Learn more about this land:We have almost 40 acres of beautiful land that is scattered trees in a field and more forested areas. We also have mountain views depending on where you stay! We are right next door to the Pineries Open Space which is a 9 mile trail that you can hike, bike, or horse ride on. It also connects (by crossing a road) to Section 16 which is another 4 mile trail. You can bring your own horses and for a $50 fee we will set up corral panels for your horses to stay. We have farm animals that will be wondering about the land at times. We have water up at our home that you can use to fill up your campers with water or any water containers you need to fill. A camp bucket toilet will be available for campers use. At certain times we offer farm experiences at additional charges. There is a small corner store a couple of miles away, a local feed store where you can buy hay for tour horses, a little local coffee shop and small cafe as well. Come enjoy the country life just minutes from town!
Because we also use our land to graze our animals, we ask that only one vehicle be parked at the site at a time. We have a place for parking additional vehicles if you have more than 1 vehicle.

I widened the gate and moved my mailbox for easier access. Butane fire rings allowed on private property during a fire ban .
Camp anywhere on 60 acres. In one direction there are rolling meadow. Another rocky outcropping. Look to the south and you’ll see the BLM land that shares my fence line. If you want access to town you’re there. You choose how you want to feel. In the woods, in the forest, on huge rocks, flat land or turn around and see CR 1 ( 1/4 mile driveway). Forty five minutes west of Colorado Springs, ten miles to Divide for grocers. One half mile to ice, gas, pizza etc. It is first come first serve with the sites. Two that are near trees for large RVs. One up higher works for pull thru trailers. Plenty of room in the pasture. I just got my first negative review referring to it being dry prairie land. Some pictures are from late last summer.. We haven’t had enough rain yet for it to green up. Also it can be windy.

It is a quiet and peaceful place located 25 minutes from Cripple Creek (if you like gambling) , and 45 minutes from Woodland Park where you can find restaurants, supermarkets, rock and gem shops and more attractions typical to a tourist town.
A place to find peace, and nature with lots of wildlife, you may get a glimpse of a bear, mountain lion, fox, wild turkeys, deer, cayote. Enjoy the outdoor fireplace (weather permitting), watching a beautiful night sky, in a clear sky you can spot the Milky way and some star constellations.
The place is surrounded by many tourist attractions. Gambling, hiking, biking, fishing, Florissant fossil bed with giant tree stumps, horseback riding, waterfalls, wolf and wildlife sanctuary, balloon rides, mining museums, our majestic Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods, Royal Gorge bridge, Rio Grande train rides and more! If you like to shoot arrows bring your bow!
The terrain is rocky so, we highly recommend to keep your eyes on your small kids as well as when they are on the lofts, for security reasons.
Reiki healing sessions are available upon request as well as Reiki training by a Certified Reiki Master.
Smoking is permitted outside when not under a fire ban.
Hipcamper under 21 years old are welcome only under adult supervision.
We recommend to bring your own towels and a flashlight since our lodging has an out side toilet. Please don't expect a flash toilet, we want to emphasize that we offer a porta potty.
We are charging a very small cleaning fee, expecting our guests to leave the place as they found it.

I widened the gate and moved my mailbox for easier access. Butane fire rings allowed on private property during a fire ban .
Camp anywhere on 60 acres. In one direction there are rolling meadow. Another rocky outcropping. Look to the south and you’ll see the BLM land that shares my fence line. If you want access to town you’re there. You choose how you want to feel. In the woods, in the forest, on huge rocks, flat land or turn around and see CR 1 ( 1/4 mile driveway). Forty five minutes west of Colorado Springs, ten miles to Divide for grocers. One half mile to ice, gas, pizza etc. It is first come first serve with the sites. Two that are near trees for large RVs. One up higher works for pull thru trailers. Plenty of room in the pasture. I just got my first negative review referring to it being dry prairie land. Some pictures are from late last summer.. We haven’t had enough rain yet for it to green up. Also it can be windy.

The cottage is located on 4 acres, with orange flags marking the property lines. Our cabin is built near the camp site. The tiny cabin has a propane heater to make this a beautiful and cozy experience.
It is a quiet and peaceful place located 25 minutes from Cripple Creek (if you like gambling) , and 45 minutes from Woodland Park where you can find restaurants, supermarkets, rock and gem shops and more attractions typical to a tourist town.
A place to find peace, and nature with lots of wildlife, you may get a glimpse of a bear, mountain lion, fox, wild turkeys, deer, cayote. Enjoy the outdoor fireplace (weather permitting), watching a beautiful night sky, in a clear sky you can spot the Milky way and some star constellations.
The place is surrounded by many tourist attractions. Gambling, hiking, biking, fishing, Florissant fossil bed with giant tree stumps, horseback riding, waterfalls, wolf and wildlife sanctuary, balloon rides, mining museums, our majestic Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods, Royal Gorge bridge, Rio Grande train rides and more! If you like to shoot arrows bring your bow!
The terrain is rocky so, we highly recommend to keep your eyes on your small kids as well as when they are on the lofts, for security reasons.
Reiki healing sessions are available upon request as well as Reiki training by a Certified Reiki Master.
Smoking is permitted outside when not under a fire ban.
Hipcamper under 21 years old are welcome only under adult supervision.
We recommend to bring your own towels and a flashlight since our lodging has an out side toilet. Please don't expect a flash toilet, we want to emphasize that we offer a porta potty.
We are charging a very small cleaning fee, expecting our guests to leave the place as they found it.

Weekend Trip to Monument Creek Glamping
My husband and I had a really great night at the sunshine tent! I will say, definitely don’t plan to go when it’s retold like we did. The host provides a lovely propane heater, but it can only do so much. The hot tub was a wonderful sight and was very comfortable and clean. The space has a small, private fence around it which makes it that much nicer. We had a very sweet cat visitor with us all night snuggling up to keep warm. Would absolutely recommend!

This is one of the most beautiful camp sites we have been to this year. Tim is great to work with and we appreciate him for sharing this property with us. If you get a chance to book, I would highly suggest you do. Spending time fishing with my young grandaughter was the best part of our trip. and the fishing was excellent. We were extremely thrilled to revisit Will and Jake and their campsite. As always the campsite was clean, inviting, and well maintained. Jake cooked for us again and the gourmet burgers did not disappoint. As the last campers of the season, we were pleased to relax in a pine tree haven. Madeline's property was so tranquil and just a short drive into town. With views of Pikes Peak and plenty of space to spread out. We discovered we were a bit larger than the recommended RV length, but Madeline and her Mom were so accommodating! The property is peaceful and we could let our dogs off leash, which is a plus. Especially for our furry full-time travelers to stretch their legs. I would highly recommend a stay here!

This property is a beautiful hidden gem with amazing night guys, absolute solitude and responsive host.
The cabin was larger than I expected with 2 beds in the loft, 2 beds on the main floor and a couch in the living room next to the wood stove.
The wood stove heats up fast and provides house of heat without needing to reload and the propane burners for Coleman stove are perfect for cooking.
Just bring some battery powered string lights for lighting at night and a headlamp.
There are good hiking options on the property and the adjacent BLM lands.

Doggie and I loved camping with the Jansmas. They were there to greet us coming in, and the tent and equipment were perfection. Extra bedding, lotion, candles, a solar shower and privvy, all were luxury. The dog so enjoyed being off leash all weekend. The highlight of our stay was the birthday dinner that Jake cooked on the final night, with a special creme brulee for dessert complete with candle. The coyotes (and the highway traffic) were a bit closer than I had realized they would be at times, but the rest of the time was quiet and beautiful. If you come, make sure to stop at Costello's Coffee House. We will be back!

The camp exceeded expectations and Tim was an excellent host. Everything was available to keep someone with the camping spirit occupied. Got to enjoy stores by the fire next to a serene beautiful pond and took the canoe out to visit 'rock island' with the kid. Dog friendly and they might have had the best time of us all.
