We were surrounded by nature in a secluded spot, and a herd of goats grazed through our site in the evening and morning, delighting us with their presence. Feeding the animals, the stunning natural scenery, and the starry skies were absolutely fantastic.

We loved everything about our stay at the hilltop lodge. Great views, so relaxing and peaceful and lots of helpful amenities to make it easy and comfortable. Bed was very cozy for a full nights rest. We will definitely come back again.

Fantastic spot and perfect for a family w kids or couples for a getaway. Came with my husband, 3yo son and 9m baby. Baby could only crawl on the bed and we had to improvise for a safe sleep situation 😅 Toilet had a gorgeous view of nature and there were fun tiny trails around for us that were perfect for our family while we parents switched off cooking. Def recommend the 4WD or hopefully you have good weather and your car can handle terrain. Also highly recommend to save the map photos and screenshot instructions so you don’t get lost with the spotty connection.

2 nights at Bailes Farm

This place was fantastic. If you are into this way of spending some night and days you should here! The three of us (mom, dad, daughter) couldn't have been more pleased with the set up of the camp and cuteness of the yurt. Had shade when it was warm, always a good breeze, we enjoyed the boulder park and flat rock. We are from Florida (think flat :) ) so the drive in once off the main road had me gripping the steering wheel a little. But we were fine. We had a wonderful stay!

If you Love animals, nature, quiet, stars, beautiful walks, kind staff don't look an further. I had the best time. I'm coming back to stay longer . Maybe even for life. ;) animals were so friendly, people there helped me so much. Please do go.

Weekend Trip to Malibu Creek Orchard Retreat

A hidden-away gem. What a fun campsite! The vintage Airstresm trailer is in amazing shape. Decorated and arranged beautifully. Fabian put everything together so nicely. A bowl of fresh rosemary and lemons from their orchard on the table when we arrived. Coffee and cream packs in the fridge. Firewood and kindling and cooking utensils for the BBQ. Lovely little touches everywhere. Thr amenities are amazing. Full power in the trailer and a bathroom with instant hot water. A smart space heater for the chilly evenings and Alexa to play music and turn on the outside string and accent lights made for a really great nighttime camp experience. There is a hiking loop that is private to the site and takes you up into the hills with a bench at the top to watch the sunset it was gorgeous! Overall we can't wait to go back. There is a cabin you can also rent for larger groups they are renovating currently, when they is done, a larger group of friends would make this an incredible site for a getaway weekend. Highly recommend!

My teen boys and husband had a great time at the Dome. It was a great 24 hrs of digital detox. We hiked, bbqd, played cards, and threw a ball for our dog. Everything is there for you including extra blankets, sheets, comfy beds, fridge, cooktop, bbq. It is definitely glamping. Highly recommended.

1 night at The White Lodge

Such a magical spot! The sweetest little trailer and hot tub. It’s super cozy and well equipped with electricity and TV. The place is a real wonderland. Note that trailer is very tiny, so not easy to navigate for bigger folks. Bathroom is an easy walk, awesome and provides towels. This is an amazing staycation—you really feel like you escaped LA.

3 nights at Green Oak Retreat

Such an amazing experience! The hike up there is a little difficult so pack light but definitely worth it. The hike is very beautiful and seems magical almost. Tent was very clean and homey. Came with a heated blanket and mini fridge. Showers were clean and water was hot.

To get to the Glamp, please bear in mind there are quite a lot of stairs to get up the hill so please pack light, but once you arrive, the view is completely worth it! Your own private oasis tucked on top of a private residence with keyed lock gates, so it is completely safe & secure for your belongings if you choose to go out on the town during your stay!Glamping Hollywood Hills is located in a quiet neighborhood in the hills so while the goal is for guests to enjoy themselves and have the best experience possible, I do ask that you please be respectful of the neighbors and keep the noise down. If you're looking for a more turned up experience, there are loads of bars and clubs just a short walk away on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Also, because this is located in the Hills, it is a HIGH FIRE ZONE so no grilling (since we are so centrally located, there are numerous food delivery services that deliver all hours of the day though!) or fires are allowed. And for smokers, please dispose of butts in the designated ash trays. PARKING: There is limited free street parking, or you can park for free at the Hollywood Heritage Museum, just a 2 minute walk from the house if there are no events at the Hollywood Bowl. And if you can’t find a free street spot, I can get you a parking permit for $4 per day. Please let me know if you require that and I can get the passes for you! I take a lot of pride in my space and keeping it clean, and absolutely love hosting guests, so I just ask that you have the same respect back for my space and leave it like it was when you arrived. Please remove your shoes inside the tent in efforts of keeping the rugs clean. :)

Splitrock's attraction comes from its unique groves, magnificent granite boulders, and sweeping vistas. Bailes Farm

One of the last remaining undeveloped parts of Southern California, De Luz Heights is located adjacent to the Cleveland National Forest, and the Santa Margarita River (just a few miles from the campsite). On my 60 acres, there are no major roads going through or next to the property. My land is 13 miles from the Pacific ocean and enjoys a relatively mild yearly climate. Giant boulders provide topographical relief and offer platforms from which to enjoy the view of the nearby Santa Margarita Mountains. The valley views are filled with olive and avocado groves, vineyards, and horse ranches. The Camp Pendleton Marine Corps base is nearby, so you might hear some artillery in the distance on some occasions. The campsite embraces all the comforts of "glamping": a hot shower, composting toilet, beds with sheets provided, gas grill with a stovetop, pots and pans, kitchenware, a sink, picnic table, shaded deck, sofa, lounge chairs, and propane fire pit. The basics are provided: toilet paper, paper towels, purified drinking water, towels, sheets, cooking oil, etc. Campers need to bring their own blankets. I've created a network of hiking trails for especially fit hikers looking for a more rigorous hike than the nearby Santa Margarita River Trail. My trails lead through creek beds, over boulders, through rocky crags, with views of the Pacific ocean on a clear day. Hikers on my trails need to wear proper hiking boots with good traction. Sections of my trails will require bouldering with hands and feet. Expect to have fatigued quadriceps, some scrapes, and a sweaty hat brim. The campsite is accessible with a two-wheel drive vehicle; I drive a Kia Forte out there regularly. However, some tips when driving a two-wheel drive car: when going uphill on a dirt road, try to keep some momentum of about 12-15 MPH. If you stop and try to start again, your tires will spin out. If that happens, just reverse down the hill, and try it again with more momentum.
