Having dug right in with the help of the Florida Forestry Service, FWC, IFAS, NRCS and a very knowledgeable private forester; we developed a conservation management plan to restore it to its native state. The neighboring land became available and happily added another 40, I've learned so much on this amazing journey. 25K pines and a great deal of sweat equity later, it is time to share and encourage others to join in on the conservation efforts and make sure it's around for future generations.

Speaking of swimming Ponce De Leon spring is big and beautiful clear blue hole spring to the west. Or go east to Marriana, about the same distance and you can visit Florida Caverns (Florida's only touring cave) with a beautiful spring with swimming, and hiking there too. We have guest also go to the Econfina Springs and canoe rental and spend a day floating the beautiful Ecofina River with 8 springs to visit on a days float. There are many State parks so close. If you want to go out to eat or socialize a local brewery and restaurants are very close and beautiful Alabama too! We are super easy to visit if you are coming from the north out of Dothan are on Interstate 10 we are just Located 1.4 miles North of Interstate right on Hwy 231. Easy access to the interstate, fuel and shopping. The farm is gated with a remote controlled gate for security. All our RV sites have full hook ups with 15, 30, and 50 amp connections, great clean water and sewer at each site. Also a dump station on the property. We are currently working on a bath house with laundry facilities will be ready by the fall of 23. a total of 4 sites on 100 acres (with a couple of more in the works with some tent site on the horizon too) you are sure to be able to find a quiet place. Everything was perfect as always. Even tho the weather was iffy(it is December) we had a great time around the fire and saw Woodpecker's galore and a Bald Eagle that flew over multiple times. If you like peace and quiet-this is the place

4 nights at Maggie's Musical Farm

I loved tent camping at Maggie’s. Everything I would need was provided: hot shower, clean port-a-potty, and a partial kitchen. Maggie and Michael are the bests hosts I’ve met in my 5 months of traveling. I was met and shown around when I arrived. These two have great musical talents and a lot of stories that I really enjoyed and learned something from. I would absolutley stay here again and may even make it a must stop when in the area.

Sweet Tupelo was the perfect spot for our family campsgiving! This was my first time using my new travel trailer, and everything about the setup was perfect for easing me into a new way of camping. The view was incredible and we had loads of space and privacy. My niece told us that when she has kids she will bring them camping at Sweet Tupelo!

What a great surprise, didn’t know what to expect going in but we had such a great time! Super clean, comfortable, it got down to about 35 our 2nd night but between the heater and our sleeping bags we were able to stay warm. The common area was well kept, bathroom/shower also clean and lots of warm water! Great location for us to visit family. We will be going back!

Lots of open space for the kids to play. Nice trails to walk and hike. There were baby chicks and the kids got to hold them and they thought that was the greatest thing. Andrew, the cohost was very friendly and helpful. The bathroom was clean. We definitely would go back. Had a great time.

Very well, kept with a beautiful scenery, the fact that there’s only three campsites is really nice as well so you don’t feel overcrowded. The firewood, being chopped and ready for you for $.50 a log was awesome. Beautiful sunrise, and sunset, I highly suggest you try to stay up just for a little bit because we were able to see a ton of shooting stars.

We had another great stay at Sweet Tupelo! I just wish the weather would have been a little cooler. Facilities are awesome and the smores still tasted great. Definitely recommend this spot.

4 nights at 30A Bay Hideaway

We've been sojourning here for almost five years. We drive our camper from Kansas City to the Everglades for the winter and stop here at the Bay Hideaway to and from to visit our six grandchildren that live in the area. It is a perfect Hideaway, with no 'stranger danger', a huge lawn to play on, a shallow bay for the kids to have fun catching crabs, a very long dock, a tree house, not to mention the quiet and the gorgeous views. I love the porch, and the trees and marsh for the excellent birdwatching. In the four days we were here this visit we saw over 15 types of birds including a Clapper Rail, a Bald Eagle, and lots of shore birds. Crystal and Nathan have been helpful and a pleasure to communicate with... very highly recommend staying here!
