A-Lodge Boulder is a 30 room lodge just 2 miles above downtown Boulder, Colorado. We are located in a wilderness area of Boulder Canyon, right at the junction with Fourmile Canyon. We have three #vanlife sites and four tentsites for offer on Hipcamp. We have a BRAND NEW barrel sauna, hot tub, grills, seasonal pool (Memorial Day to Labor Day), meeting space, outdoor beer garden, bathrooms and showers for campers and a wonderful trail to Betasso Preserve right from your campsite. The Fourmile Creek runs through our property along our large lawn area. Great views and you might see bear, deer, elk, moose, foxes, or even a mountain lion! They have everything! A peaceful setting in a space shared with two other trailers (vintage, that they rent to glampers) nice outdoor green spaces to enjoy with picnic tables, hammocks and outdoor cooking area. Then they also have indoor space: two flush toilets, shower, dinning table and chairs, microwave and large screen TV. Two nice silly dogs in residence and two very nice, thoughtful, kind and welcoming hosts in Greg and Olivia. We stayed twice this summer and will surely be back when we return to the area. Only negatives: no sewer hookup for our camper (not a huge deal with flush toilet and sinks mere steps away in the flex room described above) Also the space was a challenge for me to pull out of due to tight turns around some fencing. Since I was nervous about taking out these lovely host’s fence with our 21 ft. Travel trailer, Greg very kindly backed out for us to save me the stress. While the location is excellent and the property lovely and well cared for, it is sometimes a little loud as it is across the street from Niwot high school football and sports fields. Some mornings and Friday nights the practices and games were quite easily heard from their tranquil backyard space. But that was a small trade off for a place that was very peaceful most of the rest of the time.

Well run commercial campground between Loveland & RMNP. Ours & most sites by us had just 50A & 20A electric. We were promised a 30A site so they lent us a converter (great staff esp maintenance guy). Water was great but pressure varied, next time we'll use their water to fill our tank then use our pump for consistent pressure. Sites were a little small but our 30' trailer fit easily. Some sites had big class A's & 5th wheels w/6 slide outs. Staff spread out campers so our neighboring sites were vacant half the week we were there. Beautiful perimeter trail along the river & nice dog park. Very quiet & friendly place, ~20 minutes to a Safeway in Loveland but still has that out-in-the-woods feel. 45 minutes to Estes Park & a bit under an hour to Rocky Mountain National Park. Lots of cabins & RV parks in this area but this one is back in the woods so no noise from US34.

Riverview RV Park had easy accessibility to Rocky Mountain National Park and any service needed was within 7 miles. It was far enough from Loveland, CO to be away from the congestion. It was a very pleasant place to stay.

The A-Lodge is very nice, even if bathroom facilities for van/tent spots are not a lot (two restroom, one with the shower, and a common shower for men). The location is beautiful, in the woods but ten minutes drive from Boulder downtown.

3 nights at Riverview RV Park and Campground

We spent three nights at Riverview RV Park and Campground and found the accommodations to be just fine. We had a small snafu regarding power (thought we were getting 30A, but the pedestals were 50A or 20A only), but the camp store loaned us a dogbone adapter so we could fully power our coach. The entrance to the campground is IMMEDIATELY off the highway, which is convenient ... but be aware this is one of the main highways to Estes Park and there WILL be traffic noise. The entrance is also on a bend, so pull out onto the highway decisions will need to made quickly! Our full hookup site backed up to the Big Thompson River, which was a lovely mountain stream. The site was reasonably level, and there are restroom and shower facilities available to campers. There is also a surprisingly well stocked store located on the grounds, which services travelers and a number of full-time and/or full-season residents who you will share the campground with. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Riverview and would recommend it. It's convenient location - halfway between Loveland, CO and Estes Park / Rocky Mountain National Park - made it a great choice for us as we like to dump our coach and go exploring from there. And there are PLENTY of places to explore from this location.

Olivia and Greg were amazing hosts. Very responsive and helpful while checking in. They have a quiet oasis just outside of Boulder. Clean bathroom adjacent to a flex space with sink and fresh water. I was able to use power to recharge the van’s power system. Couldn’t ask for anything more. Happy adventuring!!!

Employees are friendly, helpful and professional. Conveniently located near Estes Park and Horsetooth Reservoir. Loved my stay here and plan to return whenever I’m in the area.

The facilities advertised were out of order the majority of the time. The staff lost my reservation and kept telling me that my spot was taken, so I had to just stay in a parking spot. Really disappointed.
