Big rig-friendly
Spacious, level camping well-suited for travel trailers over 40 ft long.
A retreat in a steep canyon with beautiful ridgelines in the Malibu Creek area. Private camp spots and hidden trails away from it all, but yet so close. Only 30 Minutes from the Santa Monica Pier or 15 Minutes to the beaches of Malibu, still it feels like being a world away. You wouldn't expect nature to be so pristine and exciting that close to the city. Prior to check-in guests will need to sign the property’s lease agreement which requires a $300 fully refundable security deposit hold on the travellers credit card. For larger groups of five guests and more the deposit will be 50% of the total rent.

A hidden gem
A hidden-away gem. What a fun campsite! The vintage Airstresm trailer is in amazing shape. Decorated and arranged beautifully. Fabian put everything together so nicely. A bowl of fresh rosemary and lemons from their orchard on the table when we arrived. Coffee and cream packs in the fridge. Firewood and kindling and cooking utensils for the BBQ. Lovely little touches everywhere. Thr amenities are amazing. Full power in the trailer and a bathroom with instant hot water. A smart space heater for the chilly evenings and Alexa to play music and turn on the outside string and accent lights made for a really great nighttime camp experience. There is a hiking loop that is private to the site and takes you up into the hills with a bench at the top to watch the sunset it was gorgeous! Overall we can't wait to go back. There is a cabin you can also rent for larger groups they are renovating currently, when they is done, a larger group of friends would make this an incredible site for a getaway weekend. Highly recommend!

Perfect private camping location

Below the Oaks in the Slot Canyon
This was a beautiful spot to park your van and enjoy a natural private space in the hills of Malibu. Fabian was very responsive and provided clear detailed instructions to the location. We were fortunate to be the only ones renting the campsite for the dates we reserved and Fabian graciously offered to upgrade us to the Hunting Cabin location. This was easy to park our van and was beautiful, clean and had nice bathrooms for us to use. We loved the benches, tables and chairs available to make the space a perfect private and peaceful campground. There are lights placed around the hills of the campsite which really added to the natural ambiance at night. Nice trails to explore with the dogs and great photo opportunities. Will definitely rent this space again!

Wonderful Experience!!
We had a fantastic time celebrating my fiancés 30th birthday with some friends at this property. We rented out both the airstream site and the site in front of the old hunting cabin. Fabian was wonderful and accommodating and answered all my questions and requests before and during our stay. We will definitely be back, possibly when the weather is a little cooler and we will definitely stay for longer than 1 night. If you do plan to stay during the warmer months, be sure to pack a sunshade and bring plenty of water. Staying in the vintage airstream was an absolute dream, would highly recommend! Fabian’s instructions for check-in were easy to follow and clear. There is a very bumpy dirt road you have to take on your way in so make sure your vehicle can handle that. Overall, 1000/10 couldn’t recommend staying here more, it was a wonderful experience!

Incredible get away

In Front Of The Old Hunting Cabin
Incredible getaway on about an hour outside LA! Clean bathrooms, electricity but still camping vibes. Huge amazing fire pit and we were able to fit 3 vans. Walmart is a short drive away to stock up on supplies and an inflatable pool for the hot days! Hose and water provided. Fabian was amazing and super communicative! Huge carts of fire wood waiting for us and we will definitely be back again!

I will be honest! Our trip started out as a disaster! Check it time was at 2pm. We arrived a little after 3pm. Before arriva Fabian had given us a location pin to follow bc there was no address. When we arrived there we some Dog trainer truck there, so we drove by assuming we needed to go further. The location pin said it was further up. So we followed the location pin. The road got really narrow, it was scary. Trees were beating up our trailer and car. We finally got to a point where we couldn’t go any further because the road had fallen and it was only narrow enough to walk on. We stopped and I walked up to where the pin said “you have arrived at your destination” there was nothing there and definitely not a place to camp! Now we were stuck on this narrow road, tires literally at the ledge. I had to try to yell at my husband reverse down this hill and not fall off the side of the cliff. It was VERY scary. With 3 kids and 2 dogs in the car it was intense. My husband tried to turn around once we got to the trailer campground (shown on the website for $200 something a night) but it was too narrow and we ended up jack knifing our brand new cyber truck into the trailer putting a giant hole in our trailer and a chunk missing out of the cyber truck. By the time we were done with that fiasco the Dog Trainer guy had left and we realized that that was the campground we were supposed to be staying at. (At enterance) The location pin is WRONG. We liked it but not worth $175 a night.
