Our property has been in business in one way or another for over 70 years. The stick built cabins are pre 1950's and no one really knows for sure how old they truly are. We are located on Fort Creek named after the creek that ran through Fort Klamath. Fort Creek is a beautiful 30' wide meandering creek that runs the length of the property north to south. We offer free use of our Old Town Canoes to paddle along it's extent and on up creek to a beaver damn. There is a fun hiking trail that runs over two bridges that span the creek, one covered and one floating. We also offer free catch and release fishing, there are Rainbow and Brown Trout in our waters. Fort Klamath is the birthplace and home of the US Army 1st Cavalry and our property is located on the the Forts Southeastern grounds. We are 9 miles from the southern border of the National Park and 23 miles from the southern Rim and Rim Village. Please note: We do allow pets in some of our sites for $10 per night. Welcome to Juniper Spur Ranch! Directions: GPS Juniper Valley Spur....this is a short culdesac road with a road sign at the entrance off Juniper Valley Drive. There is a green pipe rail gate at the end. This gate has a combination lock. You will receive the current combination code 2 days before your arrival. If you are turning onto a dirt road without a sign....you are on the wrong road. Juniper Valley Spur is my short culdesac road with a road sign and a locked green pipe rail gate at the end. We have 3 RV sites available for campers to book. Please note that we do not have RV hookups for any of the sites. You will be parking on loose gravel and the sites are relatively flat. We can accommodate most RVs/trailers, if you are uncertain about the size just send me a message. There is a portapotty in the hay barn cleaned regularly and a water spigot for non-potable water uses. There is no shower available but you could wash off hands and feet if desired with the hose. Pets are allowed at campsites #2 and #3 only. These campsites are farthest from the horses and dogs. Please keep dogs on leash at all times. Our property offers a beautiful view of Mount Shasta. Nature lovers, extreme sports enthusiasts, family vacationers and retirees, can all enjoy the vast recreational opportunities this area has to offer. Lake Siskiyou is about 20 miles south and offers a wonderful 7-mile hiking trail around the entire lake.

My husband and I had a great time tent camping here!! We went during the off-season so it was extra quiet and the whole place was elaborately decorated for Halloween - including a haunted walk-through path, which was such a treat! There was a heated bathroom with showers and a cute camp store as well. Being next to I5 there was car noise but we found it to be more like white-noise than annoying. Our tent site was in the main part of the camp, but we walked up the short hill to where the other tent sites are and Mt Shasta is right there staring you down! It was beautiful. Also a bonus was all the farm animals! There were chickens, roosters, turkeys, goats, and more, and two cute little camp kittens led us around when we were exploring. We didn't get a chance during our short stay to meet the host, but she's provided such a fun and comfortable place to stay and we would definitely stay there again.

This place is a must stay. We had an amazing time camping here, even if it was so freaking cold the night we stayed. We utilized the free canoe and it was well worth it. The store has everything you need, is reasonably priced, and everyone that works there is so nice. Would recommend and if I'm back around Crater Lake I'll be back for sure.

Patrice’s campsite is as described by others and in the hip camp listing. It sits in the middle of a large piece of property just past the town of Weed off Highway 97. We liked this location and site. We pitched our tent on flat ground that felt remote, quiet, and off the beaten path. Campsite 3 had a great view of Mt. Shasta, though when we were there it was covered in clouds. You should be aware that the Porta-potty feels like a long walk from the site (100-200 yards). Patrice is super responsive and will make sure you have everything you need.

Beautiful spot! This Hipcamp has nice sites, a clean port-a-pottie, and a small, pretty garden to view. It is convenient to the freeway (and has freeway noise, which we didn’t hear with the windows closed). We were able to bike to town for our plays from here.
