This was originally a Girl Scout camp called Singing Pines back in the 30’s. You’ll see as you roam around some of the original buildings and structures. It hasn’t been in operation as a Girl Scout camp for over 30 years. The neighbor camp bought the lease but haven’t had the funds to revive it yet. DIRECTIONS: Take Exit for Angeles Crest Hwy (Hwy 2) from the 210 Go North, up the mountain for 29 miles Turn left on Sulpher Springs Rd Go about a mile and you will see a Singing Pines sign up on a hill on the right side. There is a white gate which is usually open but if it's closed go ahead and open it. Go down that driveway about a mile and turn left at the fork. Follow that road down and around the lake staying to the right. Once you passed the lake there will be a little uphill and the location is on the left. Learn more about this land: The Skoolie is a converted short bus with two love seats that convert to an RV queen bed, sink, stove top, dinette, and over head lights. Outside is a private meadow with a short walk to a small lake. You can bring your fishing gear. It's stocked with Bass and Bluegill. Outside the Skoolie is a picnic table, fire pit (firewood $10 a bundle) and a hammock. Up the hill, a very short walk is the private campground toilet facility. This is not shared with anyone else. No cell phone reception no linens bring a sleeping bag or warm blankets. You can charge your phone in the Skoolie for a sunrise alarm or just to take pictures.

This 1968 Shasta Camper, located in a small garden within an urban neighborhood, sleeps up to four people, with additional space to set up tents if desired. Located just ten minutes from the Port of Long Beach and the Port of San Pedro, it’s a great launch point for cruise-goers. With swimming beaches only twenty minutes away, it’s an ideal option for a low-cost vacation. Help yourself to the freshest fruits, vegetables, and legumes from the garden, and watch the bees, butterflies, and grasshoppers happily pollinate, creating opportunities for new growth. The property is securely locked, and the entrance is video-monitored for your safety (and ours). It’s important to note that the camper (not a glamper) is vintage, and the convenience of the urban neighborhood can sometimes come with a variety of neighborhood sounds—though it can also be extremely quiet at times. Due to the desert climate, ants may accompany the pollinators and enter the camper if food or beverages are left out. The garden is shared with our home, so some privacy may be compromised when we tend to it. Street parking only. Pay attention to posted restriction signs and do not park in business or residential lots. The driveway can be made available at a cost of $10 per night (keep in mind the driveway is located at the front of the property and is a short walk away from the entrance to the camper). 1 night at Vintage Camper In LBC Garden

This camper was perfect for a couple and our dog to have a cozy overnight visit to Long Beach. Lena was very helpful and communicative. The garden yard was gorgeous, the camper comfy, well-equipped, and adorable. Would stay again!

This place is such a gem! It's so peaceful and welcoming. The place is so cute, and has everything you need to glamp. The bed is so comfy and the heater had me cozy, and bathtub is stellar! Also the rains had the creek running, and the grass was so green on the hillsides along the trails. A little slice of heaven. Thank you!

Camping here was great! Seeing the goats and other animals roaming around was a sweet surprise. The VW bus we camped out in was comfortable and clean. Having restrooms and a shower nearby made it even better. Would recommend

3 nights at The White Lodge

Such a cute, private spot near the city. The canned ham may be small but it is so cozy and full of character. The bed was very comfy, and we appreciated a kettle being provided. We did need to pick up our own mugs, so keep that in mind if you like a warm beverage in the morning. The cooler is convenient, but we wouldn’t advise expecting it to function as a fridge. The space around the camper is very private feeling with trees around it. The hot tub is such a lovely addition and was fun to use. The whole property is very dreamy. There was plenty of space for eating outdoors. Although the weather for us didn’t permit using the pool, it was so beautiful to look at. The bathroom is just a short walk away, and has awesome decor. We would advise bringing sandals or slides for walking to and from the bathroom and shower. The shower is a fun experience, although it’s important to note it’s quite small (width wise) to enter into the cave area. It’s not feasible for dressing in there, so you will also need to be comfortable walking back in your towel or a robe. The road to the home is very steep and narrow. Street parking is limited but we didn’t have an issue finding parking every night, even when we came back later. There are a couple of cats on the property that visited us and were so cute and friendly. We also got to meet Morgan who was very helpful and kind! We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

The view was stunning, the bus was comfy and was an added part of the experience for sure. Every morning I was woken up by the running of the goats lol. They would stop sometimes and hang out as well. Had a lovely solo camping trip here and would definitely return again!

Magical! Great response from host when I had questions before & after booking about what to bring. The VW bus was nice and warm at the end of November. Absolutely adored the goats: super sweet. I loved seeing ALL the animals there. There was not one thing I didn’t love about this campsite: private, lovely views, bathroom within close walking distance, literally all the things. 5/5 stars, 100% would do again.

Gemini Moon Ranch is a wonderfully unique and charming place. We stayed in the Artist Gallery and it was so cute and comfortable. We also did a stained glass class with Tracy which was amazing!! Will definitely be coming back for Soulful Sundays, one of their events and a girls weekend.

We loved our stay in the Tinned Ham Camper! The property itself was amazing with kitschy and fun decor, beautiful views, friendly hosts, and adorable cats. My favorite part of our stay was the hot tub just a couple steps from our door. We also loved that even though we’re in the middle of Eagle Rock it felt like we traveled to somewhere secluded and romantic. I can’t wait to return here!

I had the absolutely best time! It was so peaceful, at night all you could hear was crickets and frogs. Waking up in the trees was just beautiful. This place had everything you need! The bed was comfy and the place was cozy, true Topanga charm. The hiking trail was so lovely also. We had a sunset and morning hike. My dog enjoyed it too! Pup approved! I will most definitely be back, and recommending it to friends!

Wonderful services and even better property. Everything from the bathroom decor and the interior of the teardrop trailer, to the small details around the yard that made the experience live up to its name. The hosts hospitality and responsiveness to our delays in arrival was very earnest and friendly, and their service was overall wonderful. Very cozy, very pampering, amazing hot tub. We didn’t get to use the beautiful pool with waterslide and grotto. And I haven’t even mentioned the great view, the awesome cave shower and the many kitties roaming around. A perfect getaway. Recommend 100%

1 night at Splitrock Farm and Retreat

Tucked away on a dirt hill, the bright orange VW bus sits shaded against a huge boulder. It opens completely in the back for a cool breeze and paints a retro picture. There are two metal chairs besides it. I was expecting a picnic table, but that was absent. Luckily, I brought a table. The wooden platform below the bus was a really nice touch. I would have loved an outdoor rug to complete the look. I would recommend bringing your own lighting (lanterns, headlamps, lights). Overall, it's a unique, van life camping spot.

This is a gorgeous location! The only downside was lack of access to the restrooms after nightfall, plus the communal sink had no soap. There is a shower that you can access with a code provided from the camp host, but it was not up to my standard for cleanliness.
