Full parking lot behind the property to make it an easy pull-in to our yard from the lot for any size rig. Fence closes behind you to keep you fully enclosed and private. Shared yard space with us in the main house, free use of our beautiful backyard with fairy lights and mango trees. Take as many free mangoes as you like (when they're in season)! Yard is fully fenced in and pet-friendly, but we do have a pet cat on the property and ask that your outdoor pet be monitored when in the yard. Loved camping here! We had the mango tree spot and loved how spacious it felt. We brought our 3 dogs and they really enjoyed the gated dog park area, I thought that was a really nice touch for camper with their furry friends! The property is lovely and quaint. My 4 year old enjoyed roaming around playing in dirt and visiting the horses. We liked sitting in our chairs outside and just watching the horses every morning, it was so peaceful. Everything went smoothly and Julia is very helpful and responsive. I would recommend this property!!

Nice semi rural setting in a driveway, away from town. 30 amp electric and water are provided and the property is very pretty. The only issue is that four-wheel trucks and motorcycles really like to rev their engines while riding on this road, especially on the weekends. The Internet, though available is not always reliable, but that is not unusual for a rural setting. The hosts are very responsive and accommodating. It was a nice stay if you want to get out of the hustle and bustle of West Palm Beach.

What a wonderful place to spend a few days—or even a few weeks—relaxing with all the amenities you could need. My partner and I enjoyed several days of warm sunshine in a beautifully maintained and thoughtfully landscaped neighborhood. Unlike the congestion of many RV parks, this space felt open and private, almost like having our own small property. We also appreciated the nearby shops and the culture of this part of Margate. It was an ideal balance of quiet retreat and access to local life. For outdoor enthusiasts, the location is excellent—just about 30 minutes from outstanding mountain biking and trail systems at Markham Park and Amelia Earhart Park. The experience truly lived up to the promise and was well worth the trip. One minor consideration for those traveling with dogs: while the park is dog-friendly, the streets are narrow and there are many reminders to keep pets off private lawns. It’s manageable, but worth being aware of when planning walks.

Very nice spot with beautiful landscaping. We had no issues and would definitely stay here again. Host very responsive and easy to deal with. The Wi-Fi worked great. We had a 26ft travel trailer and needed to back in from the road. This was not a huge deal as there is virtually no traffic on the road and it is very wide. There was a trash bin and recycling near the site fornus to use which was very convenient.

Boca Raton Surrounds

For a beautiful section of undeveloped Atlantic beach in Boca Raton, head to the Spanish River Park, which also has intercoastal fishing access and a kayak launch. Red Reef Park is another great beach park with the added bonus of the fun and informative Gumbo Limbo Nature Center. If traveling by RV, Boca Raton has a variety of RV parks with amenities like hot showers, picnic tables, and dump stations.

Atlantic Beach Parks

Forty minutes north of Boca, John D. MacArthur Beach State Park features 1.6 miles of beach, plus hammock and mangrove forests to explore. The park makes an excellent day trip—especially for paddlers, who can rent standup paddle boards in the park. Just a bit further up the coast is Jonathan Dickinson State Park, a diverse site for hiking, paddling, and wildlife watching with campgrounds close to the beach.

Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge

The 145,000-acre Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge sits just west of Boca Raton, protecting a northern section of the Florida Everglades. It has nearly 50 miles of remote hiking and biking trails to explore, but many paddling routes.

Everglades National Park

From Boca Raton, it’s a 90-minute drive south to the entrance of Everglades National Park. Visit the boardwalk trails and the visitor center, then consider staying the night at an Everglades campground. The Shark Valley section allows visitors to bike or take a tram ride along a canal teeming with gators.

Big Cypress National Preserve

For more Everglades access, head into the Big Cypress National Preserve along I-75, aka Alligator Alley. Here you can hike along a section of the Florida Trail and enjoy epic views of the stars due the preserve’s status as an International Dark Sky Park.

When to go

Boca Raton’s tropical climate makes it an excellent winter camping destination. Fall and spring are also nice for camping, but summer visitors should be prepared for hot temperatures, high humidity, and frequent rain. Summer and fall are also hurricane season, when campers should monitor storm forecasts before and during their trip.
