Our property has been in business in one way or another for over 70 years. The stick built cabins are pre 1950's and no one really knows for sure how old they truly are. We are located on Fort Creek named after the creek that ran through Fort Klamath. Fort Creek is a beautiful 30' wide meandering creek that runs the length of the property north to south. We offer free use of our Old Town Canoes to paddle along it's extent and on up creek to a beaver damn. There is a fun hiking trail that runs over two bridges that span the creek, one covered and one floating. We also offer free catch and release fishing, there are Rainbow and Brown Trout in our waters.
Fort Klamath is the birthplace and home of the US Army 1st Cavalry and our property is located on the the Forts Southeastern grounds. We are 9 miles from the southern border of the National Park and 23 miles from the southern Rim and Rim Village.
Please note: We do allow pets in our sites for $10 per night. If you plan to bring a pet, please add the pet fee which is listed under "Extras" during the booking process.

Welcome to Juniper Spur Ranch! Directions: GPS Juniper Valley Spur....this is a short culdesac road with a road sign at the entrance off Juniper Valley Drive. There is a green pipe rail gate at the end. This gate has a combination lock. You will receive the current combination code 2 days before your arrival. We have 3 RV sites available for campers to book. Please note that we do not have RV hookups for any of the sites. You will be parking on loose gravel and the sites are flat. We can accommodate most RVs/trailers, if you are uncertain about the size just send me a message.
There is a portapotty in the hay barn cleaned regularly and a water spigot for non-potable water uses or for a quick outdoor shower with a handheld spritzer. It is not enclosed so you will need to be discreet.
Pets are allowed at campsites #2 and #3 only. These campsites are farthest from the horses and dogs. Please keep dogs on leash at all times.
Our property offers a beautiful view of Mount Shasta. Nature lovers, extreme sports enthusiasts, family vacationers and retirees, can all enjoy the vast recreational opportunities this area has to offer.
Lake Siskiyou is about 20 miles south and offers a wonderful 7-mile hiking trail around the entire lake. Bring your horses too. I have a couple of electric-fenced paddocks for visitors.

Owl Creek Cabin is in the Cascade Mountains above Ashland, Oregon. The cabin is in a Douglas Fir grove, next to a seasonal creek, on five forested acres, and adjacent to BLM lands that are open for hiking. It features a firepit with Adirondack chairs and an outdoor clawfoot tub for a private soak.
You’ll be greeted when you arrive and briefly introduced to some of the cabin's unique features, including attic stairs to the windowed sleeping loft. Downstairs is a sofa and sofabed. The coffee cart kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator/freezer, coffee maker, electric tea kettle, toaster oven, and microwave. An outdoor gas grill with skillet and saucepan and picnic table allow for outdoor dining. Dishes, linens, and bedding are provided. WiFi speed is suitable for basic use. Mobile phones connect through WiFi. The cabin is non-smoking. Children 8 and up are welcome.
Recreational areas with miles of trails including the Pacific Crest Trail, are nearby plus lakes that offer fishing, kayaking, paddleboarding, and hiking trails.
A 20-minute drive will take you to Lake of the Woods where you can dine, hike, and kayak. Crater Lake National Park is 50 miles away.

The land sits in a valley where both Soda Creek and Carter Creek enter in to Emigrant Creek as it flows onward to Emigrant Lake, just a mile away. The land is being stewarded by a small group of humans and large community of wildlife and insects. Together we are slowly creating something special... including community event and classroom spaces, gardens, orchards, holistically managed ranch lands, campgrounds and wild places.

Just 10 minutes off the freeway, a variety of simple yet thoughtfully laid out low impact sites afford car and tent camping or smaller RVs and vans, with ample privacy. Small to medium size (5-15p) groups may combine sites and enjoy some shared space and amenities, please inquire.
Accessible year round at an elevation just under 3000 feet, the Ridge enjoys fairly comfortable temperatures with some cold nights and hot days in winter and summer respectively. This is a drier climate with infrequent rain between May and October, with elevated fire risk and the potential for smoke impacts from surrounding forests, although the mountainside location generally offers clean fresh air with stunning sunsets and excellent stargazing! Expect good wireless service coverage while on site.
The land contains over a mile and a half of scenic walking trails, with rock features and elegant naturally dwarf oak trees and shrubs in a landscape undergoing steady restoration to a healthy fire resistant native condition. Wildlife abounds, mostly the friendly sort however visitors should be mindful to avoid unwelcome encounters, and any small children or pets kept under close watch. On the upside there are almost no biting insects to dodge (although wasps may be present during warmer days). Your host knows the environment well and can answer questions or concerns.
This unique property is a work in progress combining ecological design, landscape art, conservation, recreation, cultural usage and appropriate technology for a refined experience of the "wild side" of life close to the ground in a majestic setting here. Activity and development on site are minimized to preserve and enhance the natural habitats and ambience. Guests are advised to remain mindful while visiting to minimize disturbance of other occupants and lifeforms! It's fine to have fun and make some intermittent noise but disruptive or damaging behavior will be promptly curtailed. This extends to the surrounding neighborhood as well, especially while driving the road in/out where it's important to keep your speed (& dust, noise etc) DOWN.
The property is NOT a park, playground, or big backyard, in fact probably not much like anyplace you've been before! A good mix of curiosity, care, humility, and attentiveness will go a long ways toward making your initial stay here satisfying and smooth. Younger guests are welcome but must be supervised and receptive to pertinent guidelines. This location is not set up (yet) for people with significant mobility challenges, or for people with no prior camping experience.

Mindful Earth Farm is a multi-family intentional community located on a six acre certified organic and biodynamic permaculture farm outside of Ashland Oregon. We currently have two families and two additional indivuals living on the farm as well as goats, chickens, guinea hens, dogs and a few cats. Although the farm has worn many cash hats over the last ten years, from a market garden, to a hemp farm, a hemp seed breeding research facility, and most recently a heritage grain research farm, the more permanent aspects of the farm including the food forests and horticulture have continued to evolve despite historic droughts and high temperatures over the last couple of years. With the abundant rain we received earlier this year, we are experiencing a bountiful harvest of fruits, berries and nuts in addition to plentiful veggies from our annual garden spaces.
As the focus from agricultural production has lifted, The Mindful Earth Alliance is now shifting intent towards using the existing farm as a teaching facility. We currently offer classes and workshops in biodynamic and “bio-resonant” farming, permaculture, natural building as well as kids camps, song circles and African drumming.

We provide the first night of firewood with more available for purchase. We are all about peace and respect for the land and each other on Thrive Ranch. Please be expecting to exist in the same type of space while here. No loud music or huge ruckus'. If you have the need to create a space for a larger group where you can celebrate and make some noise just let us know, we can probably accommodate with special arrangements and at a different location on the property.
We named all our sites after past pets that we hold very dear to our hearts. It was that or some kind of hairy fairy names that you hear everywhere else like serenity or solitude.....blechh...
We have a stream that flows year round, a 10-12' sheet waterfall with a swimming hole and a glorious 100' waterfall to hike to, stand under or just sit and enjoy. We have a pond that we are currently developing as a contributing recreational space. We are adding value at a very rapid space and will be adding to the description as we do. If you book a month out don't be surprised if we have added an outdoor kitchen or real toilet outhouse to your site. So much cool stuff to do on a really magical property. We want to share so come enjoy.
Access to miles of trails and roads on BLM/Forest Service land for hiking, ATV's, motorcycles and off-roading.
Please know to explore responsibly and at your own risk to preserve the land and keep yourself safe. You are also welcome to explore the property with the exception of one space on the upper portion where the owners reside. This area will be clearly marked. Views are beyond and nothing man made that is not on the property is visible from the property with the exception of one little red light on a US Cellular tower across the valley.
We currently do not provide electricity at the sites but it is in the works. We have both available a short walk from the camp site in a common area. The power is limited to charging tech, some laptop time and the like, It wont run a hairdryer, etc. The WiFi is common use and has the ability to download and make WiFi calls. No guarantee of its suitability for any particular purpose, it will depend on usage in the moment. There is little to no reception up here so please plan ahead. US cellular has property and valley wide reception but that is the only one. Verizon can send texts and messages but is painfully slow or non-existent on internet. Also has voice calls occasionally but don't count on it. All the other cell services we do not know about.
If you would like to spend a week or more here and would like a better power/internet solution then let us know. We can set it up for specific needs. Good if you wish to be in an amazing space to work remote or write.
We are adding decks for lounging and views, a solar and wood heated community Jacuzzi for our guests and an outdoor shower tub as we speak and will add pictures as the projects are completed.
We welcome ATV's, side by sides, 4x4's and other such fun rec stuff but will require you to ride/drive on the bazillion acres of BLM land. It is on two sides of the property and a short distance. Riding on and off the property is limited to 10 mph to limit dust and noise and safety for everyone on the property. Please let us know if you plan on bringing any toys so we can notify the others on the property and send additional info, rules and such.
There are several wineries on the road between us and Ashland. If you get drunk please arrange a ride or contact us for help. We support not driving while under the influence and will support you, we also have several responsible persons that live on the property and can be hired to drive/guide you on tours. We are in the process of creating wine tours of the valley which will include a driver.
We have several lakes within 10-30 minutes for boating, and other water sports.
Rock climbing is also available with the local sport crag within 25 minutes, castle crags is about 2 hrs away and several other small crags and bouldering around the valley 30 min.-1.5 hrs. Instruction and guiding are available if you or your group would like to learn. Equipment provided. Inquire.

If you are a facilitator or train then the same as above. We would love to make arraignments for kids groups, camps, music festivals and workshops.
Please be aware that there is little to no cell service up here if you get lost you will have to back track, find service and contact us and we can help you find us. If you'd like, tell us when you are turning onto Dead Indian Memorial Rd so we can expect you in 30 minutes, if you don't arrive we can go looking for you. Please just let us know and we can send directions. Google maps will take you right to the property, we've found that other navigation apps will take you the wrong way.
