The property is one acre of rural woods. One and a half miles down the ridge and across the Albion Bridge is a campground with canoeing, fishing, and small beach. Mendocino Village is 7 miles and Fort Bragg is 17 miles. At the bottom of Albion Ridge Road is a restaurant called the Ledford House. Beautiful sunsets can be seen from the restaurant. The surrounding area offers hiking, kayaking and fishing in the Noyo Harbor. House of Trees has NO cooking facilities inside. Food to go can be warmed up in the toaster oven or toast made in the morning. I have provided a notebook with some of the restaurant menus in the area. The fire ban has been lifted so you can have a bonfire in the garden which is also not for cooking. 5/31/24 I have installed an outdoor sink to wash dishes, and gas grill with side burner. You are welcome to cook outside. I have provided non stick pans, pots, and colander for the side burner so you can cook eggs, pasta, whatever you would cook on a stove.Basically a nice place to spend the night allowing campers to explore the beautiful coast. Coffee maker, toaster oven, Queen sized bed, claw foot bathtub and shower. Small refrigerator. Stocked with glass wear, paper plates and utensils. This she shed sits behind my cabin. It is 2 years old. Picnic table and chairs on the deck are provided. There is no cooking inside or outside.

House of Trees
We loved staying at the house of trees. The unit is very quiet and cozy. The bed is very comfortable and includes lots of pillows. Bathtub adds even more tranquility to your stay.

Wonderful location with more amenities than I had time to use. I loved the huge claw-foot tub and was impressed that the water was as hot as I like it! Very nice stay!

Cute tiny home 30min to Fort Bragg
Jan’s place was so cute! I had an amazing time staying at her place! It was only a 30 minute drive to Fort Bragg where I booked Skunk train/ rail bike tour. That day I also hiked the Russian Gultch Waterfall loop which I highly recommend. The tiny home is beautifully built with so many cool details such as the stained glass, LED candles on a timer, and 100 year old doors (Jan let me know she got from a neighbor.) The place was very clean with all the amenities I needed. She even had a nice Keurig on the fridge that could grind fresh coffee. The bathtub was awesome and I had a peaceful night soaking in the tub one night. The fire pit was easy to use and Jan provided wood for a night. The stars from the camp were so bright! The bed was so comfy with plenty of pillows and blankets. No cooking except for the option to bbq. This was fine though since I planned to dine out anyway. The first night I went to the Ledford restaurant just 5 minutes away. Had drinks and dinner at the bar which has an amazing view! The staff were so friendly too. Overall I had a lovely time. As a solo female traveler I felt safe the entire time too. So glad I picked Jan’s place for my mini vacay! :) Thank you Jan!!

Above and Beyond! 🚀
Jan’s place was better than advertised. The place is easy to find and at a very convenient but quiet location. Onsite the appliances, teas, firepit, and lotions were top of the line. Jan herself is proactive, communicates well and tried to do everything to give you a warm welcome. I’m excited to go back!

Cute cabin, very comfortable bed and bath. Friendly host. Close to the ocean and redwood forest. We brought groceries from out of town and ate sandwiches and charcuterie as there was no cooking at the facility.
