Yes, you have your own path directly to the beach along with outdoor shower to rinse of your day on the sand and then enjoy the grill and picnic area for your afternoon dinner with your group. This 1/2 acre private property gulf front and equipped with 30/50 amp service, water, sewer, trash pickup, an outdoor patio, grill and misting outdoor shower. Just bring your swimming suits you'll be set. Cape San Blas, FL is one of the most beautiful and laid back places you will visit. Really enjoyed this spot. We were passing through for a few days and needed to be in between friends that were located in PCB and apalachicola. It’s walking distance from public beach, great food/ Dollar General/Ace Hardware near by and very quiet at night. I mirror what others have said about unevenness of Pad and sewer hookups being a bit high. Probably only challenging for those of us with smaller travel trailers. Having two water supply hookups, 50,30,20 amp electrical hookups and this awesome shed with RV accessories extras, a washing machine, chairs, table, hoses, etc. makes up for any of the small site inconveniences. Can’t wait to stay here in the spring/summer so we can really enjoy the area. We recommend this spot and the host was great, instructions were great and communication was timely. Thanks for a great stay!

Maggie and Michael are the bests hosts I’ve met in my 5 months of traveling. I was met and shown around when I arrived. Leila’s spot was great. We loved that it was only a block from the beach. The shed storage and laundry machine was helpful- especially because of the humidity and moisture over night. It was hard to get clothing dry without a dryer. (We used a laundromat in town) The black tank hook up was not threaded to secure a connection but it still worked. Red tide was high while we were there. Overall it was a beautiful spot just steps away from a beautiful dog friendly beach. We loved the location and so did our pets. Would recommend!

We've been sojourning here for almost five years. We drive our camper from Kansas City to the Everglades for the winter and stop here at the Bay Hideaway to and from to visit our six grandchildren that live in the area. It is a perfect Hideaway, with no 'stranger danger', a huge lawn to play on, a shallow bay for the kids to have fun catching crabs, a very long dock, a tree house, not to mention the quiet and the gorgeous views. I love the porch, and the trees and marsh for the excellent birdwatching. In the four days we were here this visit we saw over 15 types of birds including a Clapper Rail, a Bald Eagle, and lots of shore birds. This was the best campsite that I've ever been to. The campground is beautiful and secluded. The interior of the tent is super cozy, I slept better there than in my own bed at home! The owners put so much thought and consideration into amenities that make the stay so much nicer. The kitchenette is a super nice addition, with multiple cooking utensils for use with the charcoal grill. Not to mention the owners themselves were super kind and accommodating. I can't wait until I book another trip here in the future!

David's set up is so nice we visited twice! This was our second visit to Panhandle Paradise and we loved it just as much as we did the first time. The outdoor shower is so nice and convenient. The covered picnic area is great for cooking and eating outside. The only advice I have is to bring bug spray! We got eaten alive by mosquitoes on the first night (after a rain shower). After that night, they weren't bad at all, but the damage was done. We lived with anti-itch cream for the rest of our trip. It was still wonderful, though!

I am offering short term rentals of my houseboat this season. It is located on the Apalachicola River about 1 mile upstream of NEAL LANDING near Blountstown and only accessible by motor boat or paddle vessel. The houseboat is in a fixed location and does not move. It is furnished with 2 beds, a futon, and a loft for extra sleeping space and there is a generator for power. THIS IS A PRIMITIVE CAMP, NOT A LUXURY RESORT STAY. You have to bring gasoline for the generator if you want power. The beds have hygienic mattress covers but you should bring your own sleeping bag and pillow cover. You relieve yourself at the boat ramp porta-potty ~1 mile away or in composting camp toilet out back. You have to bring in bottled drinking water or a Sawyer filter for the river water. There is a propane stove/oven, a charcoal grill and also a fire pit out front if you bring wood or collect it. There is an (outside) propane instant hot water heater with a shower head and a privacy screen if you need to get clean and don't want to hop in the drink. My goal here is to offer a unique experience and a code to the door for you to use it for the agreed time frame, not provide everything for you. I would be charging more for each stay if that were the case because it would be a real challenge for me to get to it and keep it stocked. If you come prepared for an enjoyable camping trip you will have a great time, if you come with nothing you will probably not. This would be my first time renting it out and so I do not have all of the logistics sorted, but I'd be willing to talk to someone and see if we can work something out if more reasonable amenities/comforts are required. This is an awesome camp for hunting or fishing weekend with enough room for a few buddies to drink some beer in the evening and relax, and this is NOT some random cash grab rental property. This is my personal camp retreat that I only want to share with people who are going to be respectful of it and the river. More photos coming soon.

On our farm we grow Christmas Tress, have 2 beautiful cypress ponds full of waterfowl and fish. Also there are green lanes and fields and if your lucky you can catch site or deer, turkeys, all sorts of birds maybe even a cute baby armadillo. In just over 45 minutes you can be playing on the beach in Panama City Beach, (world’s most beautiful beaches). Something a little different is just a few minutes away Falling Waters state park (Florida's tallest waterfall) and a swimming hole with walking trails. Speaking of swimming Ponce De Leon spring is big and beautiful clear blue hole spring to the west. Or go east to Marriana, about the same distance and you can visit Florida Caverns (Florida's only touring cave) with a beautiful spring with swimming, and hiking there too. We have guest also go to the Econfina Springs and canoe rental and spend a day floating the beautiful Ecofina River with 8 springs to visit on a days float. There are many State parks so close. If you want to go out to eat or socialize a local brewery and restaurants are very close and beautiful Alabama too! We are super easy to visit if you are coming from the north out of Dothan are on Interstate 10 we are just Located 1.4 miles North of Interstate right on Hwy 231. Easy access to the interstate, fuel and shopping. The farm is gated with a remote controlled gate for security. All our RV sites have full hook ups with 15, 30, and 50 amp connections, great clean water and sewer at each site. Also a dump station on the property. We are currently working on a bath house with laundry facilities will be ready by the fall of 23. a total of 4 sites on 100 acres (with a couple of more in the works with some tent site on the horizon too) you are sure to be able to find a quiet place. This is a wonderful "Forgotten Coast" region of the Florida panhandle with so much to see and do within minutes. This area took a direct hit from Hurricane Michael in 2018 and has worked hard at recovery, with so much rebuilding and growth over the last few years. Howard Creek is an eclectic little fishing community made up of a variety of residents from weekend fishers, summer or winter visitors and full time residents. This little golf cart community offers a small general store, a small community church, a volunteer fire department and two landings to put your boat in. Just 20 minutes from the quaint little beach town of Port Saint Joe, Florida. PSJ is known for its warm, welcoming people, old world Florida feel, dog-friendly beaches, Cape San Blas and Indian Pass.
