This is a very remote 40 acres. 1 hour of gravel road from highway 101, accessing up the bell springs road, Alternatively you can access this place from garberville Ca, it takes about 1 hour 15 minutes and is 1/2 paved and 1/2 gravel. This is not for hip campers wanting a quick stop while traveling the highway 101. This cabin was a welcome retreat from my wife and I's busy lives as music teachers. We had ample space and privacy to unplug and relax. The closeness to nature may make you think there's little to no creature comforts, but that'd be a false assumption. Hot showers, heating, wifi, and all the necessities for cooking and coffee We could not be more happy with our stay, and eagerly await our next opportunity to return!

I loved it. The land and cabin felt cared for and welcoming. Our stay was in November so pretty cold but very cozy and worth it. I had a lovely, cozy stay at Bon's cabin. The location is perfect - 10 mins from Elk, 20 mins to Mendocino village, 25 mins to Philo - and the drive is stunning. The cabin itself is incredibly private and cozy with all the amenities, from a full kitchen, to an equipped bathroom, to comfy beds. Then there's the outdoor tub (!!!), wood-fired sauna, and pizza oven. Though Bon has provided space heaters, one of my favorite parts of my stay was keeping the cabin nice and warm with the wood stove. Truly a perfect fall getaway, I can't wait to come back!

The hosts were so welcoming and the yurt was super cozy. The yurt was heated so it’s a perfect year round stay. You’ll get to enjoy beautiful gardens the entire stay. Also I 10/10 recommend showering at night because you can see the stars above you the entire time. I would definitely stay here again.

This funky little cabin in the forest was just what I needed. I spent most of my time lounging on the outside bed, and soaking in the tub. The Huckleberries are abundant, and the beach is a short drive 10-15 minutes. What a perfect combination of nature and modern convenience. Highly recommend!

This place is incredible. The ambiance created by the earthy decor inside and out was relaxing, refreshing and so connected to nature. They brought the outside in and made the inside blend seamlessly with it. Beautiful properties have an irresistible charm to them. The hot tub right off my room was without a doubt the most pampered I have been in a long while. The accoutrements were perfect for any anticipated need. I loved experiencing this space and I would recommend it without hesitation.

I love this place, such beautiful grounds and the view with the hot tub was incredible. The house was cozy and there were so many places to lounge and enjoy the view. The dog loved this place as well; so much to smell and I was so happy to have a place for her to enjoy and not worry about her escaping. Good Things Farm is a truly magical place to say. Kirsten and Evan have created a truly magical little haven! They are extremely gracious and kind hosts! My partner and I stayed here for 2 nights and really enjoyed the space. We had intended to use this as just a home base to explore Fort Bragg and Mendocino on a long weekend, but honestly we found that staying at the farm was the probably the main experience in itself. We really enjoyed the bikes that were provided with easy access to the leisurely coastal trail around the town. Mendocino is also only a short drive away (30 mins) and has gorgeous beach views. But what really made the experience so great was just staying on the farm. It's like having private access to a botanical garden! The hot outdoor shower was also a to die for experience. Two shower heads!!! If you are looking for the glamping experience than this has to be the best it can ever get! Also be sure to visit the farm box out front! Lots of really affordable and delicious fruits, meats, snacks, etc.

Fantastic home to escape to! The view, deck, outside shower and hot tub created such a relaxing atmosphere. The home is clean, comfortable, and very inviting. Great location- we walked into town/the coast for our meals. Restaurant selections were perfect- coffee, beer, cocktails, and food were all great across the board. We would definitely recommend an escape here to anyone who is lucky enough to book this home!

Stacey thank you for a week of relaxation with our 3 beagles. We were able to relax because Stacy’s outside yard is completely fenced in. Our pups had a field day running and playing. It was like home away from home. Everything you would need is in her home for you to use except a coffee pot but I brought that. We will definitely be back often now that we found her place.

A beautiful spot! The yurt was clean and cozy. River close by is so amazing and I can't say enough about how wonderful and dreamy the garden is! So many flowers and fruit trees! Make sure to visit the farm box for flowers and delicious goodies. The pesto is so good! Just book a visit and you will see how idyllic Good Things Farm is!

What a magical place to relax and restore your soul. Kristen and Evan have created the perfect little cozy yurt experience. It was so beautiful, we had everything we needed, and Kristen and Evan were such kind and helpful hosts. The outdoor shower was invigorating and we loved being able to see the trees! It was so wonderful to watch the sun come up and cast glowing light on the trees from our bed in the morning while sipping on a cup of coffee. We added the fire wood and flower picking experiences to our stay and it was truly the "cherry on top." Sitting under the stars while enjoying a crackling fire was so nice and wandering around the garden in the morning was absolutely the best, I can't describe how fun it was to walk amongst the flowers and make a bouquet! I highly recommend making Kristen and Evan's yurt your home for the weekend!!! It was truly an unforgettable experience that I will treasure forever!
