Additional vehicle parking on the property can be accommodated for groups with more than one vehicle. Butane fire rings allowed on private property during a fire ban . Camp anywhere on 60 acres. In one direction there are rolling meadow. Another rocky outcropping. Look to the south and you’ll see the BLM land that shares my fence line. If you want access to town you’re there. You choose how you want to feel. In the woods, in the forest, on huge rocks, flat land or turn around and see CR 1 ( 1/4 mile driveway). Forty five minutes west of Colorado Springs, ten miles to Divide for grocers. One half mile to ice, gas, pizza etc.  It is first come first serve with the sites.  Two that are near trees for large RVs.  One up higher works for pull thru trailers.  Plenty of room in the pasture.  I just got my first negative review referring to it being dry prairie land.  Some  pictures are from late last summer..  We haven’t had enough rain yet for it to green up.  Also it can be windy.

Operation Dates: 1965 - 1971 Facilities: A-Frame Lodge; Rentals; Ski Patrol; Ski School Lifts: 3 tows; 1 Platter (stats: built 1964 by Poma 1760' long, 280' vertical, capacity 550 people/hour). Elevation of property is 9400’ feet. Runs: 9 total; some names included "Chicken Alley, Leapin' Lena, and Nim-a-go-go" History: This area hosted an average of 350 skiers per day.  The area never had much vertical or snowfall when compared to neighboring hills.  The area can be found near the town of Divide, just outside of Woodland Park.  The area is on a hill to the west of Pikes Peak. The lifts were removed in the early 1990's and the lodge is now a private residence.

We absolutely loved it here! We cannot wait to go back next year. Easy back-in RV spot. Dan met us when we arrived and even helped us set up our pop-up. Our kids loved Dan and all the cool things he had around his property to show them. The wildlife was plentiful!

Weekend Trip to Blue Mountain Ranch

This is one of the most beautiful camp sites we have been to this year. Tim is great to work with and we appreciate him for sharing this property with us. If you get a chance to book, I would highly suggest you do. Spending time fishing with my young grandaughter was the best part of our trip. and the fishing was excellent. I also loved being able to take my dogs without any worries. Just a beautiful property.

Very quiet, secluded, and away from people camp. 8800’ elevation, water, and fun hosts who host a communal campfire each night. Very dog friendly, abcs a fun return to our earlier tent camping days.

1 night at Cliffs Edge campsite

This place was absolutely amazing! Josh was very accommodating with our last minute booking. The campsite was clean and the bell tent with 2 cots and a futon was super comfy! The propane fire pit, hammock, table with an umbrella and driving range were a lovely addition and the view was absolutely spectacular. Truly an A++ glamping experience! Highly recommended!!!

Weekend Trip to Camp Kan-Ne-Ga (Ute for "home")

We were extremely thrilled to revisit Will and Jake and their campsite. As always the campsite was clean, inviting, and well maintained. Jake cooked for us again and the gourmet burgers did not disappoint. As the last campers of the season, we were pleased to relax in a pine tree haven. So glad to make new friends and we will be back next year! Highly recommended-10/10! Thank you!

I took my grandson’s on their first camping trip this weekend. It’s an easy drive about 40 minutes from I25. Beautiful location with views of the mountains. We had fun exploring the rocky canyon a 1/4 mile from our site. Very quiet and beautiful location, highly recommended!

This property is a beautiful hidden gem with amazing night guys, absolute solitude and responsive host. The cabin was larger than I expected with 2 beds in the loft, 2 beds on the main floor and a couch in the living room next to the wood stove. The wood stove heats up fast and provides house of heat without needing to reload and the propane burners for Coleman stove are perfect for cooking. Just bring some battery powered string lights for lighting at night and a headlamp. There are good hiking options on the property and the adjacent BLM lands.
