What a beautiful site! The airstream was well maintained, clean, and comfortable. It had all the basic amenities both in the kitchen and the bathroom. I appreciated the host providing coffee, water, and milk. The internet provided by the host and the cell reception at the site were both very fast. My friends booked the other airstreams on site and we had the whole place to ourselves. However, I can see it getting a bit cozy if there are multiple groups there at the same time.

Stunning view! Airstream #2 is definitely the best of the 4 given the view with bed up against the window. Had fun with making smores and pizza on with pizza oven and firepit and got a great gravel bike ride in nearby along the coast. Wifi was good too to work from here.

Dean's property is amazing. The airstreams are immaculate and the view incredible. The perfect glamping experience within a 30-ish minute drive of San Francisco. Highly recommend for a weeknight getaway!

2 nights at Sugarloaf Ridge State Park Glamping

This spot was wonderful. The bed is comfortable, the tent is spacious, and site 4 was definitely the best of the glamping bunch. The tent gets morning sun, but most of the site stays cool and shaded throughout the day. Note that there's a huge open space between sites 3 and 4, so they would be great to rent together for a large group. The park staff were very friendly and helpful, the showers were warm with decent pressure, and the bathrooms were clean. And the hiking was fantastic! They have a waterproof map you can buy at the visitor center for about $7 that's better than the free one (well worth it), and the free one has descriptions of the hikes including length, elevation changes, sun cover, vegetation, and views. Overall the stay was peaceful and just what we wanted. Highly recommend!

Weekend Trip to May's Luxury Farmstays

We felt very welcomed. The cabin was everything we imagined and more. The hosts meticulously made sure we had everything we could need or want for our vacation. All you’ll need to do is pack your clothes. Literally. They have a beautiful property. The chickens and roosters are people friendly and so adorable. We thought we would hear the roosters but we didn’t. They provide earplugs by the bedside if you need them. But you won’t. Being close to all the animals we thought we might smell the coop but there wasn’t a foul smell anywhere on the property. The pond is beautiful. The host indicated we could wade in the pond but the weather was bad. The trails were right off the property and beautiful. I always like to report the good and ugly about our experiences at locations we visit. Reviews from past visitors give you the real lowdown of the place. I’m sorry but there wasn’t a negative I can think of. Honestly I want to move in!

The property is stunning, the accommodation is well thought out, treee house is AMAZING, and Jessica is such a thoughtful host - she shared a bubble machine for the kids, there’s an entire playground for them as well, and an extra air mattress to make a family even more comfy. Loved our Glamping Trip to Sugar Loaf Ridge State Park. Everything very nice except I have two requests. We had a party of three at the glamping tent with 3 cars and another picnic table would have been very convenient. The other request is a dishwashing station with hot water. Many are camping in TV's and have access to dishwashing. But if your camping washing dishes can be a real challenge. But a great park and a great trip. Hope to go back soon!

The cost is $150 per night on weekends (Fri and Sat) and $125 per night on weekdays (Sun-Thurs). There is a 2-night minimum stay required between Memorial Day and Labor Day. In our family-friendly campground, our tents are 16-Foot Canvas and come with one queen-size bed, two futon lounge chairs (May be converted to twin beds), rugs, tables, lighting, and complementary firewood the first night. At no additional cost, we can add up to two twin beds to each tent upon request to sleep up to 6 people. 8 people max allowed at the campsite. The glamping sites include a picnic table, fire ring, outdoor seating, and room for additional tents if desired. All sites are easy walking distance to flush toilets and a bathhouse, with large, clean, coin operated hot shower rooms. There is no cell service in the park, but free WiFi is available at the Visitor Center. PLEASE NOTE that Bedding (sheets, pillows, blankets) IS NOT included in a standard rental, but is available as an add-on. Guests are encouraged to bring their own bedding whenever possible. You can take a gorgeous coastal drive to Bodega that is only 15 miles away. Historic Fort Ross is another beautiful 20 mile coastal drive. Bike Enthusiast love the back roads out here and the Biggest Attraction Is… Wait for it…. Wineries are everywhere! During the summer there are several Music Venues close by too. The Rio Nido Roadhouse has outdoor music on the weekends. Rockin the River is every other Thursday in Guerneville. The Monte Rio Variety Show just celebrated it 111th year to a sold-out crowd. Welcome to Calistoga! We invite you to stay on our land, which has been in my family for over 100 years. Our land is beautiful- it is also dry, hot, rocky, and full of wildlife of all kinds. You are in for a true nature escape when you stay with us. There are 3 options: Shaded Oak ($59) which is the only one accommodating a small trailer, but also a tent; Married Manzanitas ($59) is a very large, privately wooded site that is walk-in or requires 4wd/ground clearance (drive in at your own risk, or park and walk in), tent only, or also offers an optional Cabin for $30 more per night; Coral Cabin on the hilltop ($109/night, two night min. + $30 cleaning fee) is closest to the civilized amenities, electricity, wifi etc and has a TV with roku. Your toilet and shower are still outside, but this is the closest to a hotel experience with clean sheets ready on your arrival. Cabin has AC for hot summer days, and a private deck with dinner bar around back. All sites have access to the hilltop Recharge Station, recently cleaned up! Recharge Station has an outdoor shower, two bathtubs, tables and chairs, and a large stainless steel countertop with sink. If multiple sites are occupied, Coral Cabin has priority for use of facilities before 9am and after 5pm. Shaded Oak and Married Manzanitas guests can use the facilities between 9am-5pm, being mindful of each other's privacy and/or coordinating shower times. Each site has its own compost toilet, and Married Manzanitas has its own ambient-temperature shower. As much as possible, guests should use the toilet in their own sites. When Coral Cabin is vacant, there is more flexibility in using the amenities at the Recharge Station, which include: -sink with well water (filtered and drinkable but not your city water). -Mini-fridge with freezer -Microwave, coffee maker, toaster -Camp stove to use outside; propane grill is currently out of commission (will update when it is fixed) -Games, puzzles, books, sports equipment, a kids telescope -kayak equipment to rent, tennis rackets/balls for courts in town Dan is your camp host, but is not always on site. Wise Oak Farm

Welcome to Wise Oak Farm, a unique tiny house compound on 5 acres located between Santa Rosa and Sebastopol. The stay area consists of four buildings, the main one being a super cozy tiny house built on a 16' trailer, filled with custom woodwork and unique details. It sleeps up to four and has a kitchen (sink, microwave/oven, mini fridge, and propane stove) and small dining area. Immediately adjacent is a luxury "outhouse" with full sized hot shower and a composting toilet. There is an additional converted farm shed with a pull out couch and TV to relax comfortably indoors (the "rec room"). The outdoor area consists of a breakfast patio and large barn with couches and dining table. We are just starting to develop the property as a working farm. Currently we have a dozen chickens, 30+ fruit trees, and cows pasturing in the main field. The location is fantastic for exploring the area. In the middle of wine country, it's only a thirty minute drive to the coast or to the redwoods, and one hour from San Francisco. Plus easy access to the bike path leading to both Santa Rosa and Sebastopol. Weather issues: The tiny house has heating but no AC, which is not normally an issue unless daytime temperatures are in the mid 90s or higher. Summer nighttime temps are usually in the 50s and the space cools rapidly with windows open. The rec room has both heating and AC, which can be slept in in the case of extreme temperatures. In the winter, heavy rainfall can make the stay unpleasant as you need to move outside frequently between buildings.

The greenhouses were abandon for many years and are undergoing restoration, however, they are still magnificent with some cacti being 40-50 years old! Guests are welcome to tour them and the property where there is also a beautiful pond. This property is the perfect peaceful getaway. In the dome, we have floor pads, a space heater, side tables and a lamp. We advise to bring your own bedding. Temperatures do drop so please plan accordingly. Bathrooms with sinks are near the dome.
