(Please note our 2nd bathroom is a good walk uphill from the campsites). Our larger bathroom campers can use with a shower and small fridge to store your food.
We also have a playground with swing set for kids to enjoy.
PLEASE NOTE: Bookings must be made at least 48 hours in advance.
FIRES: No fires are to be lit by the campers without verbal consent from property owner and instruction. SEE property owner/camp host upon arrival about what you may use on the property. He will provide instructions.
TASTINGS: Macala Orchards Olive Oil, Various Jellies and Jams Pomegranate Juice all made from what we grow are available for tasting upon request. Please let us know prior to arrival if you are interested in a scheduled tasting during your stay! We can provide a tasting if we have the proper staff during your visit. Our products are available for purchase, with or without a tasting. We recommend you bring cash if you are interested. We also take Venmo!
GETTING TO VILLA MACALA: The road up to Villa Macala is a dirt road uphill, all vehicles fair well, we attempt to keep the road maintained as well as possible, after heavy rains it is a bit more bumpy but safe. Drive slow!

If horses or golf isn't your thing, you can visit Temecula Valley wineries which are all ~ 1/2-3.8 miles of the cottage gates. We allow pets for a $10 per pet/per booking. If you want to bring a pet, please add the pet fee listed as an extra during the booking process.
There are off road areas nearby. Bring your motor bike, quad or buggy and throw up some dirt.
Not too far there is a Casino, a store open 24 hrs. and a restaurant call for hours. 20-30 minutes away from the Temecula stores and wineries.
You don’t have to worry about packing up a bunch of camping equipment, our camp provides a 35 foot RV if you prefer a roof over your head and a place to sit down for a meal. The power runs off a generator ( you will need to provide your own fuel. it is a 5 gallon capacity). has indoor and outdoor lights, a radio, outlets to plug in a fan or heater or a phone/computer. There are dishes and utensils,pots/pans and a toilet. Outside water is provided to wash up and clean the dishes. There is a propane b.b.q, propane fire ring, outdoor bench, table and camp chairs. included in the cost.

Weekend Trip to Kashmir - A Majestic Retreat
We had the most relaxing weekend staying at Kashmir! We planned this quiet escape as a Babymoon and retreat from our busy work/school lives and it did not disappoint! As it was a chilly/windy weekend, we really enjoyed the hot tub and hot outdoor shower! Even the indoor fireplace was a great touch on the cooler mornings and evenings. We cooked our own dinner two nights and went out to Sky High Pizza the other night. We slept great in the cozy atmosphere after getting out during the day for some easy hikes inside the park. We talked many times about coming back in the future when our little boy is big enough to enjoy and explore the wonders of Joshua Tree!

Weekend Trip to Relaxing Hide Away
We found the Relaxing Hideaway Caza Retreat to be a lovely stay! Mercedes was super accommodating on our arrival. The place had lovely views, including the stars at night. The size of the place was exactly what we needed just for sleeping and the shower outside was actually very cool! Would recommend if looking for a place to stay!

This is a great little cabin for a family. It has lots of beds and everything you need for a getaway. It’s walking distance from the shops, restaurants, and lake. The owner responds super quickly and is very accommodative.

1 night at Villa Macala
Villa Macala is a great place to visit. You can tell right away the hard work the farm staff puts into the place! A lovely orchard in the foothills.
The farm manager, David, couldn’t have been more helpful and such a wonderful man to meet.
I was on a bicycle trip and stayed in the teardrop and slept like a baby. I would definitely recommend a visit and be sure to get some of their great products. Olive oil and pomegranate jelly.. say Hi to David, from his biking buddy Eric!

Weekend Trip to High Desert Protocol
We loved staying at this funky and fabulous compound. The common space was very comfortable and inviting. The pool and hot tub were such a treat and the entire place was surrounded by stunning beauty! The kitchen was cool looking but not very functional. There was a grill but nothing else seemed to be working and there was no way to make coffee, so don’t plan to make anything that can’t be cooked on a grill.

We had a great time at the property and everything worked as advertised. Really close to some fun outdoor activities (The Integratron, Giant Rock, as well as some fantastic restaurants for both lunch and dinner. Not only did we have great weather and stars, but we saw a variety of desert wildlife as well. The outdoor shower was a great feature and we would definitely not only return, but recommend to anyone who is looking for a weekend getaway out in the high desert.

Staying in the Spartan was the perfect “glamping” experience. The stars were beautiful at nighttime. The pool was great on a hot day. It was easy to drive to and from the national park. Very cool and unique shared spaces as well. I would definitely stay here again.

All the animals were a nice touch to our stay! The tree house was super cute, definitely only room for 2 people, it was a bit hot when we got there but it quickly cooled off when sun went down, and the fan helped a lot. The owner was super nice and knowledgeable about the area. Hoping to go back with the kids this summer.

This is one of the coolest hip camps I’ve ever stayed in!! Well worth the visit if you are in the area and want to see Joshua tree. The pool and hot tub are fantastic and incredibly beautiful with the sunrises and sunsets. Tao is a great host and very responsive and the overall vibe of the hipcamp is very cool and well done! Highly recommend!

Our stay at this cabin in Green Valley Lake was everything we needed and more. It was the perfect escape from the city.
The cabin itself was incredibly spacious and well maintained. With three floors and four outdoor decks, there was no shortage of places to unwind and take in the peaceful forest views.
