Bridgeport Reservoir is a lake at the lower end of Bridgeport Valley in Mono County, California. Its earth-filled dam was constructed in 1923 by the Walker River Irrigation District, along the East Walker River. The campground and marina was built I-don't-know-how-long ago, but it sure is nice! About Us: Welcome to Bridgeport Reservoir Marina and Campground. Join us for the classic camping and fishing experience with unique views of the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range. Within the Toiyabe National Forest, Bridgeport Reservoir Marina and Campground is conveniently located near two distinct hot spring areas. A true angler's paradise, the Reservoir has excellent trout fishing from spring through fall and is close by to multiple rivers for incredible fly fishing. A 35 minute drive on highway 120 will take you to the Tioga Pass Gate of Yosemite National Park. This gate is a great start to several different areas inside of the park that you may want to visit beyond that gate. Off-road enthusiasts would not have enough time in one visit to explore all of the 4x4 trails, abandoned mines, and sites in the area as well as the famous trail that brings you right to the Bodie Ghost Town. Climate and Ecosystem: At 6,400 feet (1,950 meters), this high desert climate has little to moderate tree coverage and gets hot during the days and cool at night. The conditions are much like Joshua Tree National Park or Alabama Hills camping area. During your visit, you will notice many flying insects that resemble mosquitos. These Chironomid are harmless and do not bite. On the contrary, the mosquito presence is very minimal. Swimming in the lake is possible usually between April to July.

This totally off-grid ranch is surrounded by Pike National Forest, yet has easy access from a paved road. We offer several accommodations and glamping sites, as well as sites for moderate sized RVs, travel trailers, truck campers, vans, tents, and hammocks. Additionally, we have sites for small groups (up to 16 people) and large groups (35-200 people). NEW FOR 2025 - two separate, professionally designed 18-hole disc golf courses with PDGA regulation baskets, and a Pro Shop with a free 9-hole putting course, which is great for those who have never played disc golf and want to try it out, (we have free loaner discs). Our Hipcamp guests get a 10% discount on player fees, their children play free. Portable toilets are only a short walk away from sites. We also have several cornhole toss games set up. Friendly, well-mannered dogs are welcome to enjoy YOUR campsite off leash, but please clean up after your dog. We are an ideal basecamp for hiking or biking trail enthusiasts,with direct access to the Little Scraggy Trail and Segment #3 of the Colorado Trail. Little Scraggy Trailhead is 3.5 miles away, with easy access for biking, hiking, or horseback riding on the many other trails of the Buffalo Creek area. You might prefer rock climbing Little Scraggy or fishing the gold-medal waters of the South Platte River canyon below Cheesman Dam and the waters near Deckers. For a day trip, Wellington Lake is only 30 minutes away for no-wake water sports. Many people enjoy kayaking on the North Fork of the South Platte downstream from nearby Buffalo Creek. This is a working ranch where we raise and train Shire draft horses and also ponies. Our particular interest is in carriage driving, and we offer driving experiences upon request.

Be near the park, but feel that complete privacy. These sites are very spaced out from each other and are large. No need to cram together! Explore the mines and hang out on our Groveland, California ranch! We have 824 acres on a beautiful cattle ranch with two small ponds. On our property, you'll find frogs, turtles, oak trees, pine trees and stunning views of Yosemite. We have several campsites to choose from including RV camping, tent camping, and a glamping tent. Pets are welcome. Campfires are permitted as long as there is no fire ban. Potable water and toilet are available onsite. There's a golf course less than a mile away. We are also very close to town. In just a few minutes, you can drive to our local grocery store and pizza parlour. We are a 10-minute drive to Pine Mountain Lake. Beautiful Pine Mountain Lake offers golfing, dining, horseback riding, water sports and an airport. When you come to the ranch it feels like you are hundreds of miles away from civilization, but still close to everything you need. It is incredibly peaceful! This is a great place for someone who wants to escape city life and enjoy the tranquillity of nature. Much of the ranch is open wilderness for you to explore, and it's not uncommon to see deer, frogs, turtles, quail, turkeys, or other countless species of birds. Diamond Gulch Camp is the perfect place to relax if you’re a photographer, artist, family or a group of friends looking for a place to camp near Yosemite. A small portion of the property was used as a gold mine years ago, and you may find remnants of old home sites if you go exploring. We're not far from Wards Ferry Road, Groveland, Lake Don Pedro and other interesting places.

You could say Boise National Forest is in the tri-forest area. It is surrounded on all sides by Payette, Salmon-Challis, and Sawtooth National Forests, it is situated conveniently close to both urban fun in Boise, and limitless wilderness adventures everywhere else. Alpine tundra is dotted with evergreen forest in the green rolling hills here, topped with snow, and anchored by sparkling valley waterways. The Payette River is great for rafting, while Banks Beach and Beehive Bend are just some of the prime access points on the forest’s 250 lakes and reservoirs (Arrowrock Reservoir has surprisingly primo salmon fishing for central Idaho). Hikers will find 500 trails, including some that lead to 360-panoramic views at fire lookouts. The ambitious should try 10,000-foot high Trinity Mountain, while more liesurely trekkers will get just as good a view at Silver Creek. As if that’s not all enough to keep you busy, there are also endless mountain biking trails, including a scenic route along Shafer Butte. You’ll have your hands full at this intersection of so many great parks!

When we were kids we spent time on this property riding bike, horses, and exploring. We have turned this 13 acre property into 22 site campground that we are excited to share with you. John is the best. Super friendly, accommodating, entertaining and was extremely responsive to our every need. Beautiful grounds and meticulously matained. The location was perfect. His gift shop is not to be missed. Hated to leave and would highly recommend anyone visiting Forks Washington, Olympic Adventure Campground is the place to stay. If nothing else, you have to meet John. His new friend Robert

The place was great. We were there on a memorial day weekend so it was packed! All the other campers were polite, and the owner John, was great. He was a great host and he stopped by to make sure we had everything we needed. The accommodations were a bit rustic, but we had every thing we needed. We did RV camping, and although there aren’t very many RV spots, we were quite comfortable. The RV camping there is what you’d call Boondocking. So there are no service. However, there is access to water, porta potty and showers on the property that are quite comfortable. Our friends did the tent camping that include well stocked campground and tent. They felt like they didn’t need to bring anything, but Food clothes and toiletries. It was a good deal! There’s a well stock shopping center with high-quality foods within 10 minutes. And a few restaurants that make it really easy to pack light!

Weekend Trip to Olympic Adventure Campground

We are so happy that we finally stopped and stayed at Olympic adventures. It is conveniently located near several of the various beaches and NP entrances. We met with a wonderful team that checked us in within minutes and helped us secure some firewood. The facilities are great and clean. We are a family with pre-teen and a teenager. Everyone had a blast and backing up to the forest was great for exploring while we prepared meals. We hope to come back soon and encourage others, especially families, to try out this gem!

Nice Campground, we'll kept. Sites were sizable, not crowded. Bathrooms were minimal size and one step above an outhouse, but clean. Showers available for unlimited $5, not well regulated though. Surprisingly great store with many fun and good things available.Overall very happy and would stay again.

The campgrounds are nice and clean and organized. John was super friendly! The little gift shop was fun to browse through and get ice and firewood. The kids had a blast playing in the woods behind our spot (21). The location is central for exploring the Olympic Peninsula- about a hour drive to all the main sites (Hoh, Sol Duc, Ruby Beach). Rialto is just down the road about a 20 min drive.

This campground was really pretty- we were in site 23 with our 33ft 5th wheel. Lots of trees, full hookups and good sized spaces. John was very nice to deal with, and good communication. Our friends joined us last minute and called to make reservations. That’s the way to go, in my opinion, as we paid about $13 more per night booking through Hipcamp due to their fees. That’s excessive to me.

We love every stay here. The staff is friendly, the park is small, quiet and clean. The pull-through sites are specious and the river is peaceful! Like many parks in this corridor, it’s right on the road but you barely notice. We can’t wait to come back.

Olympic Adventure Camp was a lovely little gem - very convenient, beautiful treed setting with super nice management. John was helpful and always available. We had a full hookup site. It was a great location to do everything that Olympic National Park offers. Our only complaint is that showers are $5.00. If you’re not looking for a “resort” with lots of amenities but want a nice place to use as a base for Olympic National Park exploration it’s perfect!! I highly recommend!

Wonderful campground with a great staff! Our spot overlooked the beach, which was a nice welcome as we arrived, and we couldn't see the street. We also enjoyed the fish and chips at the restaurant below. It's a wonderful spot overall.
