These are the amenities/facilities you will have free access to: Pool, Pool chairs and umbrellas, Deck area with sunset view, Trampolines, and hammocks. There is not cooking allowed by or at any of the common areas, due to flies and critters. Cooking and eating is only allowed by your sites and not in any common areas: Hammocks, Trampolines, Pool Area, tables, sink, and deck please follow this rule because we want to prevent our shared areas to be fly and bug infested. We are still working on ridding the flies and cleaning. (please try to bring prepackaged food or something easy. If anything you can drive 10 minutes to nearby food and grocery). In the past we let people cook and eat around the pool but now our whole property is fly infested and I find scattered leftovers on the ground. Thanks for understanding. 19. The Ganja Getaway

1 site · Lodging · Callender, CA
Two-bedroom cottage with kitchen and bathroom. WE CATER TO THE 420-FRIENDLY CROWD! Take a trip back in time and experience a 1970s-style California cannabis farm! Chill out, play some old-school vinyl records, and enjoy that sweet, sweet California ganja. This was a medical cannabis farm prior to legalization. A blast from the past—the halcyon days of analog music, groovy style, and rock-and-roll rebellion. Cool vibes and free, beautiful human beings. This is an off-grid antique farmhouse. Unplug from the Matrix and come live real life! This is a family farm that has been in our family for five generations. No smoking tobacco in the house—ganja is okay inside. There is a deck with a large umbrella, table, and chairs. It has an ashtray and you can smoke cigarettes or tobacco there. We are 420 friendly… very 420 friendly. The gardens, back field, and grape arbor are available for guests to enjoy. Our well supplies all the water to the property. The driveway is not paved. The farm is about a century old. I remodeled the inside of the cottage in 2019. It’s not fancy, but it’s comfortable, clean, and peaceful. We’re 10 minutes or less from pretty much everything. We were a medicinal cannabis farm during the medical era, and after legalization we decided to offer 420-friendly hospitality to tourists enjoying the Central Coast. My place isn’t for everyone, but if it sounds good to you, then you’re our kind of people—free, beautiful human beings! This is a place where you can relax and be yourself. Come visit and enjoy! Bring positive vibes and leave your troubles at the gate. NOTE: This is an antique farmhouse built around 1934. It is still mostly off-grid (there is electricity and Wi-Fi).

PLEASE READ: Hello all! If you're looking for some glamping with creature comforts, while just being 10 minutes away from restaurants. This is the place for you. We are a 5 acre property and home surrounded by tall redwood and oak trees. Very green and lots of shade. THERE IS A 1-2 MINUTE HIKE TO THE CAMPSITES 1-5! Poolside campsites are closer to the parking and are bigger. CHECK OUT OUR NEW LODGING: This property is my home that I live in with my 2 kids. It is a rustic and homey vibe, definitely not a hotel. We want you to come knowing what to expect. Our property offers a pool, and trampolines for the kids. We have a deck patio area that overlooks an amazing view of the redwood forest. Most of our guests are those that come from foreign countries and they all LOVE the property. I love leaving a great impression of our area. CAMPGROUND GUIDELINES Pack out your trash. Rinse feet before using the pool. No pool toys or floaties. Always supervise kids. Don’t sit on chair edges or pool cover box. Use stumps or your own table for cooking (not ours). Keep the area clean—no food scraps on the ground. No dogs in the pool area; leashes and cleanup required. No eating in rooms or cabin. Check out on the deck. No smoking (vapes only, away from common areas). Propane grills only—no open flames or campfires. Thanks for helping us keep this place awesome!

If you want to learn to ride or play polo... that is my real job. Guests love it here: "My husband, friends, and our dogs spent Thanksgiving at Megan’s farm. Megan was welcoming, patient (I asked her a number of questions) and responsive - even on Thanksgiving evening. The property is in a GREAT location so close to SLO, Montaña de Oro, Morro Bay, wineries and so much more. (The weather prevented us from experiencing that and so much more but it’s easy to build a great trip when staying at Megan’s place.) It was a unique experience and if you enjoy or interested in horses - this is a great spot to stay."

To the west is an unobstructed view of the Los Padres National forest, sunsets over the coast ridge from Junipero Serra peak to the north and Rocky Butte to the south. To the east is Williams Hill BLM area, with clear views of the sunrise. To the southeast is Lake San Antonio. Nacimiento Lake is a beautiful 45 minute drive to the south. The property is at the end of the road. No traffic, no noise, only views of the surrounding area. If you are interested in night skies, the milky way is a constant. After winter rains, everything is green and wild flowers are abundant. Stay and enjoy the vistas or travel relatively short distances for hiking in the Los Padres forest, drive CA HWY 1, visit Paso Robles wineries, boat or fish at Lake San Antonio or Lake Nacimiento. Nearby Williams Hill BLM area for hunting, shooting or ATV riding. For hunters and fisherman, Ft Hunter Liggett is to the immediate west. Occasional weekend's be entertained by military training and occasional aircraft, helicopters and planes.
