one of the highest populations of bald eagles. We also have friendly squirrels that love to tap on the door for nuts 🥜 in the morning. Our internet is Starlink and isn’t the best by any stretch of the imagination, cell service is pretty good though.

There is a Dollar General, a gas station and a small cafe within walking distance. We have 38 acres of camping sites nature trails for hiking and mountain biking. Guests can park right on their site, or they have the option of parking and hiking into the woods to set up their site a bit more remote and off the beaten path. This is rustic camping. We have a bathhouse located at the campsites with showers. The bathhouse at the Great Lodge hereas we do have garbage cans, we prefer that anything you bring into the property, you bring out with you. We allow campfires. The fishing is amazing in these parts, so if you are an angler, come and visit. We have .75 miles of frontage on the Orange Creek. The creek flows into Lake Ocklawaha which just so happens to be one of the best bass fishing lakes in the USA. In fact, ten-pound bass are not uncommon from the Lake Ocklawaha River in the winter. Recently (2020), a 17.2-pound bass was caught there. The combined Ocklawaha and St. Johns drainage basin is possibly the most significant river-estuary waterway of Florida. This water system is of legendary reputation among anglers of largemouth bass who seek 10 pound plus trophy fish. Conveniently located between Ocala and Gainesville in the heart of Orange Springs, Florida, Camp Seminole Spring is perfectly located for the traveler who wants to really connect with nature. It appears to be ‘off the beaten path’, yet it is close enough to civilization so that even the most seasoned camper can make a quick run to store should he or she need something not found in nature. Camp Seminole Spring is mid-way (approx.. 22 miles) between Ocala and Gainesville, Florida, which are two thriving cities in this area of Florida. Ocala, the ‘horse capital of the world’ showcases a brand new multi-billion-dollar equestrian center which draws people from all over the world. There are swinging hammock chairs hung up in the sanctuary for your comfort. There is a variety of wildlife out here every day. You will see turkeys, deer, raccoons, armadillos, wild boars and even on occasion a black bear. There is a fire pit by the Rv site that you can use to sit around in the evening and enjoy a fire if you wish. However, we don't recommend you go walking out into the swampy brush area, as there is a lot of Florida native wildlife like snakes and etc. and we want you to be safe. If you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city life. Our property is gated and fenced off and extremely private. And no one can just walk on to our ranch. We live and work on the property ourselves, and are just a short walk or phone call away. This is a very private place, no close neighbors. Our goal is to give you all the space and privacy you need and or require. Most of our guests are here to participate at an event at the Daytona 500 track. Only 35 minutes to get to the track in Daytona. We understand that alot of our guests are driving from long distances to get here. We will work with you on check in times not to worry. The beds have clean sheets and we offer some dishes, pots n pans, a few CDs, blankets, pillows, toilet paper, and ice trays in the lil freezer. The Palatka area has restaurants, laundromats, marinas, public fishing, grocery stores, and other retail shops. Satsuma proper, we love because we don't have to deal with traffic, and it's close to St. Johns river where professionals and amatures alike, can go boating or catch bass from land or boat. 2 nights at Serene Forested Blueberry Farm

The hosts and everyone else staying on the property was so friendly and welcoming! My boyfriend and I went for our anniversary and it was exactly what we needed! We stayed in the scotty mccoy which is one of their smallest campers they have on property but had a nice king size bed inside which is all we needed for our 2 night stay. We got to hangout with the 3 cats on the property, along with the chickens, and ducks which we loved. We picked fresh blackberries from the bushes on the property as well as fresh eggs:) the tiki lit shower was one of our favorite feature of the space and provided a woody oasis feel! we plan on coming back and loved our experience not only on the property but in the surrounding areas as well.

This was my fourth stay at Cassandra and Walter’s beautiful Hipcamp, and my first time in the Bee Hive — which might just be my new favorite setup. It’s cozy, creative, and has that peaceful, tucked‑away charm that makes it so easy to unwind. My pups and I always feel completely at home here. The hosts are truly some of the sweetest, most thoughtful people you’ll ever meet. Every stay feels personal, cared for, and full of heart. Whether it’s the quiet mornings, the fresh eggs you can get directly from their pretty chicks, the garden or the warm welcome that never fades, this place never disappoints. Weekend Trip to Serene Forested Blueberry Farm

We had a wonderful time staying in Little Lulu with our dogs! Everyone was so welcoming and the directions to the spot were really clear. We loved getting a tour of the land and even got to pick some vegetables and herbs for the campfire chili we made. We also had access to fresh farm eggs! It was a great place to unplug and enjoy some time outdoors.

Weekend Trip to Wolf Branch Ranch

We stayed 2 nights at the Yurt, Nick was awesome! He prepared for us a beautiful fire pit, was very attentive to any of our needs and gave us great recommendations to visit around the area. Shower is hot, restrooms and yurt very clean. The spot is truly beautiful and peaceful, in front of a lake and great for a weekend off from the city life. Very recommended, thanks Nick!

This is a unique experience and my 4 year old loved it! The camper was cozy and perfect for myself, son and our dog. The grounds are well kept, incredible outdoor shower and super friendly hosts! 12/10 experience.

Beautiful little spot, I wish we could’ve stayed an extra night. The trail around the property is so pretty, especially at night. I loved being able to take the dogs into the spring in the middle of the property and kayak around it. The glamping tents had everything we needed and more with a beautiful view!

It was a very comfortable and pleasant cabin. Everything needed for a short or long term stay. Bring only clothes and groceries. The cabin was quaint, decorated nicely. I sat by the fire with my morning coffee. It was great.

Sweet little spot that feels very private even though there were other campers around. The layout of the campground is very intentional and thoughtful. Fresh eggs, outdoor shower, and pre-built fire were excellent touches, as others have said. I was worried their might be competition for the toilet or shower, but it was never an issue.

The glamping looked same as the pictures mentioned in here. The glamping that I booked had 4 beds, 2 chairs, one night lamp, one heater, 4 power outlets, small barbecue, private attached bath (toilet, shower, sink, mirror, only cold water, shower was slightly broken but didn’t stop me from bathing, may be we could ask them if they have an extra shared bathroom). A wooden outdoor table for 4 or 6 people. A campfire arrangement. They will provide woods, you may ask them for lighting them. I brought my own matchbox and all. The glamping I stayed had a beautiful pond or spring view. They had boat, kayaks you can use them. I don’t know if we can borrow from them for outside activities. Site was clean and fresh. I had privacy. I stayed safe there. You got to ask for wifi and password. Bring your own bedsheets, pillows, etc., I would recommend this to my friends and family. I would book this site again for my future trips.

The site is great. So much thought was put into the details. The lake is beautiful. We kayaked to the rookery. Laughed at the sill ducks wadding by constantly. And coffee with a tiny baby gator. Peace and tranquility. For cooking bring g a small table if you can. We used induction stoves which were great. Thoughtful details throughout

Nice and cozy, tucked away in the trees. It was so peaceful, calm, and quiet. A great spot to just get away from the craziness in the cities. Cabin was nice and clean, bathrooms were really nice, outside shower was nice touch.

Cassandra and Walt were wonderful hosts and have a beautiful set of land that is well maintained for their guests. I stayed in the cabin, which was perfectly curated for a home-y, country feel. The cabin was fully stocked with everything you may need in the kitchen and bathroom, which made packing a breeze! There was a grill, table & chairs, and a fire pit on the outside of the cabin which made a great evening hangout spot. (Firewood provided) They have chickens which you’re welcome to grab eggs from, and a couple adorable kitties running around to try and make friends with. My favorite part of my stay here is how dog friendly they are! I brought my border collie and he had the BEST time being able to roam around and smell things, and the cabin was perfect to leave him in while I was at the local springs kayaking. The property also has several camper and tent sites, which is great to have options but even better that I was able to have several friends book on the same property! I highly recommend this Hipcamp and will definitely be back!
