Howard Creek is located just 20 minutes from the St Joe Bay for saltwater fishing or access to the Gulf of Mexico, 15 minutes from the Intracoastal waterway access at White City, FL and 35 minutes from the Dead Lakes in Wewahitchka, FL. Flat site partially tucked behind some trees and set back 80 feet off of the sand street. Well water hookup, septic capabilities with macerator (lav pump), electric with 30 and 50 amp at the box on the pole (approx. 100 feet from primary parking spot) or 30 amp at the parking spot, corner of pole barn. COLD water shower and sink available. There is a pole barn on the property with our camper stored under it. You're welcome to use the remaining space under the pole barn for your leisure, approximately 20x35 ft. We're dog people! Your dogs are welcome but must supervised while you're away from the property. We have some wonderful neighbors and do not want to disturb them. There are security cameras present on the property. This is a wonderful "Forgotten Coast" region of the Florida panhandle with so much to see and do within minutes. This area took a direct hit from Hurricane Michael in 2018 and has worked hard at recovery, with so much rebuilding and growth over the last few years. Howard Creek is an eclectic little fishing community made up of a variety of residents from weekend fishers, summer or winter visitors and full time residents. This little golf cart community offers a small general store, a small community church, a volunteer fire department and two landings to put your boat in. Just 20 minutes from the quaint little beach town of Port Saint Joe, Florida. PSJ is known for its warm, welcoming people, old world Florida feel, dog-friendly beaches, Cape San Blas and Indian Pass. Many locally owned wonderful restaurants, bakeries and shops. It's easy to find a charter out of PSJ if you're interested in fishing! If you leave our site and head north, you're just 35 minutes from the Dead Lakes in Wewahitchka; some gorgeous old Florida natural views and fresh water fishing; bream, large mouth bass, crappie, shellcracker and catfish.

You are able to access the best of both worlds here including Crab Island, the fresh water springs and the big river. Stay in the river and catch bass, bream and catfish or venture into the bay and catch redfish, trout and mullet. The home features a private concrete boat launch, dock, and boat lift in the brackish water canal behind the home for your boat. Enjoy accessing the home for your stay by water or land. Our favorite way to access is by boat- launching at the West Bay bridge in Panama City and running down the intracoastal waterway into the bay. When accessing our property by vehicle, be prepared to drive 17 miles off of highway 79 with a 4 mile portion of that being a dirt road. We can not guarantee the condition of the dirt road portion of your drive for your stay, however the dirt road is graded weekly. Enjoy the seclusion of this area while still being in close proximity to Panama City Beach and 30A. Pier Park in Panama City Beach is where you can find the nearest grocery stores, shopping and restaurants in a 35-40 min drive from the home. Once you are here, its likely you will want to stay and not leave though so bring plenty of good meals to cook and enjoy! The home features a private screened cookhouse with a wood burning grill, satellite TV and plenty of private parking for your vehicle and boat trailer.

I am offering short term rentals of my houseboat this season. It is located on the Apalachicola River about 1 mile upstream of NEAL LANDING near Blountstown and only accessible by motor boat or paddle vessel. The houseboat is in a fixed location and does not move. It is furnished with 2 beds, a futon, and a loft for extra sleeping space and there is a generator for power. THIS IS A PRIMITIVE CAMP, NOT A LUXURY RESORT STAY. You have to bring gasoline for the generator if you want power. The beds have mattress covers and sheets but you should bring your own sleeping bag and pillow cover. You relieve yourself at the boat ramp porta-potty ~1 mile away or in a (compostable) bag inside a 5 gallon bucket with a toilet seat lid out back and put it in my compost bin or haul it out with your trash. You have to bring in bottled drinking water or a Sawyer filter for the river water. There is a propane stove/oven, a charcoal grill and also a fire pit out front if you bring wood or collect it. There is an (outside) propane instant hot water heater with a shower head and a privacy screen if you need to get clean and don't want to hop in the drink. Service is spotty with AT&T but I get a few bars here and there. My goal here is to offer a unique experience and a code to the door for you to use it for the agreed time frame, not provide everything for you. I would be charging more for each stay if that were the case because it would be a real challenge for me to get to it and keep it stocked. If you come prepared for an enjoyable camping trip you will have a great time, if you come with nothing you will probably not. This would be my first time renting it out and so I do not have all of the logistics sorted, but I'd be willing to talk to someone and see if we can work something out if more reasonable amenities/comforts are required. This is an awesome camp for duck hunting or fishing weekend with enough room for a few buddies to drink some beer in the evening and relax, and this is NOT some random cash grab rental property. This is my personal camp retreat that I only want to share with people who are going to be respectful of it and the river. More photos coming soon.

Primitive camping and popups with no restrooms are currently not allowed. Weekly and Monthly discount rates are also available if you go directly to my website and book there. Howard Creek is located just 20 minutes from the St Joe Bay for saltwater fishing or access to the Gulf of Mexico, 15 minutes from the Intracoastal waterway access at White City, FL and 35 minutes from the Dead Lakes in Wewahitchka, FL. Flat site partially tucked behind some trees and set back 80 feet off of the sand street. Well water hookup, septic capabilities with macerator (lav pump), electric with 30 and 50 amp at the box on the pole (approx. 100 feet from primary parking spot) or 30 amp at the parking spot, corner of pole barn. COLD water shower and sink available. There is a pole barn on the property with our camper stored under it. You're welcome to use the remaining space under the pole barn for your leisure, approximately 20x35 ft. We're dog people! Your dogs are welcome but must supervised while you're away from the property. We have some wonderful neighbors and do not want to disturb them. There are security cameras present on the property. This is a wonderful "Forgotten Coast" region of the Florida panhandle with so much to see and do within minutes. This area took a direct hit from Hurricane Michael in 2018 and has worked hard at recovery, with so much rebuilding and growth over the last few years. Howard Creek is an eclectic little fishing community made up of a variety of residents from weekend fishers, summer or winter visitors and full time residents. This little golf cart community offers a small general store, a small community church, a volunteer fire department and two landings to put your boat in. Just 20 minutes from the quaint little beach town of Port Saint Joe, Florida. PSJ is known for its warm, welcoming people, old world Florida feel, dog-friendly beaches, Cape San Blas and Indian Pass. Many locally owned wonderful restaurants, bakeries and shops. It's easy to find a charter out of PSJ if you're interested in fishing! If you leave our site and head north, you're just 35 minutes from the Dead Lakes in Wewahitchka; some gorgeous old Florida natural views and fresh water fishing; bream, large mouth bass, crappie, shellcracker and catfish.

You are able to access the best of both worlds here including Crab Island, the fresh water springs and the big river. Stay in the river and catch bass, bream and catfish or venture into the bay and catch redfish, trout and mullet. The home features a private concrete boat launch, dock, and boat lift in the brackish water canal behind the home for your boat. Enjoy accessing the home for your stay by water or land. Our favorite way to access is by boat- launching at the West Bay bridge in Panama City and running down the intracoastal waterway into the bay. When accessing our property by vehicle, be prepared to drive 17 miles off of highway 79 with a 4 mile portion of that being a dirt road. We can not guarantee the condition of the dirt road portion of your drive for your stay, however the dirt road is graded weekly. Enjoy the seclusion of this area while still being in close proximity to Panama City Beach and 30A. Pier Park in Panama City Beach is where you can find the nearest grocery stores, shopping and restaurants in a 35-40 min drive from the home. Once you are here, its likely you will want to stay and not leave though so bring plenty of good meals to cook and enjoy! I am offering short term rentals of my houseboat this season. It is located on the Apalachicola River about 1 mile upstream of NEAL LANDING near Blountstown and only accessible by motor boat or paddle vessel. The houseboat is in a fixed location and does not move. It is furnished with 2 beds, a futon, and a loft for extra sleeping space and there is a generator for power. THIS IS A PRIMITIVE CAMP, NOT A LUXURY RESORT STAY. You have to bring gasoline for the generator if you want power. The beds have mattress covers and sheets but you should bring your own sleeping bag and pillow cover. You relieve yourself at the boat ramp porta-potty ~1 mile away or in a (compostable) bag inside a 5 gallon bucket with a toilet seat lid out back and put it in my compost bin or haul it out with your trash. You have to bring in bottled drinking water or a Sawyer filter for the river water. There is a propane stove/oven, a charcoal grill and also a fire pit out front if you bring wood or collect it. There is an (outside) propane instant hot water heater with a shower head and a privacy screen if you need to get clean and don't want to hop in the drink. Service is spotty with AT&T but I get a few bars here and there. My goal here is to offer a unique experience and a code to the door for you to use it for the agreed time frame, not provide everything for you. I would be charging more for each stay if that were the case because it would be a real challenge for me to get to it and keep it stocked. If you come prepared for an enjoyable camping trip you will have a great time, if you come with nothing you will probably not. This would be my first time renting it out and so I do not have all of the logistics sorted, but I'd be willing to talk to someone and see if we can work something out if more reasonable amenities/comforts are required. This is an awesome camp for duck hunting or fishing weekend with enough room for a few buddies to drink some beer in the evening and relax, and this is NOT some random cash grab rental property. This is my personal camp retreat that I only want to share with people who are going to be respectful of it and the river. More photos coming soon.

I loved tent camping at Maggie’s. Everything I would need was provided: hot shower, clean port-a-potty, and a partial kitchen. Maggie and Michael are the bests hosts I’ve met in my 5 months of traveling. I was met and shown around when I arrived. These two have great musical talents and a lot of stories that I really enjoyed and learned something from. I would absolutley stay here again and may even make it a must stop when in the area.

4 nights at "Sweet Tupelo" on the "Big River"!
Sweet Tupelo was the perfect spot for our family campsgiving! This was my first time using my new travel trailer, and everything about the setup was perfect for easing me into a new way of camping. The view was incredible and we had loads of space and privacy. My niece told us that when she has kids she will bring them camping at Sweet Tupelo!

5 nights at Sweetwater Daze River Camp
We had a great time spending Thanksgiving on the river. Jay is a fantastic host, very responsive, and even helped us out of a bind when we locked ourselves out of the camper. Our shepherd loved being able to play fetch and not be leashed up, and the site is super clean. We will definitely be back when the river levels are up to do some more fishing.

Very well, kept with a beautiful scenery, the fact that there’s only three campsites is really nice as well so you don’t feel overcrowded. The firewood, being chopped and ready for you for $.50 a log was awesome. Beautiful sunrise, and sunset, I highly suggest you try to stay up just for a little bit because we were able to see a ton of shooting stars.

We had another great stay at Sweet Tupelo! I just wish the weather would have been a little cooler. Facilities are awesome and the smores still tasted great. Definitely recommend this spot.

We loved camping at Sweetwater Daze River camp! The grounds were very well maintained and setup was a breeze. The river was beautiful, and the atmosphere was peaceful. We had a great time hanging out by the river with a nice fire and watching the stars at night. But the best was going with Jay on a river tour! He has so much local knowledge about the river and the surrounding area. The places we got to see were stunning! So be sure to ask him about his boat tour, you won’t be disappointed. This is definitely one of our favorite camp sites, we will definitely be back!

We loved camping on site 1 ar sweet tupelo. The hosts were absolutely phenomenal whenever we need anything they were always there to answer any questions and help us. We certainly will be coming back and would recommend this location to anyone wanting some peace and quiet next to the river. If you want to relax sweet tupelo is your place.

Beautiful spot on the river! Semi secluded campground, peaceful river and a spring not far up it. We brought our kayaks and could have spent more time just exploring the river. We absolutely enjoyed it and plan to come back in the future. The only inconvenience was access to the river was not the easiest but sufficient. We had a few friendly pups come by every day to check on us and make sure we didn’t leave any food out. All in all it was a delightful spot and I hope it doesn’t get too much attention because I want it to be available wherever I get the chance to come back!

BCRV is a family-owned 52-site RV Park just north of the Emerald Coast, located in a quiet location within driving distance of Destin, Miramar Beach, Sandestin and Freeport dining, shopping, and beaches. We're a park and go and offer all the basic necessities in a very quiet forest location, but we're still just north of all of the popular beaches. It's run by me, my wife, my son, and our new little puppy Ollie (he's the most important.) There's a grocery store nearby, and all RV types up to 45ft are welcome here, with 20, 30, and 50 amp hookups available. Water, sewer, trash, electric, and wifi are all included at no additional charge. Doordash is available, and Hungry Howies Pizza also delivers to us if you're not feeling like cooking. Every site has a picnic table and fire pit, and Firewood, Propane, and Laundry facilities are also available on-site for you to purchase or pay for as well. We do NOT have public restrooms.
