2 nights at A California Dream: Camp Hoppy
Camp hoppy was is an amazing, beautiful spot tucked away in the redwood forest. We had an amazing time enjoying the fire under the trees, listening to the creek, watching the moon rise, and spotting some really interesting wildlife. It’s the perfect balance of being immersed in nature while still having the comforts you need: an open-air space for cooking, hot water, and a nice, clean bathroom.
Having the entire property and creek to ourselves made it feel like a peaceful little retreat. It truly has everything you need for a perfect nature getaway. I’d love to come back in the future. This is a lovely Hipcamp spot!

We (family of 4) absolutely enjoyed our weekend getaway at Camp Caz! What a beautiful setting and cozy cabin- and Carrie has thought of everything you might need during your stay. We appreciated the downloadable and detailed app-handbook that answered any and every question, the well-equipped kitchen, the variety of board games, exploring the creek, and all the nice details. Wish we could have stayed longer!

We had such a peaceful stay. The cabin had everything we needed for cooking, sleeping, games, hanging out and relaxing. The river was a treat with its clear water and amazing scenery. We are definitely going to come back and stay longer!

Another AMAZING trip at Camp Hoppy with our group, this time with 2 doggos in tow! The site is huge and allowed us to split up amongst the camp area, as well as in the lower site near the river.

Camp Caz is the most magical cabin / river / forest experience. I don’t want to give a review because I want to keep it all to myself! The cabin vibe is so cool, the bathtub under the hanging vines is amazing, the hike down to the river is energizing, the beach and river with inner tubes is perfect. My 9 year old saw a blue tail skink, butterflies, crawdads, dragonflies, fish and tons of salamanders in the water! Can’t wait for next year.

Great spot! Loved getting into the river and hanging around the property. Some good platforms for sleeping on. One note; the yurt by the river has seen better days and we opted not to sleep in it. Otherwise, a beautiful and tranquil spot in a perfect location.

We love this place and come back every year. It's beautiful, peaceful and private, with a creek running behind the cabin and the woods all around. There are lots of water related activities nearby because of the river and Armstrong Park with the redwoods is also quite close. A gem for sure!

Weekend Trip to CAMP CAZ
What a wonderful cabin in a beautiful and peaceful setting! We made use of all the spaces and amenities this cabin had to offer and could not be happier with our weekend away. The kitchen had everything we need to prepare our meals, the fireplace added a beautiful ambiance, and we dined al fresco for every meal with the sounds of birds and the river in the distance.
We spent a spectacular afternoon lounging in the sun and swimming in the river which felt very private and secluded. It was our own little slice heaven.
We filled the outdoor clawfoot tub with hot water and bubbles and had a very romantic moment looking out onto the forest through the hanging ivy.
Our whole stay was fantastic and Carrie's communication was excellent the entire time. We will absolutely be coming back.

We loved camp hoppy! It was a beautiful space, clean, open with plenty of land for the dogs to run around in. The creek was a short hike down and we had a great time in the water. It was a hot weekend for May but the redwoods at the campsite provided adequate shade and it was a lot cooler than expected.

What a special spot - both inside and out we loved Camp Caz. Lounging by the river and exploring the banks with kids was super fun. We did s’mores outside, hung out in hammocks on the deck, grilled and after Al fresco. Inside was cozy and big bonus to have a full kitchen and bath in a remote setting. Highly recommend, perfect for a family of four.

What a lovely escape from the hustle and bustle of the Bay Area! Our two kids (3 and 5), husband, pup and I had a wonderful time exploring the property and creek. Hammock time was very popular, too! It was clear from all the small touches around the cabin and property that the owners really care about and invest in the place. We will be back!
