Quiet, private campsites in the Redwoods. Raven Haven 1 has Easy back in from low traffic county road for small trailers and large RV's. Large, approximate 1/4 acre, mostly forested with nooks and crannies for private sleeping and tents. 2 large level areas. Raven Haven 2 is smaller and closer to my home, but still very private and quiet with more Foxes and Ravens. Great for tents, vans, and smaller RVs. Beautiful, instantly warming, fire safe propane fire pit provided for heat. Wood fire pit also available when it is safe. You must be self contained. Haul it in , haul it out, please. Water and electricity available. Many forest animals and Ravens living on the property. Your well behaved dog will not require a leash at Raven Haven 1. Sorry, due to the tiny goldfish pond, no dogs at Raven Haven 2, small well behaved dogs on leash is a possibility. Really great for campers wanting to relax in the Redwoods, not so great for loud partying. These are not party camps. It is in the forest so the mostly Redwood canopy provides some protection from the weather. Close to many beaches and parks. Albion is 7 miles south of Mendocino and 15 moles south of Fort Bragg. This is a lovely, level spot overlooking the coastal trees (but not quite the ocean). There is a large, level parking area and some wooden lounge chairs in a clearing, with a picnic bench and several tent spots. The approach is on a gravel road and then a gravel track, well-described in the listing. The location itself is wonderfully quiet. I heardbirdsong in the fog each morning. One should be aware that there are no amenities (water/toilet etc.), and no fire pit, all of which was fine with me as a self-contained van camper. Just down the road, the center of Pt Arena is a small town with store, movie theater, etc. Visiting the coastal towns was easy from Pt. Arena. All in all, a lovely experience that I would happily come back to!

A lovely, private little spot with a fire pit, chairs, and tables provided. Jackie was very sweet and left a basket of useful goodies for camping! The water and electrical hookups were a huge bonus! We will be back to escape the heat and crowds!

Raven Haven 1 was lovely and peacefully quiet. Easy to pull our RV in and hook up electricity. Jackie provided a fire pit, candles, table and chairs, map of local area, and came by to see if we needed anything. We would definitely stay here again.

Flat space for parking our van which was great. We were greeted with a camp table, two chairs, firewood, a little basket of niceties, and string lights. A fire ring kept us warm. And we had the place to ourselves… very private. Our shy dog loved it! The host was sweet and accommodating.

We had such a good time laughing at all the noises the ravens made for us:) This site does not have a toilet, but we visited Van Damme SP just 15 minutes away which has flushable toilets! Quiet and secluded camping spot inside a private property. The way to the site was clearly marked. The site was pretty much surrounded by trees and it was very cozy. It was also very close to the Point Arena downtown that has a lot of cute little stores and galleries.
