Just a 15 min drive to Tortoise Rock casino and the Oasis Visitor Center at Joshua Tree. Explore other famous sites such as the Integratron, Giant Rock and Pappy & Harriets Palace just under an hour away. Google the King of Hammers when they are in town, super cool event!
Please walk and drive around the property carefully as the land is unkempt and wildlife is present. We are not liable for your adventures, please use your best judgment.
The roads are unpaved so we suggest high clearance, 4 x 4 type vehicles. Please keep to the already traveled roads and paths, be respectful not to drive over plants, trees etc. Do not disturb the beauty of our land. Although unkempt, its raw nature is beautiful and meaningful to us.

Lovely grounds and host! I went for tent camping and Jonesy really makes this space cozy and special. The camping spot is spacious and open, with firepit and table provided, and it was great to have such well-thought out amenities just a walk away. The provided bathroom was convenient, but when a big party arrived it became very busy so having a backup bathroom plan when tent camping is recommended. Overall would definitely return, especially when the sites at Joshua Tree are all booked up!

My dogs and I loved staying here in our camper van! Something to know is that this spot is very open, so be prepared if it’s windy! Rebecca is a very communicative host, and the site is well kept. The outhouse is clean and such a nice touch. My dogs and I loved roaming the property for sunsets and the stargazing is top notch. If you like solitude this is a great site, we will be back!

Wow if you love the desert and complete privacy this is the quintessential Hipcamp. We had a sweet little campfire under a 96% full moon. We put our Sportsmobile into 4 wheel action and Ben provided excellent guidance into his site. Mountains all around and the site is surrounded by trails in every direction.

My husband and I had a great night tent camping here. The host has been really thoughtful with the amenities and set up and it was just a 10-15 minute drive to the Joshua tree park entrance. We plan to come back and bring friends we liked it so much. Thank you!!!

This oasis was a wonderful getaway from the city to enjoy the stars, the desert and the rain.
My friend and I stayed, got rained on pretty heavily in our tent & the host was very accomodating.
Even in the rain, there are plenty of common space to enjoy from the hot tub to the sauna. We were able to enjoy some sunshine as well between down pours.
I will definitely be back again!

My friend and I had a great time here! Though the weather was bad (cold & rainy) the hot tub & sauna were amazing! We were able to cook food under shelter, play games, paint, etc and enjoy being outdoors while avoiding the rain. We spent majority of our time hanging out in the common areas and loved the hot tub in the rain!
The host was incredibly kind and accommodating.

I'd highly recommend this sight especially for a group. It's private, has good cell phone reception and is close to Joshua Tree Park.

Weekend Trip to Joshua Tree Container Resort
We really enjoyed our one night stay at Steve’s “resort”. The space was very comfortable and private. Unfortunately, we weren’t there long enough to take advantage of the pool, hot tub, or sauna, but we did get a beautiful night of stargazing on the upper deck! And we loved his recommendation to eat at The Palms. We highly recommend his place.

We loved everything at this ranch! The spa, pool, sauna, gym. They even had a blues jam around the firepit! Clean facilities and rooms.
It was great relaxing with private and beautiful views! The host was really helpful, even recommending an incredible restaurant with band. Very fun visit!

This place is pure magic! The lotus tent felt more like a boutique hotel than a campsite… cozy bed, incredible desert views, and nights under the stars with a telescope. Sunrise, sunset, and the endless sky were unforgettable.
The amenities were so thoughtful: outdoor shower, cowboy pool, hammocks, pizza oven (my pizza wasn’t pretty but it was delicious!). Every detail felt intentional and added to the experience.
The property backs onto open BLM land, so you can wander endlessly through the desert, discovering little art installations along the way. It felt limitless, wild, and beautiful.
Days were the perfect mix of exploring Joshua Tree and lounging at the property. Evenings by the fire pit under the desert sky were the highlight.
You can tell the hosts poured love into this place…. it’s private, peaceful, well-kept, and welcoming. Truly the best desert retreat if you’re looking for something bougie yet soul-soothing. I can’t wait to come back!
