Citrus groves have windmachines for frost protection and if the nighttime temperature dips below 36 degrees, they start up automatically. Beautiful view of the King River. Hosts were there to greet and guide us to our campsite. Enjoyed being able to sit by the river and watch the water glide by. Campsite was very level and utilities very close. We stayed at the full hookup site #1. There is a narrow road to drive down, but is well paved. If want to eat out your best bet is to drive to King bury. We had pizza at Corsaros Family Pizza and it was great.

I was so grateful for this beautiful spot to rest on my long roadtrip back to Arizona from Washington state. I reached out later than I normally would when I realized 9 hours in my car was as far as I could push myself and I didn't have it in me to go the rest of the 2 more I had hoped to. Frances responded near immediately and accepted my request. She wasn't home but her kind husband greeted me and got me settled into a nice spot along the orchard and invited me to stretch my legs and walk the farm before sleeping. There are two pups who understand the assignment and make sure you know they are ready to do their job of alerting their humans of your arrival. One is very sweet and is happy to be pet, the other is happier if you keep your distance. Both were quick to quiet down and gave me the old sniff test to make sure I was one of the good ones and flopped in the grass and went to bed. The property was so beautiful. I loved my stay here and got enough rest to power through another 10 hours closer to home the next morning. So grateful for a safe place to sleep on the road. Thank you!

Second year here and again it was a hit. Such a beautiful spot tucked away in the middle of nowhere between acres of farmland. Huge spot accommodated 26 of us comfortably. Super clean restrooms and site. Heads up for anyone coming though. All of us were demolished by mosquitoes so definitely bring bug spray. You will get bitten all over. Overall, it’s a beautiful spot. You will not be disappointed.
