Being relative newbies to RVing, we wanted something private but also wanted a beach front vacation without spending 5K for a house. So, we decided to start searching. Turns out, there isn't a whole lot of RV hookup spots right on the beach. But, we ran across this lovely privately owned gulf front lot on Cape San Blas in Florida and stayed for a week that January. We loved it so much we tried to book it again in May of that year, but it was of course booked the entire month. So, we booked another spot and headed to the cape in May anyway. We wanted to see our favorite spot again, so we drove by one day and low and behold, it was for sale. We couldn't pass up an opportunity to own something we fell in love with so quickly, so we took the jump, and bought it! And now, we can share it with all of you. Treat yourself to a beach front vacation in your own "home" and enjoy the journey friends. You only live once! GULF FRONT! Yes, you have your own path directly to the beach along with outdoor shower to rinse of your day on the sand and then enjoy the grill and picnic area for your afternoon dinner with your group. This 1/2 acre private property gulf front and equipped with 30/50 amp service, water, sewer, trash pickup, an outdoor patio, grill and misting outdoor shower. Just bring your swimming suits you'll be set. Cape San Blas, FL is one of the most beautiful and laid back places you will visit. This property is located on Cape San Blas and is right on the water (gulf side). The cape bike path you can take all the way to the state park and explore the entire cape and all it has to offer (22 mile round trip bike path). Also, check out kayaking in the bay or horse-back riding on the beach! Salinas Park is just a stone's throw where you can enjoy picnics with the family walk out to the bay or even drive onto the beach (permit required). The sleepy little towns of Port St. Joe and Appalachicola have so many great local restaurants and shops and you will love the laid back chill of these old Florida towns. If you've never taken your crew and camped right on the beach, then this is the place for you. Completely private lot with only private houses around on a sandy road and your own private beach access. Enjoy your stay!

Leila’s spot was great. We loved that it was only a block from the beach. The shed storage and laundry machine was helpful- especially because of the humidity and moisture over night. It was hard to get clothing dry without a dryer. (We used a laundromat in town) The black tank hook up was not threaded to secure a connection but it still worked. Red tide was high while we were there. Overall it was a beautiful spot just steps away from a beautiful dog friendly beach. We loved the location and so did our pets. Would recommend!

5 nights at The Gulf Stream Beach Camp

I loved camping at this location. First, I travel with my dog. So, the fenced in yard on three sides was nice. It was open and spacious. Plenty of space for larger RVs. Mine is a small teardrop and the lot could have held a much larger RV. The hookups were easy to use. and on the right side of the lot. So, you back your RV into the spot. Then, you have lots of space in front of your RV for set up of tents, TV, grill, etc. Now, let's talk about 'why' you would choose this spot. It is a very short walk to the beach. I made that walk three or four times a day. I went in November. So, the beach was empty and the weather perfect for both football and relaxing. Plus, Shipwreck Raw Bar is close if you want to eat out instead of grilling. I will definitely stay here again!

What a great spot with plenty of room to park and close to everything. 5 min walk to beautiful lake powell for fishing . Best beach in PCB is laguna beach and your 5 minute drive away. Brian the host is very nice and always available for any questions. The site is very nice and safe. Don't hesitate book it... you will love sand between your toes!!

Very well, kept with a beautiful scenery, the fact that there’s only three campsites is really nice as well so you don’t feel overcrowded. The firewood, being chopped and ready for you for $.50 a log was awesome. Beautiful sunrise, and sunset, I highly suggest you try to stay up just for a little bit because we were able to see a ton of shooting stars.

We loved camping on site 1 ar sweet tupelo. The hosts were absolutely phenomenal whenever we need anything they were always there to answer any questions and help us. We certainly will be coming back and would recommend this location to anyone wanting some peace and quiet next to the river. If you want to relax sweet tupelo is your place.

I've stayed here twice now and I will say under the new management it is a complete 180 from last time. The park is actually kept up with. They were having a farmers market when we showed up. It is super quiet and priced fair. Only issue is they double booked my spot but they had it taken care of within minutes.
